FREDRIC'S ELECTRIC

Fredric's service is reliable and fast. We were able to receive same day service after we called. Expert electrician Julio is conscientious and delightful. I will always use Fredric's Electric.

The work went as planned, although the socket next to the fireplace was marred by many drill holes in the wood wall. About 2 hours after the technician left, our ADT fire alarm went off and I smelled an electrical smell. My computer and printer blew out and all the lights starting coming on. When I went to turn off the lights, the flipping of the switch for each light caused the light bulbs to make a loud popping sound, bright light and then burn out. I called Frederic and left a message about what was happening. He didn't call me back. So I then called his technician who said "I didn't touch any of the other wires". I said he needed to come out anyway because something was very wrong. He did come out and opened the electrical panel and saw arcing. He said that the "neutral wire" in the panel was in the wrong place (a pre-existing condition which was not previously noticed). The technician wanted to do a fix that another electrician said was inappropriate, so we had the second electrician fix the problem. We called Frederic again to let him know what had happened and left another message. He then called back and we told him that we were holding payment until we understood why the problem wasn't caught by his technician, even though he hadn't done the wiring in question. Frederic immediately started shouting at my husband over the phone stating that he was going to place a lein on our property and take us to court "it's going to cost you a fortune" he said. My husband said we were not blaming his technician but did want to understand why "due diligence" seemed to be lacking in identifying a pre-existing problem. Frederic and my husband talked for awhile and he offered to come out, but we declined after the outburst, which made us uncomfortable. Our printer, computer, TV, radio, furnace, and new washer were all ruined.

They were very responsive to everything that we needed. There was a very quick turnaround on all of the work we needed done. I will use them again in the future.
