Absolutely Affordable was very flexible and reasonable. He made a service call to my rental property even though it was outside of his service area, and he didn't charge extra for doing so. He did a good job with the repairs, and his fee was much lower than what Sears would have charged.

We called Mark at Abs Affordalbe Appl because our gas dryer was not heating. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and replaced the ignitor and my dryer was quickly back in business! He was prompt and efficient. He and associate Dana were very polite and cheerful and organized. The dryer was also exhibiting a loud squeak for a time before the ignitor gave out. I discussed this squeak with Mark, and he let me know that he would charge me for parts only to fix any possible problems with the new ignitor or make any further repairs on the dryer (such as the squeaky wheels). This promise would be good for the next 90 days. He told me to call him when the noise got to be an annoying problem and he would order the part and come out to replace. We did call him a few weeks later to replace the wheels. He ordered parts and scheduled the repair. Dana and Steven came out yesterday morning and did the replacement. We were charged for parts only as promised! Once again they were prompt and efficient. Very well mannered and friendly, and thankfully the squeak is completely gone! We are very pleased with the service and pricing we received using Absolutely Affordable Appliance Repair. We will most definitely use them again. I was so happy to find this company! The dryer repair was a reasonable price and you can also get a free estimate so if you don't choose Absolutely Affordable Appliance Repair you are not stuck paying for a service call. They had some issues cleaning our dryer duct because we never had it done and it was really clogged. They did the best they could the day they were out and got the dryer working so we could do laundry until they came back the next week to install a new elbow. I will use this company again and again and have passed out Mark's number.

Even though I am a little further away from him Mark offered to make the trip out and repai my dryer for a flat rate. I called several local appliance businesses including the retailer who sold me the dryer and they said that they would charge $75 just for the service call. I also got other estimates for service calls between $55-$135.00. Another local company said that they would not even come out to try to fix the dryer. Since Mark was so willing to come out and do the repairs, I feel confident that he will be able to offer high quality work.

They are not only absolutely affordable but also absolutely wonderful, They are very business like. They confirmed the appointment 20 minutes before they left. They came right on time told me what they were doing every step way. I trust them. I have found the contractor for my appliances. Update after the inital service: I told them it's not working, they came out to look at it again and said that it is working. It was still not working, they said it needs a new control pannel. I had them replace the control pannel for about 250.00 and it was still not working properly. I called back and told him that I need it working as soon as possible and he ordered the part with slowest shipping. He got the part and came to put it in for me finally after being to busy to come out. I told him it is still not working and he is not returning any of my calls. He also required me to pay with my credit card before he would come out to look at the dryer in the first place.

First, this is my husband's account. I normally wouldn't bother him at work to get his logon information but I had such a great experience that I had to give AAAR an A+! My one year old dryer was making a funny nose towards the end of the cycle and had a slight smell. The clothes were dry so I pulled everything out and forgot about noise and smell. Went to dry towels a couple days later to find wet towels after the drying cycle. Mark is timely, professional, knowledgable and just a nice guy. I appreciate him taking the time to explain things and answer my questions. Was able to fix problem quickly and was out the door in 30 minutes. Having borken appliances is stressful but Mark took that stress away. Thank you AAAR!

They candidly recommended us to buy a new one instead of fixing it because this Maytag model tends to have this type of problem again and again. They spent 30-45 minutes and they did charge us a penny. When I offered them some money they didn't take it. No company can be better than this one.

He was very good. I liked a lot of questions since I like to look at things and see if I could fix it myself the next time and he was very responsive. He was right on time and he even called to tell me that he was on his way. He was very smart. He knew exactly what to say and he answered my questions promptly.

The refrigerator wasn't cold, while the freezer was. I had made an appointment with another company that charged for the visit and estimate and couldn't come until Wednesday. Then I learned about Angies List and Absolutely Affordable Appliance Repair. I called them and I experienced prompt, courteous,and intelligent responses. They came a day earlier and came to my home a bit earlier than my appointment time. They don't charge for the service call and diagnosis. If you agree to the repairs, you pay a flat labor charge and for parts used. And they warranty their work. I definitely will refer my family and friends to this company!

Mark came out and investigated a LG French Door fridge that stopped working (the lights worked but it didn't get cold). He quickly figured out that the switchboard had stopped working and he had to order this spare part (I have a spare fridge in the garage so I wasn't in a hurry getting it fixed), and after about two weeks he came our and replaced it. He had a tool and checked that the temperature inside the fridge/freezer fell, and it did. But after a couple of hours the fridge wasn't colder (than those few degrees), so I called him up again and he came out and took another look. Replaced a pump, and the fridge dropped another few degrees in front of our eyes on his handy-dandy tool. We figured that would do the trick but... The fridge still didn't work properly and didn't get colder? So I called him up (again!), he came back in a jiffy and found that freon was leaking (we hadn't seen the wet leaks before so probably it just started) - and he gave me the choice of 1) trying to get a hold of LG and have them to come out and repair the five year old fridge since this shouldn't happen to a "new" fridge (and he also warned me that it would be a "goose chase"), or 2) get ALL my $$ refunded (including parts and labor). So we decided to scrap the old fridge and got every penny back. This is not a story with a happy ending for the fridge, but it is a happy ending because I found a great appliance guy for my next appliance repair. The relationship could easily have gone sour by the three trips to my house, but Mark is truly professional, accommodating, arrives on time and is a super nice guy.

Mark's company is everything the name says it is... ABSOLUTLEY AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR... and MORE. I have used Mark many times over the past year and he has always come through. He doesn't charge you until the job is complete (no matter how many visits it takes), and the service call estimate is free! He exemplifies what all service companies should be.. honest, reasonable, thorough, efficient, reliable, communicative, prompt. I can't say enough good things about Mark and highly recommend his service.
