Matt Hornby

I contacted Matt with some ideas of what I wanted to do in my badly neglected 25x25ft back yard. He was able to take my basic ideas and transform them into the garden I had always wanted. His crew cleared my yard of all debris, leveled and sloped it correctly to have water drain away from the house. We then raised the flower beds around the yard about a foot and half with a small rock wall that looks terrific. When it was first installed I wasn't quite satisfied with it but when I spoke with the person (sorry forgot his name) that was installing the rocks he understood completely and and the next day the wall was perfect. This is a wall made of stacked stones with no mortar. This was then back filled with top quality soil. We also installed a granite gravel path way that goes from one side of the yard surrounds central circular planter bed and winds down the opposite side of the yard. This also came out really well. Matt also suggested adding two pergolas to my back deck (existing) that really gave it a finished look that was lacking. When Matt was done with the landscaping I was at a loss on what to plant. I wanted drought tolerant plants but also color and flowers. This is when he handed me over to Martina, his plant specialist. Once again this was a liked minded person who listened to what I wanted and made some excellent suggestions for plants that have worked out really nicely. I have had more then one complement on new "oasis". I cannot recommend Matt and his crew Highly enough! He came in with great design ideas, quote what I felt was a very price and then had the nerve to come in UNDER budget!

My backyard looks incredibly beautiful. Matt is very talented, responsible, kind and has competitive prices. He did a beautiful job on my backyard. I highly recommend him for his services. If i had any problems, he would send his guys out for free. I will be using him for any future services.
