Bonita Creek Nursery

We needed to buy two fruit trees to replace some that had died. After browsing the web we decided to call the Bonita Creek Nursery. They were open by appointment only but were very accommodating and scheduled a time that morning for us to come over. (Use Google maps as the gate is not very well marked.) Once there, they were very friendly and, even more important, helpful with advice on which tree to select, how to care for the trees, prune them and even advice on taking care of the other trees. We tasted fruit from a number of trees and ended up with a Loquat and a Guava. They have an immense selection of rare fruit trees along side of the usual citrus varieties. Besides help with the trees, they invited the kids in to see the Toucans and other birds in their cages. A wonderful Sunday morning.
