Description of Work: I've had bad "green" firewood before. So I trusted the reviews and ordered from Fessenden. They got back to me during working hours (as on their website) recommended a mix of wood, and set a delivery time within the week which was what I needed. The driver called and confirmed and did delivery. The wood is great as advertised, I went for the Postrio Cut (smaller cut) because of my stove size. | |They are not cheap - but they deliver. Next year I'll order in the summer when it's a bit lower priced. I'm happy with my choice - and since we don't burn wood that often it's good to have properly seasoned finely split wood.

+ -1 moreDriver helped me put the wood in a pile in the back of my condo. I tipped him an extra $20. So worth it to have the wood stacked and to have a fire in the fireplace on these cold nights! will be ordering another 1/4 cord soon! highly recommend.

We've all purchased firewood that disappointed us before, either because they claimed it was seasoned and then you go to light the first fire and it just smokes, or because the wood is all weirdly sized pieces and bits of stump...ugh. Well, here's the way it should and did go: I called, they asked how much and what type of wood I wanted, they gave me a precise day and time for delivery, and I got exactly what I requested at the time they promised it. I actually lit a fire that very evening using the wood and it was beautiful. Fessenden, you are my permanent wood supplier!

Description of Work: Ordered a cord of seasoned oak. Arrived as scheduled, dumped wood in two areas; wood is quite good and burns well. A little higher than the company we used last year, but that company did not have any seasoned wood for sale, only green. Men who delivered were nice, and owner/manager/phone contact person was friendly and flexible.
