Description of Work: Very happy with their work and their communication. There was a small mishap and they addressed it immediately. The manager came out personally to make sure it was taken care of to my satisfaction. As they say, the true test is how good you are when something goes wrong. They were the best.

Guy was nice and knowledgeable, but it was not really an energy audit as promised on the add, was a company that ONLY dealt with attic and insulation cleaning and installation. When i asked about windows and doors and thermal scans of the home like the advertisement suggested, he said they don't do that stuff and said their services were miss represented by Angie's List

Description of Work: The work was done quickly and efficiently. He reassured me that it appeared the attic and under the house was secure. He did a couple of minor fixes for me on access. I could not be more pleased or appreciative.

Description of Work: I bought a package for pest removal from Atticare LA. The guy showed up and determined that he would not be able to help me because we had a crawl space but no actual attic. He refunded the $99 which was great, considering he still made a service call to my place. Very professional.

Description of Work: Cleaned out rodent nests and droppings in attic, sealed all possible rodent entry points, and replaced attic insulation. Very clean and prompt. Excellent service. (Unfortunately I can't recall the total cost or exact date of service as I waited so long to do this review.)

Description of Work: I purchased a rodent exclusion package for $99.00. | |The person who came to the house was supposed to set up 6 mice traps,- which was what the receptionist (a woman) explained to me when I called in to set the appointment and to verify what was included with the package. | |When the technician came in, he was surprised to learn that I did not have an attic. Then I showed HIM where I thought the mice may be gaining access to the inside of our home. He did not look for any other entry points on his own. He hammered two different pieces of metal netting over holes (one in the garage and one behind the stove). Then he said he was done. I asked him when he would set up the 6 mouse traps. He said that this service did not come with my $99 package. But he gave me a single trap and SHOWED ME how to use it. He was clearly afraid it would slam on his own fingers while he was showing me how to use it. So why would I want to use the trap,- if an "expert" is afraid to set it up himself? He was at my house for all of 15 minutes or less, then left without setting up a single mouse trap. Two days later, I saw another add for the Rodent Exclusion package from Atticare for $45.00 (1/2 of what I spent),- and the offering clearly spelled out additional services,- over and above what I received for $99.00. | |I contacted Angie's list about my dissatisfaction and they informed me that I needed to address this with Atticare directly. I chose not to contact Atticare,- as I really don't have time to be back and forth with a vendor,- about being ripped off. | |I just now had time to do a review of the service which took place back in September. I was asked by Angie's list to do so. So there you have it. | |"Unhappy Customer" | |P.S. Please do not publish my name on the Angie's List website, as I do not want my struggle with rodents in my home to be made public via the internet. Thank you. |

Description of Work: Inspected attic, vacuumed out old blow-in insulation, sanitized attic, sealed any rodent intrusion points and re-insulated with R30 roll-in insulation.

Description of Work: Manual removal of debris in attic, Vacuumed loose(old) insulation, rodent proof by sealing off entrances to attic including vent replacement, sanitized attic and installed new owen's corning insulation R-30 rolls.
