Very very well. I am rather a perfectionist and was pleased with the quality of the work. Ammar knows his work well and has great ideas. He also listened well to all my wishes and even had a complete refrigerator surround taken down and moved at no additional cost when I was unhappy about its placement. And here's a shout out to Sal and his crew. They were very professional, polite, and, actually, caring. They would say, "This is your home, you should have what you want" and made sure I was happy with each completed project. They are quite a bit above the average contractors crew. Very happy with the results. This work was done in 2015 and I apologize for the lateness of this review. But the results are the same. 2 years later and I am still pleased.

The design was premium and incorporated our ideas. The workers arrived on time and worked consistently each day until complete.

They did a fantastic job! There was extensive plumbing involved which was also excellent. They also installed a heating unit and vent for us which required new electrical wiring as well. The house was built in the 1950s and there was an old window in the bathroom that they removed and replaced with a 36" wide and 12" high window that lets in wonderful light into the room. The whole project took only 11 days with a 3 man crew. They worked every day except sunday. We needed them done by the 5th and they were all finished on the 2nd.

Ammar Maaytah, the president and owner of KCE, was the designer and general manager for the complete job. His work was/is excellent. We appreciate his taste, practicality and attention to detail. If we had it to do over again, we would certainly choose Ammar.

He is exceptional. He uses a very minimal amount of sub- contractors. He has several of his own crews. The communication has been fine, and the primary communication is with Amaar. What he says he is going to do, he does. He is honest, sincere, practical, personable. He is trustworthy and you can't really say that about many people in this business. He is very bright, because he is a designer as well as a contractor. The job he did was incredible. He took a rather mundane skylight in our house, and made it a work of art. We are very lucky to have run into him.

We were impressed with John. He was able to answer all our questions and gave great suggestions. They were very nice and had some great ideas. We still may use them. We are in the process of gathering quotes at this time.

As far as the cabinets go - they did it in a timely manner. But that's as far as I would go. They didn't clean out daily. I had to clean up daily. Their detail work is ridiculous. And when you call them and question it, they become very defensive and then basically try to tell you that. I have two cabinets that don't open properly, with another cabinet. And they basically tell me that's the way it has to be. They've been out here like three times to adjust the cabinets and I think they now have me marked as that crazy lady ( inaudible 01:49.3). I put corner cabinets in and I have the extended cabinets with fold in doors, and the cabinet door that are next to that, was against that folding door. And they basically tell me, well if you open it, this door first and then that door and then it won't ( inaudible 3:12.7). And the only time we saw the project manager guy was when he came out to collect his cheque. There was nobody here daily on the day. They didn't show up for a couple of days - nobody called to say they are not showing up. I would not recommend them. Their price was very good. They were originally scheduled to do my floor, but after fighting them about what small things I had to fight them with to get things done, there was no way I was continue doing anything. I wanted them out and done. I'm not content with them and now I have to find somebody else to come in adjust the cabinet doors for me, because they are not lined up correctly. Now I'm going to have to pay that on my expense, because these guys had come three times and have not fixed the issue. We tried to go back and try to find reviews and stuff, and we were able to get a whole beach house stuff off of them. So I think it would be just as long as you take it as they give it to you, it's fine. The owner came out twice and basically told my husband in one situation - he said, well you could have adjust these cabinets yourself. And I said wait - that all of a sudden became my husband's job to do yours? if you agreed upon a price and you need to say I'm going to this and I'm not going to do anything else, I'm going to assume that OK you now you want me to do it. Like I say, now I have to find a cabinet person just to come out and adjust what they didn't adjust or fix or change, or whatever we have to do at this point now. I felt like they came out to get their cheques, they've got their money and they're done. There was no on sight project manager. Somebody should have been here to see what was going on and question things. When you asked them something it almost became an argument.

He got it done in a short amount of time (about a week). I had holes in my walls and mold, but people were here working every day of the week. There was a bit of a communication issue, but any problems I saw they were more than willing to work with me. They were very honest and up front about fees and there was no over quoting. He asked before charging me for extra expensiveness when they did come up.

Ammar designed & build our dream kitchen listening to all our needs, we took long time to decide on our granite Ammar send us different places for 3 weeks until we completely satisfied, the end result is awesome. We did one bath room with TRUE STONE inspired by Kitchen Cabinet Express showroom model, it turned out very good and we enjoy every shower. We installed brand new A/C, Ammar introduced few licensed contractors for this one and spent lot of time on models and units. We requested bigger 4 ton unit Ammar & Duane did it right and perfect.Ammar and his crew painted entire home like new home with texture, now every room looks and feels like brand new home.I did lot of research for pricing, he is the lowest yet delivered highest quality, some of our selections went wrong and they have to redo they did all of those without an extra penny.

We began by asking about their advertized kitchen remodel for approx. $8,000. A salesman came to our home and took measurements. We returned to the showroom and made several upgrades in cabinets, backsplash, flooring and countertops. We were given an amount and we signed a contract. When the work actually started we heard "That's not included in your contract." We ended up paying a plumber and electrician to do the extra work. As for the work itself, the edges were left looking unfinished on the backsplash, we had to argue or pay extra to get what finishing touches we still needed. We also wanted an invoice for exactly what we paid for the tile, the cabinets, etc. and were never given anything close. When it came time to reinstall the appliances, that was not included in our contract and we had to pay again to get that done. Overall I feel we were taken advantage of because we are women and the salesman and contractor played off each other.
