Hans and his crew do excellent work. They did meticulous and extensive prep work on my 1920's Oakland craftsman before painting, including stripping old paint where needed, treating for mildew, replacing some warped wood and repairing dry rot. Hans explained everything they did. He and his crew also were invaluable in getting the color scheme exactly right; they listened to my general idea and made it real. Everyone involved was polite, tidy, hardworking and punctual. Once the job was underway Hans was quick at getting back to me on questions. The only negative, which was not major, was a lag in communications about scheduling the start date. I had contracted with Hans for the work 4-5 months before the job was to start, but as it grew nearer and I needed to plan around the painting it took longer than I would have liked for him to respond to messages asking about the start date. Nonetheless, once we nailed that down Hans and his guys were nothing but responsive and prompt. I will definitely use them again.

Excellent experience. Prep was careful and meticulous. Crew punctual, extremely hardworking, polite and most of all experienced and knowledgeable. The results are great. You will get a lot of references so you can drive by and go see the quality of their work for yourself. Recommend without hesitation. They want to get it right and do a good job. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and they guaranteed their work for 5 years which was longer than other bids we had.

Settling the scope of work and price was easy since we already knew Hans from a previous job.So far as we know -- we were away when the work was done -- they arrived on time, left on time, and left behind a very find, professional paint job.

Very well. Crew was punctual, courteous, careful, neat and thorough. Owner was available and responsive.

I spent about $2200 on that work. He was excellent. I liked his attention to detail and that he was thoughtful and responsive to the clients intelligently and responsively.
