Description of Work: We have had work done with them before and even though we did not go with them this time around, I would use them for most big projects. They are second to none in service and professionalism

Description of Work: I have never, ever received better service than provide by Daan Rottger at Fighting Amish. To make a long story short, we had a important light over our kitchen table go out, and the problem was a defective socket. When I called to schedule a time with Fighting Amish, Dann emailed me back that evening saying that he would be busy for the next week or so. But he also included easy-to-follow instructions on how I could fix the problem on my own. The socket which burned out was not a common one, but he told me where to find it and step-by-step instructions on how to install and test the problem. I ended up asking a few questions in emails, all of which he promptly answered with the correct solutions. I regard my self as "all thumbs" when it comes to electrical work, but he made it easy. Daan all of this without charging, and even though I had never been a customer. Frankly, I had thought service like this had disappeared decades ago. I strongly recommend Fighting Amish and will definitely use them whenever I need electrical help again. And next time, I will make sure he is reimbursed for the hours he puts in.

Description of Work: Daan came to my rental property to examine the electrical work done by a previous contractor. He found that they had used the old conduit on my roof and had accidentally skinned the insulation off the wire causing it to short out. He even showed me the old conduit and wire. He explained everything clearly so I understood the situation, he then trouble shot the situation and found that my sump pump for the washer had a short. He provided GREAT service and he's my electrician from here on out!

Description of Work: Installing conduit for new oven, upstairs/downstairs controls for entry hall light inspecting basement for electrical safety.

Description of Work: Over a year ago Dan and his brother had put in several new lights in my house. This morning I noticed that the light in one bathroom was pulling away from the wall. I called Dan and he came out to take a look about 2 hours later. He determined that one of the anchors they had used when they moved the junction box had pulled out. He spent about 30 minutes putting in new anchors and checked one of the lights which had been blinking. The repair was "on us." He asked me to watch the light and call him if there were any more problems.

Description of Work: I wanted a ceiling fan and light replaced with a new one I had purchased.
