Nicholas Roofing

Nicholas Roofing is a lovely family owned business. They were professional, incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful every step of the way. They repaired dry rot, insulated attic, replaced roof, added new gutters and downspouts. All was done in the time frame given, as well as very good clean up along the way. I was the second of three neighbors on our quarter of the block to have work done by them in the past couple months. Also, several other neighbors have roofs replaced by them in the past few years. To top it off, my final bill for the project was less than the estimate. Working with Nicholas Roofing was an absolute pleasure. I’ve never been so excited with a roofing project as I was with this one.

Excellent! They were terrific, in and out in one day. They walked me through the entire process and stuck to their quote. They were great! Really easy to work with.

Both estimator and technician came on time, worked efficiently and quickly, and provided clear information. Repair appears to be done well but won't know for sure until we get some rain.

They were very good. They have a family business. They were very honest. They have been in the business from a long time. They gave me a discount as I was their regular customer. They were honest and straight forward. They explained everything. When I had questions, they came back and looked at it again and fixed it up. They were very responsive. I would use them in the future.

They came and did the job on schedule. They did a good job and their price was reasonable. I would recommend them and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Informative estimate. We were concerned about both roofs (detached studio and main house), but he told us not to worry about the main house for 2-3 more years. Gave a competitive estimate on the studio roof and was very, very responsive to requests for information, worker's comp verification, etc. Workers came when scheduled and completed work promptly. My only quibble was that there is a space that does not look like it was ventilated in an ideal fashion (I'm no expert though) and the clean up left some nails and tar paper scraps around the garden beds and lawn (not many, but some). All in all a great experience with a contractor.

They were great and did good. They got everything done on time and the quote was reasonable.

I had him do the repairs for free because it was a new roof. His service is really good but I’ve had problems with the roof he put on so I’m not happy with that. He is really good about coming back and fixing things for free so it isn’t a hassle; I didn’t have a problem getting him back out.

They replaced the roof and the gutters. I think that the roof looks nice but the gutters are not quite what I expected. I wanted something that was not only functional but looks great too.

The did the complete roof in just four days. The only thing I would complain about is that it took them weeks to cash my check, which is rather inconvenient.

I would never recommend this roofer. My roof leaks now that they have put on the new roof. I have had to call them a second time. The leaking ruined the brand new wall I had installed.He gave me a refund. He made it right but it was a hassle. I have two leaks now. I also have a leak in the guestroom and I am very upset about that. That room had a brand new paint job. He is not on my happy list.
