Excellence Electric

We spoke initially with Raymond. He came to our house to look at the scope of services we needed and to give us an estimate. He made several suggestions that proved to be excellent advice and met our needs better than what we had asked for. He was very polite and well-informed, not pushy at all. Manual did the actual work. He was careful to put a tarp on our carpet and not to make a mess. The job took most of a day. He seemed very conscientious, wanting to make sure that we were satisfied with everything he did. We were. As far as we are concerned, Excellence Electric is our new electrician. Since we own rental properties as well as a residence I plan call them again for any of our service needs.

Raymond arrived ahead of schedule and came in like a professional. I directed him to the kitchen and the dead outlet under the sink. But after a few minutes of looking he opened the breaker panel and saw the problem was caused by a number of loose connections around the breakers - with charred wires. A potential house fire...! He also spent the time to fix a 3-way switch issue in the hallway. It's clear he has a deep knowledge about residential electrical and I was not surprised to hear he used to be an inspector. I highly recommend Raymond from Excellence Electric.

Raymond promptly called me after the initial request to schedule the service. I already knew what I needed to have done and gave him a laundry list. Manuel spent the better part of a day at my house troubleshooting and fixing a wide variety of problems. He gave me some good suggestions which I took. He also cleaned up any mess that resulted from the work. Manuel was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable about what he was doing.

Raymond arrived quickly and completed the repair. Half the power was out at our home on a Sunday. Great work, thanks.

I called on Wed to setup an appointment and I got Raymond on the phone and he was able to come do the work on Saturday. What I liked was Raymond confirmed the appointment on Friday. The day of the work Raymond came on time, and explained to me what the work entailed. He did an excellent job and was very friendly and very thorough on the work. He also provided recommendations on what I need to upgrade in a year or 2. He did a clean job, and up to code so I am very happy. I was worried since these where outside plugs that they maybe prone to water. The way that Raymond did the work he took that into account and it looks good. I am going to use Excellent Electric again and also recommend them to my friends.

Raymond and his crew are THE BEST! Very professional, thorough, detailed, and punctual. They complete the job "correct and to code" the first time rather than cut corners. In addition, he's very fair on the pricing and willing to offer discounts for larger jobs. I've used his service twice now, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. My advice to my fellow Angie's List members...hire QUALITY and don't be fooled by those who bid jobs low just to get your business. Raymond and his crew are the BEST IN THE BUSINESS.

We subscribed to Angie's List in order to find companies like Excellence Electric! Our newly purchased mid-century house needed a lot of work done immediately. We called Raymond on a Friday afternoon, and he was at our home the next morning to give us an estimate. From the start, it was evident that he was an expert in his field, which instilled me with confidence that he could easily handle such an important job. Raymond quoted me a very fair price for the work that needed to be done and told me that he would handle all of the permit issues with the city (which he did indeed do). Each member of his team was extremely courteous, considerate, and professional. All of their work was top-notch, and they worked around my schedule when necessary. Having purchased an older home, I knew that I would need to find an electrician that I could rely on for years to come, and that is exactly what I found with Excellence Electric!

Manual is the best electrician in SoCal. He is nice, kind and really cares about our own. He is very professional, explained exactly what he was doing and gave us recommendations. As for Raymond, he gave us a great price and was friendly, caring and followed up with us to ensure the work was done and everything exceeded our expectations. This is one great company and we will use them in the future and have recommended them to our neighbors and friends.

He did a great job for us. I was really happy. I thought of using him again. The price was reasonable. He worked with us. He was a great guy. We're doing the bathroom next and he's definitely be doing the work. He came out on a Saturday just to accommodate us with the work. He was on time. I don't have any complaints about him at all. I called him and he called me back the same day. We made arrangements within the week for him to come. It took about two hours and they cleaned up after themselves. It was just a great experience. I wish all the contractors could be that way.

Raymond and his crew were absolutely excellent. The house we are living in had been a rental property for nearly 20 years, so it required a lot of repairs and new electrical/lighting work. Raymond was very professional and fair in all of his initial estimates, and performed the work exactly as he had explained from the beginning. He was also very adaptable if there was anything I wanted done differently throughout the project. We are a young couple with a 3 month-old baby in the house, and Raymond and his company were very accommodating when it came to scheduling around the baby's nap times. This was very helpful for us as new parents who aren't used to having construction done on their house yet. Overall, I would day our experience with Raymond and Excellence Electric was extremely positive. We would have them back again to have more work done on our house in the future, and would highly recommend them to others looking for a talented, fair, and polite group of electricians and lighting specialists.

Raymond and Manuel are both excellent professional electricians. They know how to do it right and they make sure it is done right. They were very helpful at solving all my problems.

Raymond and his brother were excellent (no pun intended). They arrived on time, were courteous, dealt with the city inspector, and all-around very professional. The cost for patching the stucco was a bit high, but they did a great job matching the stucco texture and the paint color, and not having to deal with the hassle of finding someone else was worth it. They always kept me informed and responded promptly to my calls and texts. I would recommend them without reservation.

Raymond came out to give us an estimate on a Saturday (holiday weekend, too). He was very easy to talk to and not pushy about anything. We needed to have new appliances installed (a new cooktop, a new dishwasher, and a new double oven). The appliances that were there were all 25+ years old. The gas cooktop replacement required a new outlet for the electric ignition that the old one didn't have. The dishwasher was hardwired, and we wanted it converted to an outlet. The new double oven required 8 gauge wiring (the old one was 12 ga), and because the new wiring was bigger, it required larger conduit to run all the way to the panel. As this is an older house, the electrical panel was only 100A,. After discussions with Raymond, and based on increasing an already high load (air conditioning, etc) with the new oven, we decided it would be best to go ahead and upgrade the panel to 200A now. While this added some expense, his estimate was very reasonable. The installation took 3 days. Raymond took care of getting the permit needed with the city. His crew was very neat and courteous. Overall, Excellence Electric made the process painless. Our appliances were installed a week later with no issues because all the electrical work was done perfectly.

This is the second major project that we've had Excellence Electric in for. Last year our daughter bought an old house in Santa Ana and the entire house had to be rewired to replace knob and tube wiring. That project went very well. Now the daughter decided to completely remodel the kitchen. The entire room was gutted. The new kitchen design required new wiring throughout the area, overhead lighting, outlets, appliance wiring. The Excellence crew did a great job dealing with multiple trades working in the same area, often in the same space. They also handled requests for changes, some at the last minute, with good humor and professionalism. Their people were there on-time when scheduled and often stayed late to finish up. We will use them again if the necessity arises.

Excellence Electric came game us a free estimate and after they went over the scope of work with us we did not bother on getting another estimate, because we thought the price was very reasonable and boy were we right. Raymond and his crew were on time every time the showed up to work, they were very organize and over all were very polite and is like they were never there because they work when it was convinient for us and they even worked on a saturday. I am very happy with the work and we are on the process of closing escrow on another house and we will be using Excellence Electric again.

We just bought a 1956 house that needed the following done: 1) ground all wires 2) GFI outlets in the bathroom, kitchen, and backyard 3) new fixtures including ceiling fans, chandelier, and bathroom exhaust fans 4) extra wall outlets 5) connect wall outlets to a light switch Ray's crew of two guys took 2 days to ground all the wires then another week to do the rest of the items. They were always prompt and cleaned the work site when the job was done. There were a few mistakes, but we notified Ray and/or the guys and they fixed them right away. The only thing my husband and I were a little disappointed in is that they had to create holes in the walls to get to the wiring (one of the pictures attached shows one of several holes). We were advised about the holes beforehand so it wasn't a shock, but being two busy professionals we still have holes in the wall 3 weeks after the job was complete. We will eventually hire a handyman, but in the meantime, the holes in the walls are an eyesore. Overall, we were very pleased with the job and would recommend and hire him again for future jobs.

I received three estimates before I hired Excellence Electric because first Raymond answer all my questions over the phone and he came to my house twice, the othe contractors did not come on time or wanted to give me a quote over the phone, Raymond pull all the required permits and was on time every day, the crew was cuorteus and polite and when I offered to paid the balance on the bill Raymond said that he would not collect the money until the city inspector sign on the work and that made me feel that I hired the right contractor.

Worst contractor ever! DO NOT HIRE Everything Raymond did was wired dangerously and a fire hazard according to city inspector. Do yourself a favor and skip down to the next electrical contractor. I had to hire another electric guy to completely redo everything Raymond did.

Ray gave me good advise to save total cost and good estimate for the job. He and his crew arrived on time to complete the job in 3 days. They arrived on time each day and explained to me what they plan to do the day. Ray came to the house to meet the city inspector to make sure the inspector approve the work they did.. They are very couteous, efficient and professional. I will definitely hire again when I need the electric work.

I hired them to install the the 200 amp Panel and disconnect at my parents house. They were very courteous and professional. My parents are getting up in age and were very pleased with Raymond and his crew. I would very much like to thank them for there professionalism and respect. I highly recommened Excellence Electric Inc. for any of your electrical needs.

Called Ray and he said someone would be at our home as soon as possible. About 1 hour later his brother arrived to check the problem. He when through the electrical panel and the wiring in the house. Ray arrived about 30 minutes later. Ray and his brother worked for about a hour opening all the non working electrical outlets in the house. They found one of the wires in one of the outlets was broken and sparking on the back of the outlet. They replaced the outlet and repaired the wiring. Now everything is working as it should.

Ray came the same day I called to look at the situation I had. The previous contractor had left loose wires, open boxes, and had even used the wrong type of box for junction. Ray took pictures of all the issues to show me since some of them were in tight spaces away from the hatch. I received a quote from Ray that same day. His brother Manuel came in a couple of days later to do the work. Manuel was very professional and courteous. He explained what he was going to do and when he was done offered to take pics of the corrections. These guys are great! I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and will definitely be using them for our addition in the future.

I love him! He always calls you back right, he always makes the time to come out. He came out on Saturday to dig the ditches for the jacuzzi because he know how excited we were. He is a great guy!

They told me when I called to schedule it. they transferred my deal to Miracle Electric. They were fine and let us know promptly.

I want to start by saying I got 5 quotes from local electricians , all listed on Angie's list with a A rating. I did not go with the lowest bid because I did not feel secure with the company that was the low bid. It was to low for them to do a good job with quality materials. I choose Excellence Electric and was very pleased with the entire experience. Ray who came out to give me the bid also did the work along with Manual. After getting approval from the city of Anaheim for the proposed upgrade the work was scheduled. They arrived on time and were very professional throughout the job. They were considerate in keeping the site clean and the finished job was perfect. I will use them again if I'm in need of a licensed contractor for electrical work.
