The first thing that comes mind is that he knows what he's doing. I'm very happy with the quality of work. The price is reasonable. There was a problem after he put the new part in. As soon I told him of the problem, he came right back and took his time to correct the problem. The only negative is that he was late for one of the appointments. I'm on the more understanding side as I don't think repairmen can reasonably estimate the time they'll finish a prior job. As long as the work is well done, and they don't rip you off, I can live with a little tardiness.

He was prompt. I could see his knowledge was exceptional. The work was excellent. I plan on hiring them in the future for another job.

He is very reliable, honest, and reasonable. He is friendly and I can trust him. He is good with everything.

Nick and his team got the job done quickly and efficiently and when I had questions he made a special trip to address my concerns. I am very happy with his work. I recommend him!

Handyman Elias arrived on time and provided a completely professional installation of a combo master bedroom ceiling fan / light assembly. In addition to being polite and personable, Elias asked questions throughout the installation process re: several personal preference details (i.e., switch operation, visible fanblade side, pull chains useage, etc.) to ensure my complete satisfaction with this installation. The job was efficiently completed with extraordinary attention to detail paid to the clean up process.

Called Nick and explained the low water pressure we were experiencing with our kitchen faucet. Over the phone, he provided several possible reasons why we were experiencing the problem and gave us a rough estimate. He told us he could come the same day between 2-3 pm. He came on time and identified the problem right away and fixed it. He also noticed some outdated knobs on our pipes that needed to be replaced, so we had him replace them. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We will definitely call him again for future needs.

He was responsive; he is professional; he gave me a quote upfront. I would use them in the future if necessary.

I have used him a couple of times. We are pleased with his services. He does good work, responds well to questions and makes the transaction easy.

The whole experience went very well and within a short period of time the appliances were on-line and plans to fix identified problems were made.

Overall the job went well. Nick had other jobs he was completing while starting ours. The job took longer then Nick expected due to unforseen delays. The weather (rain) prolonged the drying time on all areas of the repair, like plastering and the time to dry between coats also we are very close to the ocean and have high humidity. The bedroom, bath and garage walls were fitted with drywall in one day. The drywall was tapped in 1/2 day. We had to wait for it to dry before applying an additional coat and between coats it has to be sanded so it all blends in. This ended up taking a lot of time. The porcelain tile needed a base coat floated to even out the floor and and to allow the tiles to be set in, the tiles were cut and set then they had to dry......a couple more days then the grout needed two applications and drying time. Because this was a small room and bath Nick started other jobs to keep his crew busy. We added additional work to be done and the job went a little longer then expected. Unforeseen conditions were rain, humidity, rotten termite riddled walls and wood. Thank goodness Nick's crew addressed each hurdle and repaired it with little fan fair. Communication is essential. If you were told a crew would be out and none show up call Nick immediately and he should be able to correct the problem. Thanks Nick Dimitropoulos +

Never returned my call, so work could not be done.

Since Nick was not honest in his response to my review, I need to correct a few things he said: 1- Nick stated that we agreed the work was done satisfactorily. This is categorically untrue. We, in fact, told Nick the work was not done to our satisfaction. 2- Nick stated we asked him to fix the garage door for free. This is categorically untrue. We asked him to come back and fix the light sensor after he charged us $67 of labor working on it without fixing it. We since had a real electrician fix the light sensor for $20 labor (we had the part). Nick specifically stated he couldn't fix it because it had "faulty wiring". This is categorically untrue according to the real electrician that fixed it for $20. He said it was a simple job. In fact, it took him about 7 minutes to replace the part. 3- Nick stated "they want stuff for free". This is categorically untrue. We asked him to stand behind his work and fix the light sensor that he already charged us $67 for and didn't fix, claiming it had faulty wiring...see above, this was simply not true. 4- Nick stated "some people use review sites as their own personal ways of attacking hardworking honest businesses". This is categorically untrue. We have written several reviews on AngiesList and they are all good experiences we had from vendors we found on Angieslist except for Nick. We hold no malice. We simply needed to be honest about our experience to warn others. (Previous review) We originally called Nick to repair a gap under the garage door, fill a hole in our drywall in a bedroom, fix a light sensor that turns on lights at night and repair a leaking toilet. The worker came and determined that he could not fix the garage door and that we needed a garage door specialist. The worker then worked on the sensor for an hour and determined he could not fix the sensor. He did fill a hole in our drywall and repaired the leaking toilet. Besides that he spent about ten minutes caulking some gaps outside the house. We were shocked to hear the bill was $428! We were billed at $67 per hour for a total of almost 6 hours! Even the worker said before he left that he felt bad that he was not able to fix the two major tasks and that if we talked to Nick he might send someone out again to fix the light sensor for free. What shocked us even more was when when we talked to Nick about it over the phone afterwards. Our complaint was that the two important things that needed fixing (the garage door and the light sensor) were not fixed. And the things that were done (adjusting a part in back of toilet, patching hole in drywall) were fairly simple and should not have cost anything near $428. We explained to Nick that this was a lot of money for two fairly simple things and that we were not happy with the price. Instead of making any attempt to work with us or even listen to what we had to say, he went on a rant as to how he has many service awards he has won on Angie's List and how we should be thankful because of his quality and that he is worth it. Nick was rude, insulting and really didn't care or listen to our concerns at all. We were calm and patient as he went through his rant and then told him we were sorry he has taken that point of view before we hung up and that we would be expressing our concerns on Angie's List. We will never be using Nick again and warn anyone who is considering using him to do so very cautiously. We have had six different repairmen come over to fix things over the past month because we moved into a house with a lot of issues, and this was the first time we have been displeased. Everyone else we've used have been extremely professional and charged a fair price. And we found every one of them on Angie's list. For handyman work I highly recommend Charlie Mann, who is fair, hard-working, competent, reasonable and does better work than Nick at half the price.

He was excellent. He is a general handyman and did everything I asked him to do. Most of the cost was towards the painting and he had to buy supplies for the painting. He was pretty close to perfect. The price was good too. I will use him again for sure.

I've used him on a few occasions. The prices were very reasonable. With little jobs like I've got he might not be here quite when he says. But, this is because the jobs are small and I don't blame him. I basically told him when he gets a chance. I know he's got a lot bigger jobs too. He has been real good for me when I needed them. It's good to know that I can call somebody to do it. He's honest and fair. The only downside is that sometimes he gets held up, but he does call and tell me that ahead of time.

They came out on two seperate days. Met with Nick D. the owner the second day. Very pleasant and very willing to work within my tight schedule. The first day it was another Nick also very pleasant and accomodating. Great experience. Will recommend highly.

It went flawlessly & I was very pleased with the whole process. I will definetely use him again in the future as well as recommend him to my friends & family.

Graet. He trimmed the cabinetry to fit a new micromave. Looks like it was built in as new. Great job, great price. No mess. I'd recommend Nick, nice fella!

.Nick answered the phone when called. tried to diagnosis the problem over the phone to save time. Also suggested a part I could pick up that he could replace to fix the problem. After showing up to my house and not being able to crawl under the house he was honest, and told me I should call someone who specializes in floor gas furnances. Nick gets and A for being honest, and he also tried to fix the problem. i would definitely feel good and will use his services again for my many projects that need completing.

Nick provided service on two days. He was responsive when I told him that I wanted to get this work done before the painting I had scheduled for the following week. The first day (Friday) he did the small repairs (1 - 4 above). He worked diligently to get the door bell to work when it presented some challenges. The task of embedding the cable was not part of his original estimate, but was something I needed done before the painting was done. The cable was embedded Friday, but a hole was left in the dry wall. He said he would come back on the weekend to finish it and build a small wall for the bifold doors, but did not come or call. When I called him on Sunday, I learned he was sick. On Monday he sent a co-worker who was able to patch the dry wall and complete the wall for the doors. He could not do much more because the painters were there. Nick charged me a lot for this and then the painter charged me more as well because the wall wasn't "mudded". The bifold doors are still not completed. Although the job scope changed, I was charged way more than the original estimate for what he did do. I am extremely disappointed and would never use him again.

He was fantastic and was an excellent worker. I would definitely have him back. He cleaned up after himself. If I could recommend to anyone, I certainly would.

Nick returned my call almost immediately after I left a message for him and he was here the same afternoon for an estimate. When he was walking up to my front door, I realized that he was one of the workers who worked on our kitchen/dining room area ceilings about 3 years ago and now he has progressed to his own business. I was very happy to see Nick again. He is professional, responsible and pleasant to work with. He did a good job removing the acoustics and prepping the ceiling for painting. Later, another worker came to do the actual painting. Nick returned to check on the job and determined that there were some areas that needed to be repainted. He seemed to be very concerned with quality control and wanted to be sure the job was done properly which it was when the painter return for finishing touches. We were very pleased with the finished ceiling and plan on having him return to do the other celiings as each room is being renovated along with other upcoming projects.

I called at least a week in advance to schedule an appointment with "Nick". He suggested the date/time and said it would be convenient because he would be in the area. He never showed. I called him 20 minutes after the meeting time and he had forgotten. Lovely.

was suppose to be just a dishwasher installation, and I was actually trying to spend less than Sears charges. Apparently, the tubing was shot and they needed to purchase additional supplies to connect. The job was estimated at an hour, but turned out to be 3 hours. They reported back status and why the price increase. Nice and professional and got the job done. The only issue I personally had was voicemail box was full, so couldn't leave a message. Nevertheless, a professional crew.

We had a bathroom emergency; the bathroom shower regulator was not working. We had no idea if it was simply a broken handle, or if was a much bigger problem. The matter was urgent since we had house-guests, and were down to one shower for 8 people! I sent Nick an e-mail and a text message. He responded promptly, and he was able to stop by the next day. he evaluated the problem, went to home depot to pick up a part, and let us know that it was a quick fix... just a broken handle. He was done in about an hour. We were very pleased with his responsiveness and professionalism, and will be working with him again for our bathroom remodeling.

Nick was very prompt to contact me after I sent an email about needing handyman services. He was right on time for the estimate visit and quickly assessed what needed to be done. The next day, he provided a thorough estimate, and I hired him right away. Nick had a helper do much of the work, but all was done well and on time. I'll definitely use Nick in the future, as soon as I have any home repairs, tiling, carpentry, etc to get done.
