Description of Work: went under my house to check my heater and all the safety areas that should be checked for gas leaks and efficient operation. I was impressed and would use them again.

Description of Work: Checkup on Wall heater. Wall heater found in good condition and was tested for leaks. Working on normal operation at the time of service.

Description of Work: John came out for an inspection and cleaning. We had an Angie's List big deal coupon for $29. He arrived early, and called first to let us know. He performed the inspection and cleaning and got the furnace in great working order. This was a really great deal, but he treated us as though we were spending a lot of money. He was very professional. The person who set up the appointment initially thought they would not be able to do the work on an old floor furnace, but he verified that they could do it and made an appointment as soon as we needed it. I am very satisfied with the service overall.

Description of Work: The technician showed up on time, and did a thorough inspection of the system. He confirmed that the compressor was low on coolant, and recharged the coolant. He found and repaired a loose duct connection in the attic, and resealed all the connections to prevent any further leaks of heated/cooled air into the attic, and duct-taped some loose insulation back around one duct. Although he spent almost 2 hours on the system, the only charge beyond the Angie's List ad price was for the coolant. I was very impressed with the completeness of the service, which found problems that previous inspections had missed.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the service received from GC. The appointment was set up promptly, and the service technician, Juan, arrived punctually. He performed the inspection and service on our heater and made several, useful recommendations, but did not try to "up-sell" us any additional services. Juan answered all our questions including some HVAC questions unrelated to the services performed. He was courteous and professional. We would not hesitate to use GC again in the future for any heater or HVAC services we may need.

Description of Work: They came out and checked my furnaces to make sure they were ok. I was worried since the furnaces are so old. I was happy that they didn't try to sell me new furnaces by telling me mine were about to fall apart. They did suggest, that due to their age, I should consider purchasing new furnaces. If I decide to do that, i will definitely get a quote from this company.

Description of Work: They didn't fix my ac problem. And they sold me a capacitor that according to the company that fixed the problem was the wrong size for my unit.

Description of Work: The Tech looked at our AC system (did not diagnosed the system), my cousin said that one gentleman had already put in a freon in the past so he said maybe its freon. He added some freon and charged us freon and labor plus taking my $49 voucher I purchased from Angie's list. I would have expected he would give us some credit from the voucher. I guessed wrong.

Description of Work: I set an appointment with Gustavo for July 16 at 5:00 PM. He seemed very pleasant and responsive on the telephone. Unfortunately, he never showed up and he didn't call me to say he wouldn't be able to make it. I have called CG Heating & Cooling several times since then, at different times of the day. There is only an answering machine. I have left messages to call me but no one has returned my call.
