AC went out on hottest day of the year. Called many places and all were several day wait. GC H&C had a cancellation that afternoon so were able to come out same day. The service tech was professional and gave advice on how to leave more space around the AC unit for better airflow and thus better efficiency.

GC heating and air conditioning are great! I was oringally going with someone else but Gustavo came in and gave me a lower bid and said his equipment was rated number one on Consumer Reports. He didn't pressure me at all and allowed me to take my time and research information for myself. He was correct that his equipment was rated number one. They arrived promptly and were very respectful about keeping everything clean. They moved our our unit from downstairs into the attic space upstairs and did a fantastic job. My husband had wanted the vent in a particular spot but they didn't think that they would be able to get it there because of how tight the space was but they some how managed to accomplish the impossible. He is very particular and he was greatly impressed with them. We had the nest thermostat installed and are loving that feature.

He said that it was all working fine. And then, a few days later, the whole thing went out and I had to call somebody else to come and fix it. I thought that it wasn't really working and he said, "Oh no. You just need more insulation in your house." And then, a couple of days later, there was a big heat wave and it was 96 in my house. So, I went to the hotel for the night and called an A/C guy from a different company. They came and had to replace a part that had been totally burnt out and corroded. So, I wasn't sure why they did that. It kind of felt like a waste of $50. The guy was really nice and on time. That was good. It could have just been coincidental, but it was a little weird.

We wanted our air-conditioner looked at because it was not working properly. We purchase the $47 air-conditioning tune-up "deal". The company came out and went under house and inspected filters and the unit itself. We had just bought this house and they informed us that the filters probably had not been changed in 5 years. They had the filters with them AND the Freon we were low on as well. When they left, our air-conditioner was blowing so much better. It felt like a new house. They were great. Did not try to sell us anything we didn't need and gave us great information as to the condition of our unit etc...... So glad we did this!!!!

Their service is great. Very knowledgeable and courteous. They came back the next day free of charge because something was wrong with the thermostat. They are very thorough and accommodating. I highly recommend their service.

he was very nice took everything offf cleaned it up, checked it out, and let me know what to expect in the near future which i liked so i have a heads up on it and can take care of it before my air conditioning goes out VERY NICE, THANK YOU ,

They were prompt and professional. I was pleased with everything but the extra (pricey!) charge for the refrigerant. I think it should have been included in original price, or discounted, at least.

GC arrivived on time and finished on time. They cleaned up after they finished. The unit has worked great!! Gustavo called in a week to see how the unit was funtioning.

We were very happy with the contractors and he left a recommendation about changing out our filter and a date in which to do so. We would definitely us this provider again in the future.

They did not respond to my multiple requests to arrange the service visit. I had to call them over and over again to get the service scheduled. Then when they finally did say that they came by the house (I do not know if they even came by since I was not home) they said that everything seems OK. And I asked them to let me know what the PSI pressure of the Freon in the AC unit is supposed to be and what they measured when the arrived. I was simply told that is was just fine and that is did not need anything.

Although I did need to have my system checked, my primary objective in having someone come out was to get information and pricing on a new, more efficient HVAC system. I explained this when I booked the servicing online (the service was by way of an Angie's List deal of the day purchase). I explained again what I was looking for when the company called to make an appointment for the service call. The technician sent knew nothing about my desire to upgrade and was not able to discuss new systems or pricing. He did say that someone else from the company would call to set up another appointment. I never heard from them again.

Done the day after we asked him to go ahead with the work. The installer was a nice guy, he listened to my concerns and cleaned up when he was done. Everything looks good and it's cool inside!

These guys are listed as one of the better companies at what they do in our area and they did not disappoint. The repairman inspected and replaced the thermostat. at a price we thought was fair. There was no serious problems they did a wonderful job thank you very much.

Had a great experience with GC Heating & Cooling. Gustavo came out and gave me a thorough estimate with various choices of energy efficient models to choose from; he never forced the more expensive units on me and let me make my own informed decision which was a pleasant surprise. Gustavo was able to work around my pending vacation and had a crew scheduled for me when I returned; the crew had my old unit and all duct work removed and the whole system installed within 1 1/2 days! The crew was very courteous and addressed any questions or concerns I had quickly. The quality and workmanship of Gustavo's crews is also bar none, they use quality materials and it is apparent that they take pride in their work. During final inspection the City Inspector commented on what a great job they did and that he is always happy to inspect their work?and if you've ever dealt with City Inspectors you don't hear that very often. The crew super and the owner Gustavo both came out after installation was complete to ensure all my needs were met and that the work was up to their standards. All in all I would definitely recommend GC to anybody looking for a quality HVAC contractor!!

Gustavo came to our home while we were in the middle of a bathroom re-model and went over our choices to add a unit to our existing ductwork. He did not try to oversell me on a unit as we had already researched and reviewed what was available. We discussed whether we could use existing ductwork (adding an AC, we only had central heating). At first, we only wanted to add AC but as we discussed this further, Gustavo informed us out that our old heating unit would not be compatible with the newer more newer models, because doing that would not provide the efficiency we required. We decided to go with a higher price for both AC and replacing heating with a 14 SEER unit, and scheduled the work. Gustavo's crew came in and installed the AC/Heating unit in one day! They were very diligent, cleaning up every step of the way. They were very professional, installed the filter in my ceiling, so all we have to do is get on a stool and change it, as opposed to going into the attic to replace. Gustavo's crew also changed all the vents in our home to the more appropriate ones for air flow. The unit that we selected is very quiet, right outside our bedroom. We decided to go with a unit that has wireless capabilities with the thermostat, so that we can avoid keeping the air on all day.. and after a hot day, we start the cooling on the way home when in bed at night we can stop or start it with our cellphone. That was a great feature. The unit works like magic. . We are loving being cool this summer. Don't know how we did without it in the past!

GC heating and cooling was always professional, responsive, friendly and provided excellent value. Unlike other installers I contacted, GC did not charge inflated prices for the higher end equipment I wanted to purchase. The system works great and is doing well at keeping the house cool while almost never having to run on the 2nd stage of the system. Did not pass the initial HERS testing, but just some minor sealing of the air intake solved the problem and it passed upon 2nd inspection. Highly recommend Gustavo and GC Heating and Cooling.

Everything about this company was professional, from scheduling to follow-up. They worked hard to earn our repeat business, and it looks as if they have done so.

CHECKED AC UNIT/ INITIAL FEE $79.00 AND DETERMINED THAT THE COMPACTOR WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. REPLACED COMPACTOR FOR $130.00; INDICATED THAT AC UNIT DID NOT NEED REFRIGERANT AND WAS BASICALLY CLEAN. ALSO ADVISED THAT THE TUBING USED WHEN AC WAS INSTALLED (NOT BY GC) WAS NOT CHANGED FROM OLD UNIT TO NEW AND WHILE IT WAS FUNCTIONING, RECOMMENDED THAT SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE IT BE CHANGED TO LARGER TUBING WHICH COULD INCREASE COST SAVINGS, ETC. WHEN ASKED FOR A COST ESTIMATE HE ADVISED APPROX $500, WHICH AT THIS TIME IS PROHIBITIVE. . AT MY REQUEST, INSTALLED NEW THERMOSTAT (PURCHASED BY ME) FOR $50.00 IN UPPER HALL WAY. DID NOT PROGRAM ALSO AT MY REQUEST (DONE BY MY GRANDSON)

Found no problems or need for further service.

He showed up early after calling which worked out great and pointed out all issues and how he was going to fix them.
