Gutters on much of my 2,500 s/ft, 2 story home in Irvine. Chose them after getting two quotes. Great reviews on Angie's was a big factor. Generally I don't take the cheapest or the most expensive. Rick, the owner came out to quote the job. The cost was commensurate with another quote I had but Rick was very helpful in explaining the process and how to best choose the downspout locations, etc. It made sense and his knowledge of his business came through in our discussions and his advice. The job they did was excellent and it looks terrific. One of the real nice features is that you can now match the colors you need...the eve color as well as the stucco. In my case, the particular white on the facia boards and the beige stucco was matched just about perfectly. This is a huge benefit as that paint is baked on and should not need painting.The job was finished in a few hours and the clean-up was handled perfectly. They even hauled away my old gutters that the painters had removed for me when they were doing the exterior paint on my house. I had not thought to ask them to do that but they simply did it as routine. I would highly recommend them. In fact, my contractor on my remodel was so impressed that he wants to use him for their customers. Thanks, Rick!

Scott came out and gave me an estimate while I was at work. He left the estimate at my door. We discussed the details over the phone and setup an install date. Scott called me to change the date which was not a problem. It rained that week and it probably messed up his schedule. I did get another estimate that was a little lower but Scott seemed more reliable so I went with him. The work was completed while I was at work and everything looks great. I don't expect to have any problems when it rains. My experience was very good overall even though I have never met him in person.

I called and met with Rick for an estimate and we discussed my concerns regarding proper drainage ,design, colors, etc. He made some good recommendations, and we agreed upon a price and scheduled a date for the installation. I was not home when the work was done, but was happy to find the work done to my satisfaction, and the job site was left clean.Thanks Rick!.

After making an appointment for an estimate, he arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He did a thorough walk-through, asked several pertinent questions, and made some suggestions. I felt the estimate was very reasonable and I was quite impressed with the reviews from other Angie's List customers, so I hired him on the spot. The discount coupon offered on the company's listing was a great incentive. He helped me choose the right color match, and set a date for installation within a week (another good impression!) The crew arrived right on time and got to work right away. They were very polite and clean. They needed to make an adjustment on the location of one of the downspouts, but worked with me to find the best solution. They were finished in about 4 hours and left everything very neat and clean. Family, friends and neighbors have commented on how nice it looks; the color match is great. This was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend this company . I appreciate their punctuality, friendliness, and professionalism.

I called Above and Beyond for a quote. Rick came out the next business day and gave a fair price. He had his crew out to install the rain gutters within 48 hours. Highly recommend this company.

I called Above and Beyond Rain Gutters and set up an appointment with Rick. He came out within a day to give me an estimate. He went around my home with me, showing me where he would place the new rain gutters. He also went over the colors that he had available. He gave me an aluminum material color brochure, and he explained that I don't have to use all one color. He suggested the downspouts would blend into my stucco and brick nicely by utilizing the different choices of colors he offers. He then drew a diagram of where the gutters and downspouts would be placed and left me with the diagram and estimate. Rick was very professional and quick in providing me an estimate. I explained to Rick that we were getting our house painted, and that we were getting paint job estimates and that I would let him know. We were able to get our house painted a week later. After speaking with my husband, we decided that Above and Beyond met our needs for rain gutter installation. I called them and let Rick know that the paint job would be completed by the end of the week. He set up a day the following week to have the rain gutters installed. The workers came promptly at 8am and by noon had the job completed. They were very thorough, friendly, and they showed me how the seamless gutters were made. They cleaned up before they left. I probably will not know how well the gutters work until it rains, but I expect if there are any problems, Above and Beyond would be quick to fix it. The colors match nicely and for rain gutters, they look very nice. I know they will save my newly painted home from rain damage in the winter. I would highly recommend them.

Rick, the owner of the company came out to give the estimates. He was right on time. The estimate was approximately $100 lower than a competitor's quote. Rick was very professional in every way. The work was done approximately one week later. His guys were right on time and also very professional. We had to leave for the day but came back to a completed job. I walked around and inspected the work and everything seemed just fine and looked great. Of course, we don't know how the gutters work until the first rain of the season but I'm confident that they'll perform just fine.

Rick came out the day after I called and gave me a quote. He arrived on time and I had the quote within 10 minutes. We looked at color swatches and Rick made notes of the color I wanted. We had only about 60 feet of gutters that needed replacing, and one down tube. I called Rick back later that day to set a time when the work could be done. He was able to fit me in within two working days. A crew of two workers arrived on time and had the entire job done within 1.5 hours. The results look great, the colors I requested match nicely, and everything went smoothly. The true test will come the next time it rains, which may not be for a while, but I'm sure everything will be fine.

After getting my house power washed a section of gutter started to leak (water spilled over creating a pool of water on the ground). He renailed it to the house but it still leaked. I called Rick at Above and Beyond Rain Gutters and he came out within 2 days and looked at the gutter. He said he could fix it and I didn't need to have it replaced. It only took about 45 minutes to re balance and fix the gutter. I was very happy with the work.

This was an excellent experience for me. Called Rick who was available to meet with me the next day. Showed up on time and he did a preliminary evaluation of the exterior of my house by himself first. We then walked around the house together and discussed some trouble spots and drainage solutions. We have ivy growing all over one of the old gutter areas which I love and we discussed leaving the ivy as untouched as possible. He also had multiple colors to choose from and even helped me to decide. We agreed on a price (very reasonable) and he asked me if we could start in a couple of days. I asked him if we could start sooner rather than later as I was going to be doing some painting and removal of the old gutters would help. Rick's team was out within 2 hours and removed all of the gutters that afternoon. My house painting project turned into a bit of demolition and stucco as well and I had to delay the gutters for two weeks which did not seem to be a problem for Rick. I told him that Monday would be good and Monday am the workers started and by the time I got home from work it was all done and beautiful, seamless, fantastic!!! My ivy was left completely untouched!!! I called and left a message to personally thank Rick for the fantastic job. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I called Rick to prvoide an estimate. He came out on Friday and provided an estimate. I called back with the color and to have the installation scheduled. The following week the installers came out to install the gutters. The entire experience was great and I given a $100 discount for being a member of Angie's List. I would use them again and refer them to others.

They did a great job. Showed up when they said they would and did an excellent installation of rain gutters for my house. The workers and the owner were very nice to deal with. The gutters look great and the installation was done very professionally. Left no mess at all.

We agreed on a day that would be convenient to do the work and he called the day before to confirm that his crew would be out early the next morning. They showed up on time, were polite, efficient and seemed very competent. I was very happy with this company and will certainly call them again when I need rain gutter service!

Rick was outstanding in his interest and responsivenss to my situation. His reassurance that my overall job is satisfactory was invaluable. I so needed an impartial, third party, objective evaluation, and he donated it willingly and gratitutiously. I was initially interested in paying him to re-do the job, but his reassurance left me feelling better about the work done by the other contractor. He gave me a bid the for entire job and it was in alignment with what I had paid the other contractor, which I consider reasonble. This is an honest, patient, and respectful contractor who cares about his customers.

Very quick. Nice price, friendly installers. Took about 3 hours from start to finish to repair and install the gutters on this 2 story house.

Everything went great. It took a while to figure out the appropriate style of gutter for our mid-century house in Silver Lake. Rick was helpful in this regard. He made a special trip to the house to pick up the paint that matches our house trim so that the gutters could be prepainted. He only charged us $100 to prepaint the gutters. The estimate I got from another company was nearly $300 for the same service. Rick and his team came out and installed the gutters on time, and waited for me to arrive home from the office to approve the work. I was very satisfied. I would definitely recommend and/or hire Rick again.

This was a good but not spectacular experience. Rick Spink of Above & Beyond responded to my initial call quickly, came out quickly & gave me a bid on the spot, broken up into full-house gutter replacement & just a smaller section, all of which I really appreciated. He also helped me clean out an existing clogged gutter while he was at my house. His price turned out to be about 20% lower than the other 2 bids I got, & his crew arrived on time & did the work quickly. But after his guys had packed their truck & were ready to leave, I asked them to wait while I went on the roof to check their work. It turned out they'd left assorted debris there, including about 30 feet of a discarded metal flashing that would have been too heavy for me to remove alone. In addition, we'd agreed to have a 45-degree downspout rather than the standard right angle because of a tendency to get clogged with pine needles. But when I went outside, the downspout was just slightly off a right angle. It turned out the other version wasn't available, & I'm taking Rick's word that it'll work fine. But I was surprised that neither he or the crew told me in advance. These are small things, but I was disappointed they happened.

Very easy to get an estimate appointment and schedule work thereafter. Workmen arrived at appointed time, performed work carefully, were clean, and removed and hauled away all debris from the job. The owner, Rick, supervised and inspected the job throughout.

Excellent job! Mr. Spink even came by to answer questions about addition and cost of flashing and when the house was being painted to make sure he could match the colors of the gutters and downspouts as closely as possible to those of the walls and trim. His crew did the job in 3 hours. I will definitely recommend this company to others.

This was my first Angie's List experienced. I emailed Rick on a Wed night, he replied on a Thursday morning and was at my house for my free estimate on Thursday afternoon. They then showed up Friday to install my gutters. The gutters look great and the whole experience was very friendly and professional. I am very happy with the experience and gladly add my review to the pile of other ones for him.

Excellent. Very happy with their services. I got quotes and they were the cheapest. They did it in a day and it was fantastic. I was really happy with the fact that the guy who gave me the quite arrived on the job site and oversaw, which is not always the case.

Rick and his workers at Above and Beyond Rain Gutters were excellent. They not only did a truly beautiful job, they were on time, quick and careful. On the advice of our termite company and 2 general contractors, I had Rick put in gutters on two sides of the house that had not had any, replace all damaged ones, set outlets not placed correctly by the prior owner and do a garage affected by rain water. Their price was excellent (and included the odd maneuvers to accommodate our needs). They did work when promised despite coming to us (near Culver City) from Brea, Ca. I interviewed several other gutter contractors whose price was higher (one wanted to add costs after an initial, impatient offer). In general, I have dealt with many contractors lately (and except for the excellent termite company on this list ? Borite), it is a daunting/obnoxious task. Rick and his workers were a pleasure. I can unequivocally and highly recommend them on all levels ? work, cost, care and dependability.
