It was a great experience, from estimate to work completed. Rick and his crew were very nice to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Really good people. I will be honest, if I was replacing my rain gutters I would use them. They do repairs but I probably need them replaced. They have been around for a while. They are about par with price. Roofers also do rain gutters, you know while you're under the hood you might as well get it done, and they do this by linear foot. But this company is right below that but competitive. They are not so cheap that you're like wow I should use them. Everybody in the southern California area uses the same manufacturer. Honestly you really can't go wrong with rain gutters. The guy was pretty good and his quote was actually detailed. I found this company through Angie's List and I called them. I also called them because I found them somewhere else. I left a message but I have called so many contractors that I just wait for them to come back to me. He called me four days later. It was funny because he happened to be in my area and I got the message and he just showed up in my door. It rained like crazy and they were super busy. If I called him in the middle of July he would probably not have that much work. I never asked him to come out and then he just showed up.

I called them and it took them about 2 weeks to get back to me on the phone. I think I left 2 messages. Two weeks later they called and said they would come by and they did and gave me an estimate. I did not pursue it because I did not feel comfortable dealing with somebody that had waited that long to return my call. I paid someone else a little more that was a little more responsive person. He was a decent guy. I don't have any qualms against him. I just didn't like not having my phone call returned within the first couple days. They could start returning phone calls withing the first couple of days. I did like that he did walk around the house and look at the gutters. Their website is not operational at all. All it is, is a blank splash page and it says it's coming. I suspect it has been like that for awhile. That does inspire confidence quite honestly. They have such good reviews on Angie's List and then you begin to wonder. You usually cross reference the reviews on Angie's List with Yelp reviews and on Yelp they just don't have that many reviews on them. So that is quite extraordinary. Just on experience they other company almost called me instantly. Their price was good. I am comparing them to the other guys. Some of these guys are really difficult to deal with. I mean they write estimates and they don't have customer service skills in their background. So when you ask them questions, they kind of give you the wrong answer or they are not sensitive to what a home owner is thinking. For instance, I asked him if he would be here to supervise the work and he kind of snidely told me that if he was not out giving estimates the guys would not be working. So the question to that is no he would not be here. Instead of saying no I can't be here because I have to go out and give estimates, he answered that way. Which I thought was somewhat rude. Again it's from someone that does not have customer service background. Customers don't want to listen to the politics of why you can't be here to supervise the job.

Work was satisfactory. However, the slope was off on one gutter causing water to pool. Rick had his men come out six months later to make the necessary adjustments. Responsiveness was excellent, nice to see a company stand by their work and make repairs when needed.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I chose the straight face gutter profile because it looks so clean. The only seams are in the corners, unlike the ogee profile which has 2 seams at each corner, so it looks great. My old gutters were never quite right installation wise, since there weren't enough spikes to hold up the gutters, they were constantly pulling away from the house. Above & Beyond put a spike in every other rafter tail, and they also screwed together the downspout sections so they won't come apart like the old ones did. Great installation.

Can't say enough good things about this company. Rick was early to the appointment, offered suggestions, and squeezed us into his busy schedule to accommodate our schedule. Crew showed up on time and did a great job. Great company to work with and I highly recommend.

Rick went to the house, which is occupied by a tenant. Called me, the property manager, to report that a corner of the rain gutter needed replacement and the whole rain gutter cleaned out. A fair estimate. The appointment was made by phone with the tenant for noon the following day. The tenant took off work and waited from noon to 2:30pm, no workman came. When I called Rick, he said his men did the job in 1 1/2 hour and the dog was going crazy during that time. My tenant reports that they do not have a dog. Finally, Rick determined that his workmen had done the job at the wrong house. I need to point out that, for an outdoor job, it's common courtesy to phone the customer or knock at the door to announce the workmen had arrived; if they or Rick had done that, they would have discovered their error right away. On the third day, the workmen went to the right house and did the job. Their workmanship looks good. However, after they departed, the tenant found that debris and mud cleaned out from the gutter were dumped in the bushes behind the house, instead of being properly placed in the garbage can or hauled away.

EXCELLENT service; I received a personal visit from the owner. He gave me a reasonable quote to replace gutters, I accepted the quote and he had the work complete within days. Very professional, he didn't ask for any payment until the work was complete and I was happy with the work.

The owner, Mr. Rick Spink, was extremely patient with us. He held to an estimate that was about one year old although we gave him an opportunity to re-estimate. He came to the house a couple of additional times, per our request, to review alternative locations for the downspouts and for color matching to newly painted exterior fascia and walls. Rick always responded quickly and professionally to questions. If there was any lag time, it was because he was in the middle of El Nino responses; I took that into account. Eduardo, Rick's foreman, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Before installation, he provided a very informed suggestion on relocating one downspout so it became inconspicuous. We found Above & Beyond here on Angie's List and could not have been more pleased.

If all I had to comment on was the work provided in September, an A would have been my overall grade. The work was great, the guys were professional and even offered to return and adjust my downspouts to go into my rain barrels (that hadn't arrived yet). However, I called back in late October/Early November to have additional gutters added and have them complete the work they promised to do. I was told I would be called back that day. No call back. I tried again a few weeks later and explained no one had returned my call. I received an apology and was told someone would call me that same day. No call. Now, I understand they are busy and I was not seeking immediate service in getting work done, but a call back, even a week or so later would have been fine. I decided to give them one more try about three weeks later. I explained I was not a new customer, but a return customer trying to give them more business. I understood they were busy but would like to at least be placed on the list for work to be done when they were free. The same nice women apologized and told me (again) someone would call me back that day. Well, three strikes and you're out. I'm a patient man, but I get the hint. Only because of the treatment they gave an existing customer do I give them such a low responsiveness rating, and the punctuality and professionalism ratings are not reflective of the actual work they did, but of my overall experience with them. Even though I know El Nino is causing a great increase in concern about rain gutters, it's still baffling to be so completely ignored by a former customer.

I was very pleased. When I first spoke to Rick, he was in the area and went to my house to leave a quote while I was still at work. (Love a contractor who knows what to do and doesn't require me to take a afternoon off to meet them.) He left a quote with a color chart. The price was fair so I called him the next day to schedule. In the meantime, I took the color chart to the paint store and bought paint to match. I painted my eaves and they came out to install the raingutters just 2 weeks later. They look amazing and they match perfectly. The installers were very friendly and fast. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The project went very well. Installation crew showed up right on time and were done in less than 3 hours. They did an excellent job and the timing was perfect considering it rained the next day.

Rick returned my call quickly and came out the same day to give me an estimate. He helped me select the color that best matched the trim on my house and said he could arrange the installation within 2 weeks. Within just a few days I received a call that if it was convenient for me, his crew could come out the next day as he had a cancellation. I was given a time and the guys arrived right on time. They were courteous and professional and quickly went to work after confirming the gutters they brought matched the color I had selected. Once they completed the work, they cleaned up the area and I was impressed that not only were none of my plants disturbed or damaged, I did not find any debris from the installation. A couple of days after this job was done, Rick called to be sure I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend Above and Beyond Rain Gutters.

Rick came out and gave an estimate. I called later that day to accept the estimate and set up a date. The workers came a little later that expected but the temperature was over 100 so working a little slower was surely acceptable. When the came they worked quickly and efficiently. The gutters match our house trim perfectly, from the street they are barely noticeable. I am very happy with their work and would hire Above and Beyond again.

Rick was very prompt and responsive with my inquiry. Came out for an estimate (with an Angie's List referral discount) and the new rain gutter and downspout were installed the next day. Lots of color options to match your home. Would recommend.

Rick came over to give us an estimate and talk to us about the project. His crew came by to install the gutters a couple of days later and everything went perfect. They were all very professional, punctual and careful with surrounding structures and landscaping. They did the job in a timely manner, and now we are very happy with our new gutters.

I first contacted Above and Beyond in November of last year when I was seeking estimates for installing gutters. Rick came out and gave me an estimate for the job. He quoted the job and gave a combination discount for Angie's List as well as a Senior discount. For various reasons I did not follow through on getting the gutters at the time. In late March I called them to ask if their estimate was still good and was advised that it was. I requested Rick to come back out as I was not sure the colors I had chosen were what I wanted. Prior to Rick coming back out to finalize the order I noticed that one of the fascia boards where the gutters were to be installed was rotted. When Rick arrived he indicated that his installers would be able to change out the board and paint it if I had the paint, which I did. They would do this for a slight additional charge to the original estimate. I agreed to this and also changed the color of the gutters at the time. They returned to do the installation in I believe was 4 days. When they did return, I discovered I did not like the color of gutters I had chosen. The installers contacted their office and were able to get the color of gutters I wanted and were able to go ahead with the installation that day. Workers were very professional and clean, left no debris. A few days later I decided I did not like the way the transition from the gutters to the downspout was done (it was a 2 color job) . I contacted Rick and he indicated he would take care of it, no questions. The biggest problem after that was me being available for them to come back to do the change. I can't complain in any way about the price, workmanship and willingness to accommodate what I wanted. I would highly recommend them.

They were on time, did the job quickly, cleaned up well afterwards. My only disappointment was that the owner was unwilling to tackle a place under lattice patio cover. We had to Gerry-rig something on our own, which is working, but I had wished he would have been up for the challenge...

The team was on time, and knocked it out in about two hours. One gentleman even went on the roof and he said it looked really good. They were very kind, efficient, and clean. They were able to accomplish things that other companies were unable to do. I would highly recommend this company.

These guys are awesome...great work very professional and clean.....You can tell these guys are pros...these guys are the best. Polite and clean, my rain gutters look great....custom made for my home you cant buy these at home depot. I picked 2 different colors from about 20, down spouts to match wall colors, gutters to match trim color. Thanks guys!!!
