I was very happy with the representation provided by Jenny and Sarah, who work together as a team. As a first time buyer I needed agents who were willing and able to answer my questions, and guide me through the process. I found that Jenny and Sarah, who are the owners of Elmwood Realty, are highly knowledgeable about the rental property market in Berkeley and Oakland. They were invaluable as I was deciding what type of property I wanted to buy and which neighborhoods I was interested in. They also provided very helpful advise as I made offers and negotiated terms. I worked with them for an entire year before closing on a property, a period during which very few 4-plexes were coming on the market. They were very patient with me throughout the process, checking in regularly and stepping up their level of activity whenever a promising property became available. They were very proactive and detail oriented during the closing process. I felt like they really earned their commission (paid by the seller).
