They were prompt, efficient and clean. I don't think they did the cleaning as it was advertised. They were to clean the furnace and they didn't have the tools to make me confident that they cleaned it. I would use them again if needed.

They were able to come out the next day. It was early in the day and the AC was working fine, so I feared we'd wasted a service call. He checked it out and explained that the unit was overcharged and the safety mechanism worked to shut it down and prevent damage to compressor during the hot afternoon the day before. He adjusted the pressure, was calm and professional, and we've had no problem since.

The work was excellent. The crew kept the worksite neat and clean. They completed the work in a day and a half -- a bit ahead of schedule.

The owner, Gustavo, was able to come to my house to provide me the estimate within a few days of my request. He gave me a great quote for a 3-zone system that beat the price of competing quotes for 2-zone systems (the other contractors did not even let me know that a 3-zone system was even an option). Now, not only is the airflow and heat improved to the lower level of my house, the airflow and cooling to an addition to the upper level of my house is also much better.

My house was built in 1962 and had no air conditioning. I got quotes from a few different providers and between the professionalism, willingness to do some things to make it more visually pleasing and the best price I went with GC. I am so happy I did and highly recommend them. All the work was done on schedule, the team was courteous and careful inside the house and the AC is wonderful!

We live in a very old house; so, many things break down all the time. I feel like I don't get a break in fixing things... I have had to hire many contractors. That said, I am so glad that I found GC Heating & Cooling Inc. It is hard to find contractors with integrity and compassion, who will do good work, and provide fair pricing. The people at GC Heating & Cooling provide all these things. That is why I would recommend them to everyone I know and will call on them here on out for all our heating and A/C needs. If only they could provide all my other home-fixing services. Heheh... I feel that I can trust them. Both our A/C units broke down in one week. We did not have a budget for repairs/replacement due to financial issues. I did not tolerate the heat due to health reasons; thus, the A/C units really needed to be replaced. Mr. Cano was very understanding of our circumstance and provided options that worked for us. The pricing was very reasonable, unlike many other contractors who really inflate the price, by thousands!! We were able to schedule work to be done right away, without delay. We chose the Ameristar brand for the AC units and the Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat. We've had no issues with the AC units or thermostat, which were installed. Everything works great and our electric bill has gone down considerably. Mr. Cano and his team were punctual, responsive to our needs/concerns, were pleasant & professional, and were tidy with their work. We couldn't be happier with interacting with them and with the outcome. We were so embarrassed and felt bad, when the bank gave us the wrong info and messed up our funds transfer, which caused delay in payment to GC Heating & Cooling Inc. Mr. Cano and Mrs. Melania were so kind and understanding. We really appreciated it. Given how well everything went, I really do highly recommend GC Heating & Cooling Inc.

The crew, Roberto, Emilio, and Erwin, began work as scheduled and proceeded without wasting any time. They removed the existing malfunctioning and beyond repair system. Along the way, they discovered an unforeseen complication which added to the scope of work, yet Gustavo Cano, the owner, stood by the original quote. The system performs well. We never experienced this level of comfort with our previous system. The quality of work is excellent. Even the city inspector was impressed. We recommend GC Heating and Cooling without any reservation. Rating A+.

The one I had was so complicated, it wasn’t a smart thermostat. He bought very simplified one and I was very happy with their business. He eventually told me I needed a new Furness. They did an excellent job. When I called for him to come I told him I needed a very simplified thermostat and they charged me for the thermostat. It wasn’t much more, I think it was like $50 more. It was worth it because of his labor, it wasn’t bad. The only thing I did not like was he was trying to sell me a new hater. If he didn’t say that I would have given him an A, that was the turn off, when he said I think your heater was ready to go. I’ve had other people come out and they didn’t say anything. He was very personable and very good at what he did. The job got done well and I don’t mind paying if does what he expects to do. It worked and it still work and it is great. The price was fine. The work that he did was an A. He was very professional punctual.

The job went perfect. GC's team was on-time, efficient, and installed the AC/Furnace ahead of schedule. The original sales representative was very thorough, and explained all of our options quite clearly. We required an expedited installation (basically five days max); GC was able to inspect, quote, and install a new furnace and AC within two days.

very well. Juan was ok with my watching and learning from him throughout the visit. He arrived on time, took detailed notes, tightened connections, tested pressures and performance. He was NOT in a rush. Basically went through every one of the items on the checklist while giving tips to me. I was glad my 16 year old unit was pronounced ok and not in any need repair or additional coolant. Result was piece of mind at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this provider.

Gustavo and his team were amazing. They were consummate professionals, cleaned up as they went, and extremely efficient. It was a huge job that they did in one day, all with a smile. One mark of a good company in my book, is how the owner interacts with his workers. It was clear the team had a strong family relationship, that was respectful and trusting. Gustavo also was very fair in his pricing, made strong recommendations given how we use heating and AC, and threw in a number of items for free. I have already recommended his company to several friends. I am exceptionally pleased with contracting with them.

Gustavo quoted the job for me and gave me several options. I could have just replaced the AC, or added the duct replacement, or do the whole thing and replace the furnace too. I think it is rare for a company owner to be so compassionate and intent on solving his clients and customer's needs. I had told him I had some unexpected expenses and this repair had come at a difficult time. That's why he helped with giving me choices. In the end, I decided to replace the whole system. The tenants are delighted with how fast the system works and I was very impressed with everything about my experience. I would strongly recommend them!

The team was great. Spent time explaining the options; we planned the system together (register locations, condenser location, air handler location); and the work was done efficiently. Would definitely recommend this company.

The review and proposal were the most comprehensive of 3 bids that all priced about the same. Staff were patient with my many questions both before and during installation. Once started the work progressed very quickly to remove old ducts and gravity furnaces, then install new condensers, heaters, and ducts. Initial job was completed in 1 week. All staff were friendly, pleasant, neat and polite. HERS testing was included in the price and it passed on the first test. The city inspection process was challenging due to the new electrical service, and repairs were needed before it passed inspection. But the service rep was present at each inspection and he handled the inspector's questions until all was in compliance.

I called Gustavo after reading reviews on this site, He called me back that day and came over the next day to talk about the job, He was easy to talk to showed me pictures of previous jobs and made suggestions for adding A/C to our house. He then talked about the different Condensers that we could get and he gave me an estimate. 2 days later the came and started the job and were very professional , They made the Heater and the A/C much quieter than it was before and it works great. They were very courteous and friendly and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend.
