CMT Window Cleaning

Aside from showing up a little late, it went very well. CMT did a great job on the windows.

I have used this company before at my house and they previously did an outstanding job. This time I used them for my mothers home (much older home). They came and did a very quick job. Unfortunately not very thorough, lots of streaks and smudges left. I had to call them after they had already left. They agreed to return and I pointed out the areas that still needed work. Some of the window sills were still dirty. They told me that the water drops on window did not have to be wiped off, that they would go away. But many did not. For the price it was still a good deal, I might try them again since since I have had 2 different results.

I purchased the Angie's Deal for up to 20 windows to include tracks and sills. Scheduling was easy and fit into my timeline. The house was in a move-in cleaning mode, so there was no furniture. The serviceman called me as he was on his way. They arrived within the schedule time frame. I knew in advance that I also wanted the screens cleaned as well for an additional $2 per screen. No problem. I gave him the Angie's Deal coupon and he informed me "that I was getting a really good deal with this price." I only had 12 windows throughout the house. I saw them take out all the screens wash and dry them. They were all put back in without issue. Windows looked great.....on first glance. The service tech told me not to open the windows for several hours as the tracks were still wet, which I understood. The next morning, I opened the sliding doors and all the windows. Tracks were not cleaned thoroughly and there was still a lot of dirt in the corners. The frames of the sliding doors still had cobwebs and dirt on them. My mistake, I wished I had walked around behind them now and looked at every window!! The window tracks in the upstairs bedrooms were also not wiped clean. I would have given a bad rating, but the window glass itself was cleaned very well. Just the basic details of cleaning the frames and the tracks were missed. All are new windows less than 10 years old. Response to CMT's comment: I know the difference of the felt and the sides of the windows where the dirt remained, There was also dirt left on the outside of the window frames. Sorry, nothing further to discuss. At least the windows themselves were clean and not streaky.

They tripled the price because they miscounted the windows. Also, I was told that they only 'wash' windows, not 'clean' windows. So if I wanted the windows to be cleaned, they would need to charge 10-30 more per window. amazing....just simply amazing!

It was really good. They seemed professional and the window looked really clean. The price was great.

It wasn't that great. They were here for 1 hour. He did mediocre work. He overlooked a couple of springs and just didn't clean them. One of the springs is swinging outside the window. Their price was fine.

I expected the window sills to be cleaned, but some weren't touched and others were sloppily done. As soon as the owner left, I checked out the work and immediately called the office. The owner returned promptly and finished the work that the crew hadn't done. It's too bad that she hadn't inspected the work before she left. The person who cleaned the windows on the inside was pleasant and removed his shoes before entering the house. I used CMT once before and had no complaints that time. The owner wasn't aware that I had paid through Angie's List and asked me for $120 for the job. She explained that she had done work for me before through Angie's List and that the $89 offer was only available for first-time customers. I explained that there was no mention of that in the listing. She was professional in her behavior and in returning to finish the job her employee had left undone. I will probably try another company the next time.

Easy to book appointment. Team arrived on-time. Windows look great. Had one minor mishap and the team was very quick to resolve the issue and ensure I was happy with the service and follow-up.

I bought a deal of the day so I guess only complaint is only availability was during the week when I work and not at convenient times. Maybe because it was deal of day. I work full time so I think I would rather have a weekend slot and no deal. Other than that windows were cleaned fine and in less time than I anticipated.

They cleaned all the windows. They did not clean the tracks. Only took less than an hour. Four people came including the owner of the company.

Even during the arrangement, they didn’t seem like courteous. The attitude of the guys that came this morning was terrible. But their service was even worse. The deal was supposed to clean 20 windows along with track and window sills. I also asked about getting my shutters cleaned, and they said they could quote me for it and I could agree/disagree to use it. They started on the ground floor so that I could see the quality of the work before I paid extra costs. They were trying to count 16 windows as 20.Five of the windows didn’t have shutters, so they quoted $80. They said they only going to use a clean damp cloth. They used a DIRTY cloth, which was the same cloth and they only rinsed out the cloth ONCE. He was basically pushing the dirt around instead of cleaning it. He tried to claim that the dirt was “discoloration” even though I ran my finger through the actual dirt, and I showed it to them. I felt bullied and their attitude was terrible. I did write a check for the $80 to have the shutters cleaned, and it was the worst $80 I’ve ever spent. They were so rude and unprofessional and I would NOT recommend them

Young college men were very kind and professional. They cleaned the inside and outside of 41 windows, including sliders, and side lights in front door. Angie's deal was $89.00 for 20 windows. An added cost of $6.00 per window beyond 20 was charged. I also had all screens cleaned with added charges. They repaired one slider screen for added cost. They were very efficient, polite and excellent workers.

Good job. Workers were responsive to my requests.

They did an excellent job, only did a few screens because they said some of them didn't need cleaning, which I thought was great, it would have been more money for them, but they were honest.

Bought a big deal while owning one home. Ended up selling and buying a new home that has pretty badly scratched tint on the windows. Needed to use the big deal as it was expiring so had them come clean the windows despite the fact that with the scratched tint it's really hard to tell how clean or dirty they are. They did fine as far as I can tell. No complaints, but once again, not really sure how clean they got them.

They came when they said they would and cleaned up after they were finished.

CMT offers Saturday hours every other Saturday and they accommodated my need for Sat. work. They were on time, provided email and text confirmations and completed the work, as agreed. I would not hesitate to use them again. The only reason I didn't score them perfect "A's" is: 1. their pricing wasn't as cheap as others but they were willing to perform work on a Saturday and 2. Despite sending pictures ahead of time and describing the work over the phone, they seemed surprised and perhaps a bit unprepared to handle screen doors rather than windows. In fairness, they handled the job by using some tools they had in the truck but I think the interval between when I booked the job and them coming out, they forgot what exactly needed to be done.

Everything about this experience was seamless and professional. They sent an email the week before as a reminder and called the day before confirming the time. They were in and out and the windows sparkled. Said if I found anything not to my satisfaction to let them know and they would come back and rectify it. They warned me ahead of time that the mullions would be more and covered all of the other issues before they came so what I got was what I was expecting to pay. It was all good

CMT Window Cleaning--Who likes cleaning windows? Not me! And I have a LOT of windows, so I contacted this company, the appointment was made, and they came to my house and just went crazy on my windows. VERY nice people, and they gave me several options for the cleaning. They can clean your screens, clean out all window tracks, and give your windows an acid wash if you have hard water spots on them. Each of these options come at a nominal fee--I opted for the acid wash and my windows just look great! My house is a little over 900 square ft and it took them 45 min to an hour to get it done. Very cheerful and professional people. Highly recommend.

We canceled because for each window with grid-pane sections, it was going to cost extra $ for every square of pane, and every window in our house has the grid-panes. It would have cost us a fortune.

CMT were very polite and friendly. Their service was quick. They did not have enough fly screen to finish the job so they arranged to come back and do the screen on another day. When they were rescreening the larger patio sliding door, they accidentally put a hole in it but were quick to tell us and said that they would return to redo it - which they did.

The only real disappointment was they were not careful in taking out or replacing the screens. Two of my screens got bent to a point that I was forced to replace them both. This adds cost to the job. This was the second time I had them out. First time was last year. I'm now tempted to go and try another company. Companies need to be cognizant of these sort of things.Last year I used them through an on-line deal. The price was more but not excessively more. It was good until they bent the screens.

The provider was unable to get me scheduled within a reasonable amount of time, which is why I have requested a refund on the deal. It seemed very unorganized and was not a good or professional experience.
