Description of Work: Two men came out. They said my air conditioner had a leak. They could fill the freon for $495 or look for the leak which would be $475. They could not tell me if either would work. I just felt like they were not legitimate from minute one. I paid the $100 service call and asked them to leave. Today, about a week later, I had another company come out and add freon along with something that will hopefully fix any small leak. They also added freon. The total price was $175. I think the biggest difference was communication. It felt as though the second company was trying to do something to help me for the lowest cost possible. Brea/Orange County Plumbing gave me very little information other than to tell me either direction would cost me nearly $500. I just had a really bad experience.

Description of Work: Responsive, showed up on time, quickly after my call. As a courtesy adjusted my shower flow control, provided a price replacing leaky foulest, run copper line for new hose bib and installing water line to fridge ice maker. I thought price was really high. I fixed the faucet myself, haven't done the other work yet.

 + -1 moreThe gentleman who came out was on time, very courteous & worked very hard, since he had to cut a hole in the dry wall behind the shower to get to the pipes. He also had to cut the tiles on the wall that the fixtures were being installed on. Did a beautiful job; cannot tell that tile was ever touched.
Description of Work: They installed a replacement for the existing shower fixture I had in the master bedroom. I have used this "Brea" company for many years, since I have lived here for 33 years. I think they are a little on the expensive side, but am happy to use them because they do good work, have been in business a long time in my city, and know where to find them if something goes wrong----which it never has. I trust them & appreciate their professionalism, as well as their knowledge. Guess that is worth a few extra dollars.

 + 1 moreJust moved into a vintage 1964 home yesterday. Next morning all the toilets and bathtubs in the house were backing up! Called Eric Sun from Brea/OC plumbing on the phone late Saturday night after wasting the afternoon waiting for a plumber from DrainCo who attempted to remove the clog, DrainCo found the clean-out to the street, but couldn't figure out where the main clean-out was for my actual plumbing through my house. He keep saying I needed a two way clean out installed and the insurance wouldn't cover it. He wouldn't even take a snake to the toilets! On the other hand Eric was great, I called as soon as DrainCo left and he stopped by at 7:30pm that night after his last job. He figured it out in less than 5 minutes and a half an hour later he was done and leaving my place for home. Best Customer service in OC! He indicated that if I had any further problems call him 24/7. I'm in Fullerton and I now have a plumber!

 + 0 moreTheir price was the same as everybody else. However, my husband chose them for the quality of the work and not for the price. They were most willing to give us references. They took just three days to complete the job. They were quick and were really very nice. We haven't had any problems with the plumbing at all. When a water main burst close to our house and was repaired, some of the gravel went into our pipes and clogged our pipes. They came over and took out the gravel out of the pipes and fixed the problem. My aunt uses them for her apartment now.
Description of Work: The plumbing company removed the old plumbing and put in the new plumbing for our entire house in March 2008.
