Description of Work: The owner was very helpful, and corrected some problems with the installation of my original water feature, which was not installed by a landscaper. It now functions perfectly, especially the drip irrigation system, important in our California drought.

Description of Work: Vega landscaping did a general cleanup and removed a number of small trees and bushes that we didn't want. They trimmed everything back and tamed the ivy.

Description of Work: They transformed our ugly yard of dirt to a beautiful lush green lawn. We have already had comments on the concrete mow strips on both sides of the lawn. We are envied by all our neighbors now!!! Thanks to Nick and his wonderful crew for performing at a high level. Well done guys!

Description of Work: Nick showed me color options for our concrete and tested them prior to the work. Was responsive to my call.

Description of Work: They re ramped our sprinkler system for the front and back yard. A task in which, two previous sprinkler companies and three landscape companies were unable to perform successfully.

Description of Work: We needed our side yard paved and irrigated and we weren't sure what kind of style we wanted. Nick Vega designed a beautiful hardscape design that was both functional and beautiful. Vega Landscape put in hardscape that was set like large stepping stones and gravel in-between. All around the paving are beautiful plants that are gorgeous and low maintenance. He also installed the irrigation and drainage for a complete functional and beautiful side yard. I wish we would have known about this company when we first bought our house.

Description of Work: I initially contacted Nick Vega because he was working on my neighbor's house next door. About a year ago, he had completed some landscaping on a house down the street. I thought that it looked great. The owner was very satisfied with his work. After watching his workers next door for a couple of weeks, I noted that they did excellent work, and I asked him to give me a bid on the following: 1) tear out all existing front and back lawn, and install sod. 2) Clean out my clogged drains in the yard, that had roots, etc. growing in them, and install new ones where necessary. 3) Fix 3 leaking faucets. 4) Install a new timer for the lawn sprinklers, and re-install the wiring underground, where appropriate. 5) Install some brickwork on side of my walkway. 6) Replace all existing sprinklers in lawn areas, and install new sprinkler lines in flowerbeds, including coring under concrete. 6) Remove some dying plants, mulch all planters, prep soil, and plant new plants in flowerbeds. This project was done in 2 parts, and took about 30 days (elapsed time - did not work every day ). Because he was also working next door, some of the work had to wait until he could appropriately fit it in. The workers were great. I especially enjoyed watching them cut flagstone by hand, and meticulously fit them together to form a beautiful front walkway next door. They were very courteous, and cleaned up each day. Nick is easy to work with. He had good ideas, and even accompanied me to a nursery to show me some plants that he was considering planting in my front yard. He knows the habitat of various plants, and I was impressed.

Description of Work: I called Vega Landscaping on or around Monday or a Tuesday and spoke directly with Nick, the owner. I explained my problem - a three column fountain which kept sinking in the soil and as a result, disrupted the water flow.He understood exactly what needed to be done- and even suggested how to further amplify the peaceful ambiance that this small garden area was to have exhibited. He was available that following Saturday and arrived with two of his staff. They moved the fountain, put gravel under the fountain and placed small.smooth colored pebbles around the fountain to create the "zen" atmosphere I wanted. The only negative - and it is a small one - was that on the day of the appointment, Nick called to request a time change for our appointment to two hours later. Luckily, my Saturday was free, otherwise, that could have been a nuisance. Other than that - he and his crew were outstanding and I would definitely recommend them as well as use them again!

Description of Work: 1. Replaced 1 3/4" sprinkler valve, and replaced sprinkler heads in front and back (body only).

Description of Work: Upgraded current lawn and garden sprinkler system removing old heads, replacing and adding valves as necessary, removing old timer and replaced with digital system to ensure all areas are irrigated properly with the least amount of water. Entire system is Rainbird. They picked up all trash from job. Very respectful, clean and thorough. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone needing irrigation system installed or replaced.

Description of Work: We used the services of Vega Landscape for some hardscaping work. They finished the work about two weeks ago. They installed the concrete driveway and the back patio.

Description of Work: Vega Landscape met with us and listen to our design ideas and looked over our detailed sketches of what we wanted our front yard, sidewalks and driveway to become. Nick Vega (owner) offered constructive input and suggestions. From there he promptly drafted an estimate that we were quite pleased with. After receiving two additional estimates from other hardscape/landscape contractors we decided to use Vega Landscape. Nick met with us a couple of times to draft a working plan and to finalize a contract to work from. He drew up a clean and simple landscape drawing of our agreed upon needs and ideas and took measurements of the entire work area. Vega Landscape removed existing concrete, landscaping, grass and plants. They then prepared the grounds for hardscaping (sprinkler systems, landscaping light cable raceways), formed up concrete forms and poured concrete. Finally, they cleaned up the forms and debris and then set about to placing boulders and gravel. We decided to save money by planting the plants ourselves but Nick's guys were easily capable of handling that task as well.

Old plants & grass were removed & a new raised planter & plants with irrigation & lighting were added both in the front yard & on the far side of the driveway. The main walkway to the front door & to the side gate were re-done with tons of brickwork.
