I am so embarrassed at how much I paid for just matting for an oil framing. I walked out of there so upset. It was an emotional thing because it was a painting that belonged to my parents; it was a big deal. I was so uncomfortable. I think his name is Patrick Nielsen. It was unconscionable; it was so expensive. It wasn’t even a good job on top of that. I called the Better Business Bureau, and they do absolutely nothing. I was just furious because I had it framed at another place for a fraction of the cost. I had a poor job done by a woman who was ill and I didn’t know it at that time. So I thought I will have it redone. It was my fault for even agreeing to it. It was so outrageous. The painting was the one thing I got from a relative and it meant a lot to me. He was condescending to me. He called and it was even delayed on top of everything else. He gave me a decent quote before. He said that it would about so much, and it was higher than what he said. I went back. I talked to him over the phone and told him what I needed. Then when I went in, it had jumped up. I think it had even jumped up a second time. The price was terribly higher than what he told me over the phone.
