Fast response for the first estimate visit; very professional; got 2 other quotations; Above & Beyond was not the lest expensive but I was the most comfortable with Rick and felt that he was true to his word and that he would do the best job. He proved my intuition was correct. Also, although it was several months between estimate and getting the work done, Rick called to check in and expressed interest in still wanting to do the work. His employees were professional and courteous; efficient and did a good job.

Had my rain gutters installed. Initial response for the estimate took longer than I liked, and I had forgotten about them when they called back approx. a week after I called. However, since then their response had been prompt. Rick came out to do the estimate. He was straightforward with the estimate, talked about various options and colors. My impression was that he leans towards being factual and accurate rather than leaning towards being more of a salesman, which suits my personality. The quoted price I received was a fair price. Made the appointment and his crew came out on the scheduled day and installed within a day. The gutters and downspouts look great, and the crew did a great job of installing them. The color I chose blended very well with the color of the existing structure, and the crew took time to explain the downspout placement, as well as their recommendation on using flexible pipes to extend some of the downspouts away from the house. I requested one change in the order, to add gutter screens, and the same crew came out the next day to install them.

Mr Rick Spank Came by the house and measured and wrote up an estemate. Left the esitmate with color broshure on our door step. We liked the amount very good price. We selected the Musket (dark brown), And set up a date for the work. They came on time and completed the work in one day. They did a great job. Gutters look great. very clean, profesional work. No complaints.

We called and Rick called back in the evening. He is out during the day, so he returns calls in the evening. Rick came out for an estimate right on time. He walked around with me and then walked around on his own before submitting a bid. It was in line with others we'd gotten, and we decided to use the company based on Rick's professionalism and the many good reviews on Angie's List. The work was scheduled very soon afterwards and was done timely and very cleanly. We had some roof repairs that needed to be done so one scupper and downspout could not be put on right away. When I explained this, the worker (whose name I forget but he was great!) told me to call when we were done with the roof repair and he'd come back out. My suggestion that the contractors could do it was met with a frown and he said it would be no problem for him to come back out because he worked in the area often. Obviously he did not believe a contractor could do the job to his company's standards! I called about a month later and sure enough, two days later the remainder of the work was done. Meanwhile, I had accidentally dented the downspout, which we mentioned to Rick. He offered to bring out another one, which we declined because it was our mistake. Now that the downspout is installed, we can't even tell it was ever dented so they must have either fixed or replaced it. We are very satisfied with the results.

Rick was prompt and courtious, providing an estimate on the spot. He returned as requested to coordinate his install with a patio installer. His workmana were neat and professional. The install took less than 1/2 day and took place as scheduled.

Overall they did great services. They were really great with the estimate in terms of detail. They answers all our questions. They finished all the work the day the came out.

We looked at three different companies on Angie's list and two came out to give estimates. Above & Beyond edged out the competition because of price, customer service and they were located in our city (we preferred giving the business to a small local company). Rick was very personable, answered all of our questions, performed excellent work on time and was there to supervise his workers. We had one problem regarding redirecting the flow from one section of the roof which required him to come back. He was very professional and fixed it immediately. We had three separate rainy weather patterns follow the install and were thrilled that the gutters work perfectly. They also look beautiful on our newly painted house. I called Rick and he got back to me right away. We made an appointment and he came out on the date and time scheduled. We showed him the problem. The gutters had worn out on two buildings on the same poperty. Both buildings were two stories. He explained to us since our gutters were the old style size (the building is at least 75 years old) he could not attach the new gutter to the old ones (the sizes did not match up). He had to repalce the entire line front start to finish. He measured both areas and gave us a reasonable price. We explained that he would be able to come out in a couple of weeks, and that was fine with us because we were not ready quite yet. He promised to call ahead of time when he would come out so we would be ready for him. Sure enough, he called ahead and came out just as promised. His guys did the work neatly, correctly, and it looks great. Rick also came out while the work was being done to make sure all was going well. We will definetely use Rick again.

overall .i didnt do alot of pricing for rain gutters ,so i found someone close by ,i called above and beyond rain gutters,rick the owner returned my calls ,i missed many of hi calls because of my schedule, so he came by anyway and left me an estimate on the work.i only needed a small area done .so i contacted Rick to let him know what i needed .he adjusted the estimate over the phone.and i approved the work,with in a few days his workers showed up on time and did the work i needed. they explained the process of seamless rain gutters .new to me !,they the workers were very clean and polite .the job looks really good and he stuck to his price when they did the work,,the new ones look alot betterand very clean looking than the old leaky ones .Im happy my wife is happy ,what else can you ask for.

Rick was very pleasant and coordinated job with completion of housepainting.The only hiccup was that when I mentioned the Angie's List coupon he stated that it had been included in the estimate. I had not mentioned the coupon until he presented the bill after the work was completed. The estimate or bill not have the coupon discount listed.

I called for an estimate, and the owner came out straight away and gave us many choices and good advice on materials and color - paintable or not, etc. The installers arrived when they said they would, were neat and clean, and cleaned up all scraps after they were done. The whole job took about 5 hours. We were very happy with the whole process.

Rick came out and did the estimate quickly. He kept in good communications with us while we were considering the bid and in scheduling a date. The crew arrived exactly on time, were well organized, quiet and had the job done in only four hours.

We called Above & Beyond Raingutters in January. Rick came out right away and gave us an estimate, including a 10% Angie?s List discount. It took us a while to get approval from our HOA for the new downspout, but as soon as we did, we called Rick back to schedule the work. He sent two of his guys out the very next day. The crew showed up an hour early, so I wasn?t home, but they went ahead and got started anyway. They did everything we wanted them to do and more. They told me about some broken roof tiles they spotted while working on the gutters and one guy even took pictures with his phone to show me what they looked like. He asked if I happened to have any extra tiles and when I said yes, he offered to replace the broken ones for me. I can?t tell you how much that impressed me! I can see why they are called ? Above & Beyond? Raingutters. The materials match our house colors nicely and everything looks great. The real test will be when it rains next, but I expect everything will be just fine. We are already recommending them to our neighbors. UPDATE: With the next rainfall, we realized we still had a problem with water dripping heavily between the fascia board and rain gutter, near our front door. I called on a rainy Saturday morning and left a message, asking if they could possibly fit it in their schedule to come and take a look at it while it was still raining. I?m sure they were very busy that day, so I wasn?t surprised when I didn?t get a call back. A couple days later, I found Rick?s crew at my door, ready to investigate. They got back up on their 2-story ladder and looked at the area where the problem was occurring. It turns out that the problem wasn?t with the rain gutters, but with the roof. They removed a couple of roof tiles and took pictures of an area where the tar paper had developed holes. They explained that this is a very common problem and a roofing company would easily be able to fix it for us. They also gave me a couple of other suggestions for preventing further dripping between the fascia board and rain gutter. The crew was very professional and I really appreciated that they took photos to show me what the problem was. Rick followed up a day or two later with a phone call, which was very thoughtful.

The house already had gutters on two small sections of the house, and I wanted to finish the job. Rick and his crew were very professional, courteous, and very efficient at their job. They were done in about 3.5hrs, and now my house looks great. They even had time to clean out some debris from my old gutters! It rained the next day, and the gutters performed perfectly. I would definitely recommend Rick and his crew for anyone looking to install/replace their rain gutters!

Above & Beyond installed all new gutters and downspouts around my house, quickly and efficiently. They were very professional, took away the old gutter, and cleaned up the debris. My new gutters are not only functional, but because of the many colors available, the color perfectly complements the house, and looks like we installed new trim. They are beautiful. Overall - I am not a rain gutter expert, but I would highly recommend this company. I read the Angies List reviews on this company, I interviewed several companies, but Rick was the nicest and most professional. His price was average but his work was outstanding.

These guys were punctual, courteous, did a great job and came in under what I'd budgeted. I got an estimate for the same work from another service provider I found on Angie's List named "Gutter Depot"--those guys quoted me over $3000 for the same amount of work! These guys absolutely nailed it, will definitely recommend them to everyone in need of new or repaired gutters.

Service techs showed up within the window of time stated. They carefully installed all raingutters discussed with the owner. The techs were respectful of my home and landscaping. The only complaint I have is that one downspout should be a a darker color to match the rest of the wood trim on the house Instead, they installed the off-white that was the stucco color of the house. Other than that, I am happy with the service and product provided and installed.

I called and left a message for Rick on the afternoon before Thanksgiving. Thinking that they had gone home for the weekend, I was suprised when he called back later and set an appointment for Monday afternoon. When he came on Monday we walked around the house while I told him my concerns about water drainage and trouble water collection spots. He came up with an estimate and included the Angie's List discount. An install date was set for December 7th. While I told him that I wouldn't be home, he said not to worry, that they would take care of everything. When I got home the job was done, the color matching came out perfectly, the area was left neat and clean. The only way I could tell that they had been there were the new rain gutters all the way around the house! Thanks Rick, great job.

Rick came out and gave us a quote the same day that I called. He included several options of work that could be done, based on our budget, and automatically included the 10% Angie's List discount without me having to ask. Once I decided to have the work done, he was able to book an installation date within a few days of my phone call. The workers were on time, friendly, professional and efficient. My house is small - only 910 sq. ft. - so it wasn't a large perimeter. Rain gutters were installed around the entire house, and it took about 1/2 of a day. On the morning of the job, I asked the workers to make a few adjustments based on where water pools around the house, and they had no problem accommodating my request. In addition, they even took off all of my decorations and holiday light hooks that needed to be moved before installing the gutters.

Rick is a really great guy! Pardon the pun, but he really did go above and beyond during the estimate. I had a bazillion questions about yard drainage and downspout location and he was very helpful. The crew completed the work in about an hour. Very efficient! It has rained quite a bit and the installation is spot on. Our windows and yard are so much cleaner now that rain isn't sheeting off the roof and splashing in the garden. We are very happy with our new gutter system. UPDATE: We had a huge rain storm April 2012 and discovered that the 56-foot gutter section was overflowing. The next day, my husband climbed up there to discover pine needles blocking the downspout outlet. When he removed the blockage, the accumulated rainwater rushed out of the gutter while he watched. We were impressed by how much weight the full gutter held for over a day, and by how nicely the gutter had been sloped. He's usually a DIY guy but we're certain that professional gutter installation is the way to go.
