Description of Work: Vlad fixed a wood Art Deco Daybed. The supporting piece broke. He was fast, efficient and the daybed is fine now.

+ -1 moreVlad takes about an hour and polishes everything. He gets out scratches and gets out fingerprints. He cleans the strings as well... not sure if humidity causes them to rust or what but they do change color over time. He is not cheap but it's a pretty specialized field I guess. I got his number from the piano store where I bought the piano. He is very polite and professional. If you want to protect your investment, I recommend him.
Description of Work: I have used Vlad for about eight years. He "details" pianos which means he cleans and polishes them on the outside then cleans the strings on the inside. I have a Steinway grand piano and if you just look at it from across the room it scratches. Since the piano was such a huge investment, I have Vlad come out every six months to clean, shine and polish it. Some people do it more, depending on how often they use it, some people less of course. I also have a child who manages to get finger prints all over it so he removes those as well. My Steinway looks brand new and it's now ten years old.
