Raymond immediately found the problem and explained it to my tenant and myself. He could have easily told us that the entire circuit system needed to be replaced, which would have justifiably been very expensive. But, being a man of ethical character, he said that just replacing the individual circuit switches and tightening the wires would solve the problem. Within less than an hour, he was done and I enjoyed chatting with him as he worked. I took many of his business cards to give to my teaching colleagues and neighbors. Raymond is the epitome of honesty and great customer service!

Raymond and his team upgraded our old 100 AMP service panel to a 200 AMP panel which was prepped for a solar installation. They did a fantastic job in replacing the old unit and patching the exterior stucco to make the job look as if it was original.

We are very happy with the work performed by Excellence Electric. They did an excellent job, were professional, and cleaned up after which was very much appreciated. The wiring in some older outlets needed to be redone and they took the time to make sure everything was wired correctly. It has been difficult finding a good electrician, so it was a relief to find a company that was honest, reliable and professional. We will definitely recommend Excellence Electric to others. Excellence Electric determined that the main breaker on the electrical panel was defective and it needed to be replaced, but after talking to my husband we determined that it was better to replace the electrical panel for future needs since the panel was from the 50's. Excellence Electric took care of everything for us, and coordinated with the city for permits and the utility company. The work was completed sooner that I expected and passed inspection with flying colors. Raymond communicated with us the whole time and overtime we had a question he responded right away.

Overall Excellent Electric does amazing work. I used them for previous work and after they did a great job with the previous job I knew I would use them again for the next job. Raymond was always available to answer my questions and provided great recommendations to upgrade the panel. He recommended I move the new panel to a better location, to support future building. He provided all the support needed and helped me work with Edison to start the process. He actually talked with Edison once I started the dialogue to make sure all the correct information was required. Through out the job Raymond and his team where always communicating with me and letting me know any updates. The overall job was quick and no issues. The work was clean and smooth. He worked great with the city and the city inspector and all work was approved with no issues. The new panel looks great and the new location works perfect. Even did a great job in patching up the work to blend in with my current look. I would recommend Excellent Electric to everyone for any type of electrical work as you will be happy with the work.

Raymond and his crew, Manuel and Ishmael, are truly Excellent Electricians. In every way a homeowner counts as important, they also regarded important. They arrived on time, if not a bit early. They worked non-stop until the job was done. The first day they worked about 10 hours with a 30 minute break. They also worked weekends. Their work ethic was also shown in the quality of their work. Pulling cables and making small holes is a messy job, but Manuel and Ishmael were unobtrusive and made neat holes. They double and triple checked their work and made sure everything was done properly and asked me to check. They went out of their way to confirm that what they did met my specifications. They cleaned up afterwards. At all times they were respectful and professional, not like other contractors who come across as arrogant and uncaring. Raymond, the master electrician, also came to assess the project from start to finish. Raymond is probably the most respectful, sincere and honest tradesman I have had the pleasure of working with. We texted, emailed, and of course spoke on the phone at any hour of the day. He supplied higher quality lamps (LED instead of fluorescent) without even asking after we had agreed on price. He could have insisted that I needed a new electrical panel, but said it was clean and in good working order. His charges for all the work performed were excellent considering the scope and variety of tasks. Raymond also took the time to help me troubleshoot other home issues and was a wonderful resource. He and his crew genuinely look at projects from the perspective of a home owner and worked with me as if they were members of my family. They are an asset to the community and I will absolutely hire them again.

Service was excellent. They responded to our query in a timely manner, showed up on time for the estimate, gave us additional information and made suggestions about the work that needed to be done. Came back and did the job on time, and on cost estimate. They were very professional, and cleaned up very well afterwards.

Raymond and his team were very professional, punctual, well-organized and clean. Raymond is straightforward with how he does things and lets you know if issues arise. He also gave alternative options like installing a central fan instead of ceiling fans in every bedroom or wiring outdoor wires through the attic instead of attaching it underneath the eaves. I liked that he didn't force these on me like a car salesman making a deal. He respected my decisions and didn't deride me in any way. Manuel and his guy (sorry I forgot his name) were very punctual (like 10 mins early) and polite. Before the light installation, they would cover the furniture so as not to dirty them with debris. They would also cover the floor with sheets before setting their tools down. They worked quickly and efficiently; they would also ask if they were in the way. Definitely the team you want in your home. The project took several days in a span of 3 weeks to finish. Raymond is flexible and understanding with your work schedule. He pulled permits and scheduled inspections with Edison (you make the initial call to Edison for switching out your panel). He answers your calls and replies to your text messages in a timely manner. All in all, he made it as stress-free as possible. I would definitely work with him again!

Raymond is truly a professional. I reached out to several other electricians, but most were un-responsive or did not seem interested in the job. Not Raymond! I can text, call, or email him and within a few minutes or hours he will respond. It's great to be easily connected to an experienced electrician. With our project, he went above and beyond to get the city involved in allowing us to upgrade our existing panel to a new 200 amp panel. I had no idea what was involved and it was many back and forth trips, but he never gave up on our little project! He was always on time, which to me is the most important aspect of hiring anyone to do work. He was courteous, along with his employees. Very professional! The work looks great and they had everything back up quickly. The stucco job on the house is almost a perfect match! I waited to review because I wanted to make sure everything worked smoothly after the work was performed. Unfortunately, we had some very heavy rain fall and immediately after our hot tub stopped responded. A quick text to Raymond, who was on vacation, and we had a date scheduled for him to inspect everything. Of course, he was on time and quick to make everything right. He determined the breaker was faulty! It wasn't the rain, just unfortunate timing. Before I could blink he ran to the store, picked up a new one, grabbed some caulking, and had the whole thing wired back up. As a true testament to his professionalism, he did so free of charge. I will always call Raymond and recommend him to everyone I know. Such a pleasure dealing with him and his crew! Happy customers!

After having the electric panel short out in one of our older rental properties, we called Raymond, and he came within a few hours and gave us a very fair estimate for the job. He went out of his way to provide some temporary power to our tenants, who had no power at all. He got started with the job after obtaining the necessary permit with the city. Raymond was able to do the necessary work without disrupting the tenants. He was very easy to work with, and kept me informed of his progress. He got the job done in a timely manner, and the house passed inspection at completion.

It didn't. He took his time to respond to the request, then told me there would be a 3 week wait and he couldn't be bothered to install a dimmer or lighting fixture. Total waste of time. Now I have to wait 30 days to get my money back.

We lost power to half of our house at 9 pm on Sunday, Called this number expecting to leave a message to get things ready for the next morning. Raymond picked up the phone and said he could come by the following morning before I went to work. He was here at 6:30 AM to diagnose the problem. Found it, went and bought the part. Came back and fixed it up by 8:30 am. Charged me for the price of the part and an hour of labor. He also showed me what to look for next time. Extremely responsive, found the issue quickly, replaced, and billed me appropriately. Would definitely call again.

Very friendly, good customer service and kept me up to date on any schedule changes. The stucco repair at the end was also very good and matches great!

Raymond was extremely professional throughout the entire process, from quoting through to performing the entire scope of work. The work was done in a timely fashion, with clear communication from Raymond and his team. I was impressed by Raymond's ability to keep the project on schedule and to follow up on any questions or concerns my wife or I had.

Raymond was very professional and knowledgeable, and reflects his Master Electrician license . His price was the best of 3 quotes I got. His work was excellent, with great rapid communication,. He was on time and got the work done quickly. He was able to set up the 240V line and outlet to charge my current ford fusion energi car, and be ready to charge the Tesla car if I decide to buy one in the future. Reassuring that he has adequate insurance coverage for any work he does. I will hire him again for any future electric work I need done. I am glad to have found a professional, reliable electrician for my current and future needs.

The initial work was corrected right away and we schedule for them to come check out the rest of the house.

How did it go? Excellent! Raymond was very professional from the first email inquiring of his services and throughout all the work performed. The work was done as planned - no upcharges even though a modest increase was justified. The work was completed either ahead of schedule or on schedule. When I bid the job out, and I contacted no less than 4 companies, the only company that showed up when they said they would to review the job AND got me a quote in a timely manner was Raymond. The other 3 companies were all unreliable even after I followed up with them. AND, Excellence Electric did the work they said they would AND stayed true to their word on pricing AND were friendly and professional at the same time. I highly recommend them!

We just bought our first house in La Mirada and found out quickly that the electrical for the entire house needed a complete overhaul! We did our due diligence and got multiple bids for the large scope of work to be done. We decided to go with Raymond at Excellence Electric because he was punctual, nice, communicated well, and offered a great price. I have since referred him to my father-in-law as well as my brother and will continue to refer him to any others in need of electrical work.

Raymond came out the same day as my phone call to him, after I told him that I needed to have a couple of 2 prong outlets changed to 3 prong. After looking at several outlets and generally checking out entire layout of house, he informed me that our house was not properly grounded. He took the time to show and explain to me several ways to proceed, including a "fix" for just the two outlets, as well as a way to make all of the electrical outlets safe throughout the house-which was the plan that we agreed to. In a few days, Ishamel came promptly at the agreed upon time and worked for most of that day, and since there were so many outlets in the house and the garage that needed repair, he came again the next day for many more hours to complete the work. He worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning up as he moved through the different areas of the house and garage, answering my questions in a kind and professional way as he worked.

Raymond took care of all the electrical permits for my electric vehicle charger and my 200-amp panel upgrade. We were not home for most of the installation and every time we came to the house we saw progress, they were clean and very professional. As i told Raymond, they are my electrical company from now on.

It went very well. What began as a simple project escalated into a major one due to new code standards e.g. the meter had to be moved. The provider rolled with the punches and didn't try to use the problem to gouge me. He had to move the box, fell the hole, create a line down the side of the house, under it and go all the way to the garage. Wow.
