Excellent. Emilio and his guys did great work. Yard looks beautiful. It was a bigger project so it took a couple days. He gave me a fair estimate and finished on time. Made sure everything was well taken care of and double-checked my sprinkler system to make sure it would cover all areas. He maintained good communication and was great to work with.

we agreed to meet at 10a.m. for the day of the estimate (I have to leave work early and drive 20 miles). Zavala says he showed at 8:30 & no one answered the door. (Not possible since the front window & curtain was open & he would be seen & heard. Plus 3 huge dogs inside alert ferociously to anyone approaching). He didn't bother to call me to say he had arrived early. I finally spoke to him an hour past our agreed meeting time. He assured me he would call me Sunday to confirm another meeting for Monday. I never heard from him again. The professional gesture would have been to admit he didn't want the job, not waste my time & inconvenience me. then I could have looked for another Gardner.

They did a really good job. Fixed some sprinkler issues we didn't know about, hooked up a timer, and allowed for some last minute changes by us, Overall a great company to deal with. Yard looks great. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that it takes hold! Definitely would hire again.

Great service - Emilio responsive to calls and texts. He and his crew cleaned up my large neglected backyard. I am booking him again to do some work in the front yard.

Emilio and a small crew did an exceptional job replacing an overgrown backyard with new sprinklers, vines, trees, sod, and an area for my outdoor gym equipment. The entire project only took three days.

They did a great job cutting our two trees (one in the front and one in the back yard). He seems to be very knowledgeable in how to best cut trees so that they can re-grow healthy and the best season to cut them so that they don't get frozen over the winter time. The owner was very patient in answering all of my questions and concerns.

They come every two weeks. They charge $40 a month. I have to tell them what to do. They should know what needs to be done, but I have to tell them if I want anything besides just the cleanup and the bushes trimmed. I got another price and it was the same. They do good work for what they do, if you want anything extra, you have to tell them.

They got a guy working for them that was very conscientious. Unfortunately, he moved out of the state. The guys now, I have to tell them more. The other guy that moved, he knew what to do. He could see what needed to be done extra and he’d do it.

Emilio answered his phone on the first call. I didn't have to play phone tag with him. He came at the appointed time, on time. My vision of what I wanted wasn't very clear. He gave some suggestions that help solidify the scope of the work. He spent some time with me to get a clear idea of what I was thinking of. He was able to give me a bid right away. He always, through out the whole process, was willing to stop working and answer my questions. At a couple of different points my mind changed about some of the details, he was very patient and ready to make the adjustment. Zavala Gardening did an excellent in turning my old drab, weed invested, gopher ridden front yard into a beautiful and attractive green space that has added curb appeal to my home.

I'm very pleased with the service. He came on a Saturday to give me an estimate. We agreed on a price and time. He and his crew came promptly. The work was completed in less than an hour. Very professional, punctual, and affordable.

My back yard can be a challenge, but they do everything that needs doing. They are also organized, so they're quick. They arrive with all the tools and the three men get it done in a timely manner.

When he works on my lawn, it is showstopping. He is outstanding. You don't have to tell him what to do, and knows what to do on his own.
