Everything went great, I had no problems reaching the office by phone and they were quick to schedule me. Carlos took care of everything just as needed. I would call on them again for plumbing help.

The job ended up being more complicated than anticipated. George's team, especially Dwayne stuck with it for a whole week+, making sure that service was up at the end of each day. When the job was done, it was done right, and at the cost quoted.

I wrote a review about a year and just happened to see “George’s” response to what I had written, and I fear he is entirely wrong. 1) the supply valve was in fine working order and not broken as he wrote. 2) the water did Not need to be shut off to the entire or even part of the condo as he stated. 3) yes, I had mentioned the toilet was leaking in my original review, so of course I must have found a way to make it stop running up a huge water deficit in our California drought prone area. I find the fact that his response is SO defensive while lying at the same time, again telling of the company at large. I now have a new, one piece, water efficient toilet installed (needless to say by someone else), and that is how I know none of what he was saying is truthful, fyi.

Called George Salet and they were able to schedule us quickly. The person who came out was very professional and knowledgeable; he answered all my questions and provided understandable explanations of what was recommended and why. We opted to have the installation done a few days later and the second crew, including Mr. Salet himself arrived on time and took care of all we needed. Mr. Salet spent time explaining what was being done and why to my husband, he showed us how the new heater worked and explained the extra tank system. One part was not available on the day of the service and Mr. Salet came back with it the next day and installed. The process was expensive but I don't think it was higher than others would have been. I have great hot water now and have the heater temperature set much lower than I had to in the past. I am very satisfied with their work and the team.

Plumber arrived in a timely fashion to the scheduled appointment. Wore little booties to protect my floors, although I said it was unnecessary, he insisted. Ok. Brought him over to the Toilet of unknown brand--the complex I live in is 30 years old, and I suspect they were a "special bulk purchase" at the time from a non-descript maker. (Now, keep in mind, my friend changed out the second of these toilet's inner workings with a $40 kit from a hardware store, but it took the IT laymen quite a bit of time--no real tools, no expertise, no general concept of plumbing, etc., so I am confident this is not a difficult or timely process for a professional. Also keep in mind I work in a Decorative Plumbing showroom in Belmont, and know my plumbing in concern to levels of difficulty with Installation.) I ask the Plumber, who is not carrying previously specified as necessary tablet/iPad, two questions: 1) how much to replace the innards of the Existing Toilet, and 2) how much to install a New Toilet (the Cadence One Piece from Icera which is very much like a skirted Toto, with easier installation however). He then tells me to Fix my toilet, I will be charged $500.00! But to install the new one, it will cost $450.00!! uummm... WHAT? This is why I am not hiring them to do either and find their pricing simply BAD. I've seen advertised installation Including the new toilet on Angie's list for as low as $275? WHY is replacing the inside ($40 part remember), costing $500.00??!! And why is installation of new, when I have already purchased the toilet costing $450? I thanked him and showed him out. The company, mind you, is located not 3 mins from my place.... so there is absolutely no travel time necessary in this Estimate. I just found it outlandish that the operator who made the appointment was lying --no tablet/iPad to be found, and that the Plumber was quoting me More for fixing something (oh --I also explained the identical toilet was fixed with a $40 kit so I knew it wasn't intensive), than to install and haul away (I do believe that was included), a new already purchased toilet. The Estimate provided seemed completely Arbitrary and at the Plumber's whimsy rather than "calculated".

Great crew, professional installation. Very clean and thorough. I called because of high recommendations from Angie's List and was not disappointed in the quality and promptness. My only complaint was the price - $780 for a 7/8 hp unit plus installation is high, even, I expect, in SF. In all fairness, it was disclosed before the work and I agreed to pay. But at that point, I'd taken off from work and rescheduled to accommodate. No one seems to quote without an appointment and I did not to have to schedule someone else. The wax ring replacement went well. The technician was polite and answered my questions at various stages of the assessment/repair. The tech also noticed and tightened a loose bolt in the tank while finishing the job. Unfortunately, the associated washer had deteriorated, which resulted in the tank beginning to leak the following day (hence the slightly lower 'quality' rating). This required a follow-up visit. They sent two technicians, who arrived by 9:00am and quickly identified/resolved the issue, free of charge. They kept me informed as they went and both technicians were completely professional in every interaction.

Aaron did a great job in diagnosing the problem with our leaking faucet and Scott installed and fitted the new cartridges perfectly. My wife is extremely pleased with the repairs. Thank you George Salut Plumbing! 😀👍

The plumber failed to show at my home to give me an estimate. The plumber telephoned me to tell me he/she would be late but never showed.

Great. Plumber arrived at scheduled time, got all the work done quickly and professionally. Very pleased with the results.

I removed my dishwasher so that I could access the wall behind it. I had to pull a SF building permit to fix the damage to the wall. Now, the SF building inspection dept. is requiring me to also pull an expensive plumbing permit and hire an expensive plumber to attach the dishwasher back to the already existing drain & supply lines & stick the electrical plug into the existing receptacle. Two days ago, I called this plumbing company based on the good reviews on Angie's List. I explained exactly what was needed. I was told that someone would call me back that same day, but no one did. Today I called again and a plumber was sent over within the hour.. The estimate for at most an hours work was $560 to hook up the dishwasher and approximately $200 for the plumbing permit. Now I know that the permit cost is fixed, or is it? I was told that they pulled the permit online, but don't know if the cost quoted included any addtional fee for pulling the permit. If they go to the DBI office to physically pull the permit then I understand an addtional fee; so this one I don't know. At any rate, I was was stunned at the price! I was told that the fee was based on a job where they did all the work: removing and then reinstalling the dishwasher and their supplying new water supply lines etc. I have all these already and don't need to pay for new ones. I asked the plumber how much time it would have taken him to do remove & reinstall the dishwasher; he said 2 to 2 1/2 hours. (It took me 1/2 hour to unhook and pull out the dishwasher). So it would end up costing me $280 AN HOUR for 2 hours work or $224 AN HOUR if 2 1/2 hours work. Since I'd already done half the work; $560 for 1 hours work?? They did not even have to push the appliance back into place. By the way, the plumber said that the company would not reduce their price based on the reduced scale of work needed. It was a total waste of my time and theirs! I know that San Francisco is expensive, but this seems more like highway robbery! Naturally, I will not be hiring this company.

Problem was taken care immediately. Rafael was extremely friendly and helpful. He even made recommendations on new fixture for kitchen sink. I will call him again to install once purchased. Will use George Salet Plumbing for all our plumbing needs

He was very prompt and very good. Very nice man and good work.

We have open house every year on New Year's Day and we expecting about 75 people to drop by during the day. We were unable to contact the former plumber or anyone else who could come on such short notice. Two of the plumbers we contacted recommended them. The technician showed up at the time promised and worked for several hours. He had to leave to pick up another piece of equipment. He returned with another technician and they worked for another hour and were able to clear the drain(s). He had a party to attend to but didn't leave here until he was satisfied that it was clear. They also assured me that they would be available the next day if there were any problems. To sum it up. Professional service priced accordingly.

He was prompt and fixed the problem quickly.

We had a clog in our sewer system on a Saturday afternoon that shut our whole plumbing down. Dwayne came within an hour and spent two hours trying to clear the line. Steve came back first thing on Sunday morning with heavier machinery and got us up and running by 11:00am. Amazing work all around and both Dwayne and Steve were totally professional, clean, and conscientious. They were willing to answer all of our questions and were sensitive to our worries that we were looking at a huge plumbing problem, potentially. The overall charge was completely reasonable for emergency plumbing services on a weekend and I would recommend them without hesitation.

The upstairs toilet was leaking, which had caused some damage to the drywall in the ceiling of the room beneath the bathroom. When the plumber came to the house, I explained what was happening. While he stood downstairs shining his flashlight up into the hole in the downstairs ceiling, I went upstairs and flushed the toilet a couple of times so he could try to see where the water was coming from. After I flushed the toilet, 2, maybe 3 times, he said he knew exactly what the problem was: the flange was bad and needed to be replaced as well as some of the piping that it connected to. I asked him if it could possibly be the wax seal that was bad and he said no, it was the flange. He also told me that I should call the contractor that did the bathroom remodel 10 years ago because it wasn't done right and that's why I was now having problems. He wrote me up an estimate to do the repairs for $2,500. I decided I should get a second opinion. The very next day, I got the toilet fixed by purchasing a $10 wax seal and paying $100 labor to install it.

EVerything was great. The kithcen facucet handle fell off and the tech rplaced the screw that held it in place in less than 10 minutes. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Plumber was very officiant at his work and had all tthe parts needed on his truck to complete the work. He was here for a couple of hours.

Technician: Steve I live in a studio condo and needed to have my toilet replaced as well as the shut-off valve - then I found out my garbage disposal broke. Steve came out for two estimates and then came and did the repairs on the tight homeowner's association schedule. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. For people who live in little studios you know how it feels to ask someone to fix appliances in small quarters! Steve did the job like a super pro! If you want a great experience with no worries pick this company! Customer service at its finest.

From the first phone call to the check it was a very pleasant experience. we felt well taken care of. as with other great reviews on here price tends to go with top notch service. pricey, yes, but called on a Friday afternoon and had service Saturday morning no extra charge =). also, we signed up on special pricing contract for one year. it saved us $9.00 on the final bill and when we use them again we will have preferred pricing. it was not a hard sell nor was it pushed.

They came in and made the repair efficiently within 20 minutes. They charged a reasonable price. They were nice and clean. They wore booties on their feet. They left the place squeaky clean. They are licensed. The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. They had a coupon online. They also allow you to schedule appointments on line, and that was innovative. I scheduled online one day and they called me the next day. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again.

After calling one plumbing company and being told that they could get somebody out in three weeks (who has a plubming problem that can wait three weeks?) we got a response right away. A plumber was out that afternoon with a good explanation of the problem with the radiant heating system and a quick fix. He will come back to replace a pump that will need to be replaced, but was not an emergency.
