We were having a horrible time with voltage fluctuations, scary situation...Daan was a good communicator, stated what he needed and did fine work for a reasonable price. Highly reccomend, and will definately use this companies excellent service again in the future if other electrical work is needed

They came out for a quote and said they would follow up with a full proposal. I sent them two follow up emails and called and they never got back with me.

Although they were over an hour late for the appointment we had scheduled, the work was performed quickly and looks fabulous.

I've used the Fighting Amish before, in a previous home, to install 3 ceiling fans and they were great. But today, they really went above and beyond by NOT coming out to do any work. I left a message for Daan and explained our issue. He called me back within 30 minutes with detailed instructions for how I could troubleshoot what might be a simple issue myself. Lo and behold, his tips got us back up and running immediately. They didn't have to do that. They could have easily made some bucks for coming out and doing that simple fix themselves, but they didn't. Daan saved us time and money. The Fighting Amish has got our business for life!

I had contacted several other electricians all of whom failed to figure out what was wrong. They went there and immediately figure it out and fixed it.

They gave me high quality and very trustworthy, work. They were honest, totally dependable, and very responsive to my requests when I contacted them. Their cost was pretty much in line and fair with other good, licensed electricians. They were worth every cent. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I have also recommended them to other people and will continue to do so.

Their estimate was very detailed and easy to comprehend. They did not try to push me into rewiring the house and told me exactly what needed to be done to get my box to code. They did a great job and went the extra mile sealing the hole created in my roof, grounding the water heater and new grounding outside. They came and went in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. GREAT guys, great job and a great sense of humor. If you need any electrical work please call them, you will enjoy their work.

The Amish people are very peaceful. They are two guys from Amsterdam, Holland. They charged me $1900 for their services. They were fine. They did the work very quickly and professionally. It was really complex. We have been in this house for 50 years. It turned out that it was a circuit breaker box, but it wasn’t really a circuit breaker box. There was a company that was put out of business many years ago and we didn’t break any circuits. The electrical switches turn off your circuits, but that didn’t guard them in anyway. However, we didn’t know that. Then we learnt about it and we called Fighting Amish to do the job.

As stated they were very professional, arrived on time, were very helpful in doing additional work which I had not mentioned on phone when set date and charged a very reasonable charge for everything.

I got them off the list and they were very good. They are not cheap and are reasonably priced but are very honest and they work very quickly. I really liked that they tried to solve my problem over the phone to make sure it wasn’t something simple that I could solve. I could not solve that problem, so they had to come out. I spent $100 on that service and it went very well. They were efficient, professional and I would highly recommend them to others.

Daan and Inder were professional and friendly. They arrived on time and worked quickly. We had them come in to do a few simple things on an older electrical system that we felt would be best done by skilled folks. Not only did they call our attention to some wonky DIY wiring in the basement that was done by previous owners, but they made that wiring safer; they saw something odd and took it upon themselves to do the right thing instead of ignoring it.They made some suggestions about future work but not in a pushy way. For us, the experience was wonderful. We had been in need of a new licensed electrician for a while. We feel that Fighting Amish is a reliable company that we would trust to do more complicated, more expensive work in the future.

They were prompt, courteous, and capable. They weren't able to schedule me quite as quickly as I wanted, but I only had to wait a few days. I wondered at first whether $100/hour was too high. But for the price, I got two electricians who, within one hour, accomplished three installations exactly as requested - well worth the price.

They were very thorough, tracking down multiple issues in a stairway light. They explained everything they did, showed me where the issues were, and what my options were for fixing them. They also didn't mind that my dog, Bailey, apparently felt she should supervise their work. I will definitely use them in the future.

The service went exceptionally well. Initial phone call returned promptly, and was able to send some pictures of the system via email for their information which helped get them up to speed on the system. Showed up on time, extremely courteous & professional. Very knowledgeable about electrical system and offered clear, focused information. Answered all my questions. Gave a quick fix and outlined an approach for final fix. Kept me well informed. They told me the parts required for the final fix and left the decision to me to proceed. Once the parts came in they were quick to schedule a time to come over and not only fixed the original problem but adjusted and improved the track lighting. Between the two appointments, I had an electrical outlet fail, and they were happy to take care of that also. I felt like I could trust these guys and ask any questions about the process. Very happy with the process and will hire them again for any other electrical work on the house. Highly recommended.

It would be great if every contractor was like Daan and Inder. They were right on time, completed the work quickly, took the time to answer every question, and left a clean house when they were done. It is clear that they pride themselves on not cutting corners and making sure they do quality work - which is important when working with electrical installations.

Daan and Inder were great. Within a few hours of leaving my message asking for a quote I received a call back. They were able to schedule the service for the next day. They showed up on time, did great work and were very nice guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical services.

inder and daan were wonderful to work with. they were friendly, knowledgeable and i trusted them implicitly. have recommended them to friends and would use them again.

The guys were professional and explained in great detail their findings and solutions. They were here approximately 6 hours over a couple of days, correctly many of the electrical mishaps we inherited with the house. Now everything is illuminated and we're happy with the results.

They had high ratings on Angie?s List, which was one of the reasons I tried them. The two brothers that own the company came out, talked with me and answered my questions. I?ve kind of learnt a little bit about contractors, and what to look for and what not to. They were very upfront about permits and were just pretty honest. I kind of liked them. They are a pretty local company. What they did was pretty much in line with another company that I am looking at. They?re not the cheapest bid out there but I feel like I can trust their work. They were on time. I would probably be using them and would consider looking them up again if I had any projects in the future.

They are 2 brothers who are master electricians specializing in residential work. I liked them because they were hardworking and knowledgeable. They did a marvelous job for us. They told how the fixtures could be done and then did it right away. It was a difficult job, but they did it. Our house is 13 years? old. Unlike the other guys that didn?t leave a lot of room in the walls to make adjustments, they handled it. We were very pleased with them. The other guys wanted to tear up the ceiling.

On the date and at the time that Don was due to arrive he called to say his truck had a flat. It was unable to be fixed that day so he agreed to come back at my convenience which he did. The only "problem" was two nails left in the wall from the previous fixture. I was able to remove one but Don had to come back and pry the other one out.

They came out to reinstall a light switch. It was a fairly simple job. They were punctual. They did a good job. They made sure to clean up after themselves.

If only other contracting experiences went this well. we had a light in the dining room that wasn't working & a kitchen light that was burning through bulbs quickly. I looked on yelp for an electrician & the Fighting Amish Electric has 5 star ratings. They came out & gave us a reasonable estimate & we set a day & time. while installing the lights they noticed that our knob & tube wiring was chewed & a potential fire hazard. Previous electricians didn't even go up in the attic. They recommended that we have the insulation removed & the wiring repaired. we had them return & repair the wiring & properly reinstall lights that another electrician changed for us. They are thorough, professional & explain in great detail what needs to be done & what you should consider for future projects.
