Accuracy Plus Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: I thought I bought a one time visit of $48 for General Pest Control, only to find out after speaking with them that if I wanted to do a one time visit, it would cost an additional $195. I don't believe that was on the advertisement. Thanks.

Description of Work: I purchased a renewal maintenance contract for termite control at our residence. Approximately two weeks ago (early September 2011) (and within the warranty period of coverage) I discovered the presence of new subterranean termites which had died in a bathroom and notified Accuracy Plus of this problem. Every time I tried to call (at least three attempts) no one answered the phone and I was forced to leave a message. No one called me back, and, because of the urgency of the problem, I was forced to spend an additional $325 for another company to come and do work that was supposed to be covered under my warranty with Accuracy Plus. They (Accuracy Plus) finally got back to me after my new provider had satisfactorily performed the services, and in their ( Accuracy's) own defense attempted to justify their inactivity by telling me that my contract was going to be running out soon, anyway. They gave me the impression that they didn't care they breached their agreement with me, and that they didn't want to perform the services at all. Very unprofessional attitude and very bad business practices. Their indifference in my case was not justified after all the money I spent with them. Really low class! Find another company that will stand by you and do what it contracts to do. There are many other service providers that are far more reputable.

Description of Work: Made in-person visit to facility, requesting quote on bee swarm removal house exterior and attic opening, and asked about procedure. Was told bees had to be captured and removed by county regulation, so arranged for estimate. The field service person they recommended for this service, called and in that call we learned that he would only exterminate the bees, so we cancelled job without continuing.

Description of Work: I called this company repeatedly about pest control/rodent eradication over two weeks in January 2011. I played phone tag with"Clayton" and never achieved an actual conversation, quote or estimate. This is crummy service.

Description of Work: Treated outside of house, attic spaces, outside trim and eaves and one interior wall for termite infestation and also an area in my eaves for carpenter bees. Used Borax treatment. Workers were prompt, polite, clean, and respectful of my property. They patched holes they had to make very well and painted, with my paint. Price for the job was very, very good when compared to other estimates. Estimator was also professional, informative, and not pushy.

Description of Work: We had an animal of some sort running around beneath the house and asked Benevolent/Accuracy Plus to come check it out. Joe came to check for animals beneath our house as we had heard scurrying. He said there had been an animal there, but it was gone. We learned that with proper blocking of a small side door, there was no way the animal could get back in, and he assured us there was no entry from beneath the house to get in the house.

Description of Work: We have yearly termite problems, and I refuse to tent, not only as an inconvenience, but because of the chemicals' effects on my family and all cellulose-based items, including paper (books, photos, art). Accuracy Plus did a detailed inspection and with minimal drilling (and 90% on the wooden eaves outside our house), they injected a boric acid-based foam that seeps down into all the wood in the frame of our home. They guarantee it for 2 years; any work during that period is free.
