 + 1 moreThe job went extremely well. I called around 10am and they were able to send somebody out the same day. The appointment was for 4pm but the plumber called around 2, indicating that he was in the area and asked if it was okay for him to stop by. It took him less than an hour to identify the problem (seized compression rings) and install the new valves completely drip free. Thanks to Brea/Orange County Plumbing, I was able to have the vanity installed that same day. It saved me a whole lot of headaches, downtime, and trips to Home Depot.
Description of Work: While installing a new bathroom vanity I had difficulty with the 50-year old shut-off valves. No matter what I did I could not get them to stop leaking.

Description of Work: We needed a new toilet installed, and the expedited the transaction quickly, efficiently and professionally. I would hire them again. They also made recommendations for future repairs or installations regarding the toilet since the home over 40 years old.

 + 0 moreSomewhat expensive at >$350 for a water heater removal that took a total of ~45 minutes. The heater was pre drained and cooled. Plumber used channel-lock pliers to loosen all fittings resulting in gnarled surfaces; the proper tool is an open-end wrench or an adjustable (Crescent) wrench. I was responsible for the bill but this work was subcontraced through my prime contractor. I was very disappointed when the BP manager refused to discuss the charge amount with me over the phone even when my prime contractor suggested I should call B/OC Plumbing about the pricing inquiry. Got a licensed plumber to quote $150 for the reinstall. We usually have options where to spend our money and I choose to avoid spending money at this business in the future unless they make improvements, which I hope they do.

 + -1 moreVery responsive, sent someone out within 20 minutes of my call!! Very professional, neat. The technician introduced himself (Tyler) and took his shoes off at the door. Went straight to work (no chit chat or delay). Use a plumber's snake to clean the drain. He had a difficult time getting it through the trap, so had to go on the roof to clean it out. Cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Price was a little high, but considering the prompt and professional service (we had company coming to stay), it was worth it. Drain runs freely, better than it has in years.

 + -1 moreIf they are NOT honorable with small stuff, imagine what they are doing to you with bigger jobs! The crazy thing here is I have a leak in our cold water pipe that is in the foundation that is a much bigger job that needs to be fixed. I am looking for a company to do that, but using the shower to find a good plumber. Look somewhere else for an honest, reasonably priced plumber.
Description of Work: I communicated with the company to fix a simple (minor) shower drip. They sent me a quote " the service call would be from $100.00 - $150.00 plus parts." The parts are less than $100 (probably less than $50) and when they got here they quoted me $350 for a simple leak. They lied. I told them the quote and the plumber Jesse on site said they can't do it for the quoted amount.

 + -1 moreCompany responded with a service person very quickly (a few hours after my initial call). They person came, performed the work, informed me that the existing shower valve could not be repaired, and so had to be replaced. After I gave the OK, he replaced the shower valve with a new valve, which involved cutting a hole from a closet to gain acess to the valve. He installed a new access panel over the new hole in the closet wall. The cost was high but not outrageous, and the quality of the work was excellent. The jobs were both finished in a few hours. Two months have passed and no leaks or other problems are evident. I will call on this company again without hesitation.
Description of Work: This company responded quickly to a request for two plumbing repairs at my home. They replaced an old shut-off valve for the dishwasher, and they replaced a leaky shower valve.

 + -1 moreFrom the professional person who took my call to the completed project took a total of 3 hours. The technicians (Andy and Dennis) were prompt and very courteous. They gave me an estimate within 15 minutes and when I aksed when the work could be performed they both immediately said right now. The only delay was getting the parts which took about 1/2 hour. After the project was completed they thoroughly cleaned up and answered all of our questions. I was completely satisfied with the work and the employee who perfomed it.
Description of Work: Replaced a rusted out cast iron drain for the pool used during back flushing.

A very large water heater, a new recirc pump and all of the associated venting, piping, valving, etc. They showed up on time and did a great job. The price was not the lowest, but it was close and I was confident they would do a great job. I enthusiastically recommend Erick and the Brea/OC plumbing team. ocplumber.com We've already had them back for other services.

Description of Work: They did a nice job with the work they performed, however, the original charges of $455.0 for their mostly labor services was very, very high. It was only after I called the manager Franz several times and complained that he agreed to give me a $96.00 refund. I would recommend this service provider only if you get a price quote before the work is started. They changed out 3 old outdoor faucets, replaced an older toilet with a new toilet I supplied and disconnected a leaky water softener. It took Dan the plumber less then 2 hours to complete our services. Again - good quality work......just get a quote before you have any work done.

 + -1 moreRobert came out to out home and gave us a estimate for repairing 3 very old valves in our bathroom. The estimate was very resonable and we proceeded with the work the same day. Robert got right to work and with 20 minutes let us know that he would need to leave to get the replacement parts as he did not keep parts of such a old age on his truck. He was gone a very short time and he returned and completed the job. Robert did an great job. Brea / Orange Plumbing is now the only plumber we will call.
Description of Work: Replace the hot, cold and shower/tub valves in our bathroom.

The work was high quality, and although it wasn't cheap, I also felt that I was not be gouged. The plumber recommended some further work and I will not hesitate to use this company again for that work.

Description of Work: They were prompt and courteous. But extremely expensive. Charging me $1500 to change one leaking pipe about 15 feet long (I assume, as I was not present during the work) connecting water line from the house to the street. . They did call and leave several massages for payment andI senr them a text massage to send me an invoice describing the exact work performed, but have not heard back. Initially I thought he said that he may have to dig up back house line too to see if there was a leak there and probably fix that too.. I did advise him that the leak was limited to front house only. Which was correct. So he should have adjusted the price accordingly. Because he did not have to dig up back house or do any repairs there. According to my tenent he was about an hour at the site to complete the job.
