Wayne Sartin was one of the better contractors that I have dealt with while remodeling a condo. He communicated very well to ensure that I knew exactly what to expect and then he followed through on his promises. He was very punctual and easy to work with. He tried very hard to ensure that I was satisfied with everything. He did a great job on both the shower and the floors. I was very happy with the results and it was a pleasure to deal with him. Would gladly do so again. Oh, and he cleaned up the work area nicely - I wish all my contractors would do the same! I read the other bad review and I'm unsure what happened there... those comments did not resemble my experience with Sartin Co.

We had an awful experience with the Owner Wayne Sartin. I live in the Bay area, and after getting quotes from several tile companies, we decided to move forward with Sartin Tile. The price was right. Did not negotiate with him on price. I thought he gave a good price, and decided to move forward. He did the work while I was in the bay area. I arrived, and the work was shoddy. 1. There were many grout holes in the Tile 2. The entire edge of a wall was missing Tile 3. He left both condos a mess with grout EVERYWHERE He was planning on coming to pick up a check the day after we arrived. After arriving and seeing the problems, I called him right away, and told him that I wanted to let him know that I won't be handing over a check the next day until we resolve these issues. He said that he doesn't think there are problems, but he will come and take a look at it. He showed up the next day, and from the beginning, was arguing. Noticeably so, that my husband told him that he needs to lower his voice. He also started shouting curse words (real classy). He said he wasn't prepared to do the work today, and that he will come back and finish the job later in the week. We paid him everything except $100 in good faith that he would finish the job properly. He did some work for 10 minutes, and at the end when I showed and noticed that there were some missing grount joints, he literally REFUSED to fix it. He said he is done, and walked off.........BUT, not without shouting that he is going to put a lien on the house for the $100 remaining. I would have gladly paid it, if he had finished the job properly. It was obvious that he was rushed, and had another job to go to, and didn't want to and quot;wasteand quot; anymore time on this job. We are left with two condos that still are missing grout joints. He said in the beginning of this whole escapade that customer service is important to him, but ACTIONS speak lounder than WORDS!

Extremely professional and personable. Knowledgable and honest on quote, tile prices, timing and all-around great team. The quality of work is top-notch. Will guide you through the whole process and not disruptive to you schedule whatsoever. Will answer any questions the you have with regard to tiles, tiling, general remodel (since he has so many years of experience/projects). We look forward to having Sartin Tile do more work in our other bathroom/kitchen!

Wayne and Terry are excellent craftsmen and they do all the work themselves. Wayne has over 20 years experience tiling and it shows in their meticulous results. Wayne is very patient and answers any questions you may have, and gave solid advice when needed. He treated our house like it was his own, was always cheerful and had a very positive attitude. Their work ethic is old school, and we had no worries when they were around. Wayne has a keen eye for details and was very observant, so all of the projects turned out beautifully. Since a plumbing leak in a different area made the second remodel necessary, there was new paint and new cabinets and granite that they worked around. They left the job looking great. They also saved us $ by not wasting any of the tiles. It was a pleasure to work with both of them, as they work hard to please the homeowner!
