Nick does outstanding work in his craft. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience. He arrived on time for the work. He is courteous and friendly. He was very confident about the job which required some retrofit to the space for the microwave and oven. He even found the white oak to match my existing cabinets. The job took 5 hours and his price was very fair for the work involved.

Nick and his partner did the job efficiently and competently. We are pleased with their service.

Nick went out of his way to help me find locks that were missing on my windows, but in the end we were unsuccessful. Best we could surmise they were discontinued, so I ended up replacing the windows entirely and hired a window replacement company. But Nick went out of his way to try and help me, and even put me in contact with the company that eventually did the work. After time invested, he refused payment which speaks to how trustworthy and honest he is. I would not hesitate to call Nick for any future work.

This is is my second time using Nick's service and once again things were great. His assistant James handled the work and was efficient, clean and friendly. Nick prices are the lowest I have found and his service is top quality. They have always been extremely punctual and professional. Will use again and recommend to friends and family

Nick was easy to get a quote and schedule an appointment with and his employee James was excellent to work with. I messed up the appt time and James was able to work around my schedule. He finished the job in half the quoted time and did an excellent job. The quote was the lowest I received and the service was top notch. Will definitely be using Nick of Time again and recommend to family and friends.

Nick is the perfect handyman! He and his associate, James, did an awesome job, were so easy to work with, and even helped with hanging the draperies! They knew exactly how things should be done, came with all of the right tools, and did the job quickly and perfectly. I'm looking forward to working with them again on other projects.

1) Replacement of thermostat: The one in my condo had no power going to it, which meant that I couldn't use the AC. I was initially set on buying one that was the same brand as the dead one, but he explained that they are fairly universal and gave me some recommendations. I had a much easier time finding one based on his advice. Nick did a thorough job of testing the connections and wires and deduced that it was the thermostat itself that needed to be replaced. He finished installing the new thermostat in under 10 minutes. 2) Ceiling fan: I bought my condo about three years ago, but never used the ceiling fan in the bedroom because it was absolutely ugly and because it sounded like metal grinding on metal when I turned it on. Very unpleasant. I bought one from a big box home improvement store that fit my needs and the room and had it ready to go for Nick. He removed the old one and found that the new fan needed an actual fan box (the old fan was installed with a light box). He had to go to the nearest home improvement store to get the right fan box; I was very worried that the work in total would run over 2 hours (his labor costs are per-hour). He managed to get back and finish the installation in two hours. The extra work he did will quite literally allow me to sleep better at night- with a fan keeping me cool and in my mind knowing that that the new ceiling fan (which is much heavier than the old one) won't crush me to death from falling off the ceiling. PRICE: He charged $80/hour for labor, which is very reasonable. The total was $171, which included the cost of the new ceiling fan box that was needed to finish the installation. QUALITY: The work he did was excellent. RESPONSIVENESS: He was very quick with his text messages, even in the evenings after hours. He communicated very well and I am very pleased with this. PUNCTUALITY: Nick was on time! Wooo hooo! PROFESSIONALISM: Nick is very nice, didn't mind that I watched him since I wanted to learn more about how the repairs were made, and was very mindful of not leaving a mess behind. I will definitely call him again for future work in my condo. Thank you, Nick!

Nick responded right away and arrived at the house in less than an hour. He initially quoted a price for just the removal of a troublesome compression ring and nut that kept me from replacing the toilet water supply valve and installing the valve itself. After the ring and nut were removed, the pipe was so crushed that it needed to be cut before reinstalling the valve. He was very fast and professional so I asked for a quote for replacing all the guts of the toilet and the seals. He drove to the local hardware shop, picked up the parts he needed, and came back and finished the job in short order. Very pleasant and professional, fast response. Would use again, highly recommended

Nick was great. After two plumbers refused to repair a copper water line that fed outside irrigation, Nick took care of the issue. I was without water in my home until this could be repaired. Nick arrived within 30 minutes of me contacting him, as I told him how urgent this was and needed to get water flowing in my house again. He was very thorough in making sure he had the correct supply line that needed repair and It was repaired correctly. He was very thorough. It was a tight spot between two outside slabs of concrete, but he dug it out and capped it off. I will use him again and do recommend him.

Nick is excellent!! This my second encounter and I couldn't be more pleased. I will continue to employ Nick for future projects. Nick responded to my requests through Angie's List. All other handymen on Angie's List never responded to email or phone calls. Nick showed up on time, reviewed what was needed, bought the parts and fixed. He went through all the options for the type of light switch I might want, explaining what each one did. I'm very satisfied and will call Nick again.

Nick, was very professional, worked fast, was very friendly and easy to work with, his work is exceptional. We will hire him again we were very Pleased with the job he did for us.

Nick and his crew painted my kitchen and performed other repairs around the house,including tile repair in the bathroom. Them they came back and installed my daughter's new playset. Nick is fantastic to work with!

Nick has a good personality but delayed the start of the job as he had other jobs going which I was ok with. The initial job was to replace the existing recessed lighting, hallway/entryway lights. Install light & ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room. The job was completed and shortly thereafter one fan started making noise and another light flickered. I arranged to have one of his people come correct the issue and after the fixed the noise in the one fan they mistakenly changed the remote from turning on a single fan to multiple fans. He tried to correct it but after a while just gave up and told me he'd let Nick know. I later noticed that there were spots on my brand new bedroom set from when they put the texture material on the ceiling after installing the fan. When I pointed it out to Nick he said they covered the furniture and to just wipe it off. It's left a permanent mark on the furniture. The second job was to remodel a bathroom remove existing fiberglass tub, walls, vanity, toilet and flooring. Originally I was going to replace the tub with a custom shower and Nick was going to leave the drain where it was. Later Nick indicated that the drain had to be moved and he would have to drill into the concrete. I told him instead I'd find a replacement tub. A few days later he called to tell me he had drilled into the concrete even though I told him I didn't want that done. He had not gotten a permit and at that point I told him he needed to get this permitted. When his painter was done in the bathroom I asked him if he had done two coats he said no that after the rest of the bathroom was done if needed he'd come back and do the second coat. Shortly thereafter, my father was rushed to the hospital and passed two weeks later. All other work was performed while I was out of town at the hospital with my father. A friend stayed at my home while Nick completed the work. When I returned I found that when they installed the new baseboards they got paint on the newly installed tile. They got paint on the newly installed exhaust fan in the bathroom. When they patched where the medicine cabinet was you can see where they taped the sheet rock. They had cracked one of the light switches, they replaced it but only used two instead of four screws. When I asked about the second coat of paint he sent his painter to only touch up which caused me to have to hire another painter to do the second coat. When they installed the vanity the worker put the screw in the wrong place and Nick wanted to just patch it rather than replace the drawer. I also noticed that someone had taken the semi gloss paint from the bathroom and haphazardly painted it on a portion of my bedroom wall. While I was with my father Nick requested payments be wired to him throughout the job. He also wanted a picture that I had sent the wire. When I sent it from the hospital I didn't realize it also showed my account balance. When a disagreement happened on some additional charges he wanted to add after the fact Nick apparently made a comment that the balance in my account showed I could afford the additional money. That money, not that it was any of his business, was to cover the two weeks loss of pay, hotel & car rental charges for spending the last two weeks of my father's life with him. He wanted to charge me an additional fee for patching the wall where the old medicine cabinet was. I didn't have a problem paying for the additional work but the patch job wasn't done well and I wanted it fixed if before I paid for it. That never happened. He also wanted to charge for the time he spent to get the permit. My feeling is that as a licensed contractor he knew the scope of work required a building permit and that cost should have been in his original quote. I did want him to do the second bathroom remodel as I didn't notice a lot of these issues until a couple of months later after many trips to help my mother with my father's estate. Originally he was going to give me a quote then decided after a couple of weeks that he wouldn't unless I past him an additional $400-600. I told him I wouldn't do that unless he corrected the issues I brought to his attention.

I liked Nick; he was nice, but was not always available. The problem being he would always have his workers there, but then the timeline was kind of always off. He was never punctual and I had to consistently call. Like I say, he was a great guy, but the consistency of trying to get him there or getting something done was kind of hard. The work was good, but the quality of work at the end of it was not the best. I live 30 miles away from the house he was working on and I had a problem constantly trying to get him over there; I did not like that. Because he had larger jobs also going on I don't think he does a good job on smaller jobs. It seems like he is more into the larger jobs than he is the small ones. He was a little expensive. He was very professional. When he comes in and gives me the quote and gets the work started he is great, but once he leaves you are left high and dry. All the work got done.

Contacted provider requesting three outlet power sources be installed in a commercial office. Got a response stating that they were too busy to meet. Leaves me guessing if type of work offered was too small. If that was the case, not a good way to do business since I know i will need major upgrade in my electrical wiring in the next coming months.
