+ 0 moreMr. Roberts was punctual, friendly, professional in his overview of the work required and made various recommendations on possible courses of action based on at least one other prior sound-deadening project he had been involved with. Because he was not given the opportunity to view the space above, he could only provide a very general estimate that I and the upstairs owner then realized was beyond our current budgets so we didn't follow through with a full estimate.
Description of Work: I was considering adding sound insulation to my condo to deaden sounds from the apartment above and wanted an estimate of costs. Bill Roberts came to the site and spent about an hour looking at the space, noting various areas where sounds leaked from above, at the same time making recommendations on sound-proofing materials and the possibility of replacing or adding more sound layers to the existing ceilings. He didn't have the benefit of looking at the attic space or floors in the above apartment at the time so could not make recommendations for possible work at this level.
