the service was excellent and speedy. the gentleman who did the work was very thorough and quiet inside the house which i appreciated as i was working in the home office.

They were very good. They were very professional, they showed up on time. They completed the work on a timely basis and the work was good. They left everything clean.

At that point the owner said he wanted to come out to the house. After he did, the price more than DOUBLED, even though only a few windows out of about 25 were hard to access from the slope. Not only that, but the price to clean the interior windows also doubled. The owner claimed this was to cover the cost of cleaning the inside of the skylights, but that had already been part of the original estimate. Odd. Very disappointed with A1's lack of professionalism and integrity.

The service was prompt, professional, thorough, with complete clean when done.

Late start compared to the appointment time. Good estimate for time the job would take overall (within a half hour). Great job. Great Cleanup after work. Good at answering questions.

A-1 Window was superb. I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly to others. They were professional and timely from responding to my inquiry; to giving me an estimate and doing the work. They were right on time. Most importantly to me they were exceptionally careful inside the house; covered their shoes and worked hard to leave everything neat and clean with no impact on window treatments, floors or carpets. The final product was excellent. Our windows haven't been this clean for 10 years! We are thrilled.

I have a split level home, which makes it a two story house in El Sobrante. The worker who came out, Ronolfo, was punctual, efficient, quiet and thorough. My windows looked great. I thought the price was reasonable, and it was completed in a timely manner. Before he left, he even came back after he was done to make sure he had not missed a couple of windows. He had already done a very thorough job, but I thought it was very professional of him to want to make sure. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. No wonder they are highly rated. They deserve it.

There was a little bit of coordination problem at the beginning - Stuart didn't show up at the appointed time for the estimate - but the cleaning itself (by Ivan Escobar) was excellent. Ivan arrived at the scheduled time and did a great job of cleaning the windows and screens. This is the first time I've ever had my windows professionally cleaned, so I can't compare to other options, but this was well worth it.

They answered my email with a phone call the next day. They were able to give an estimate (actual $ came in lower) based on Google street view and my description of work needed. They were prompt, courteous and did a great job. They quickly inspected all my gutters, which they said were in good shape, and did not need immediate work. I appreciated their thoroughness and honesty! Will definitely hire them once a year from now on to keep the garden out of my gutters!

I found these guys on Angies list. I e-mailed then to set up an appt from their website and got a reply in less than an hour -very quick!.They showed up on time, cleaned my gutters, then left all within an hour and a half. They were courteous and did a good job in cleaning the gutters.

It was a Big Deal that I purchased. It worked fine. I paid $6 on top of the coupon that I purchased for $100. They were on time and they were friendly. There were no real problems. There wasn't a whole lot of conversation. They were in and out fairly quickly. Everything was fine.

They were excellent. They cleaned all my gutters. I have used them twice so far. I used them last year as well. They were prompt in doing the work. I called them and they came the same day to do the work. I will definitely use them again.

We exchanged emails for a while. Estimate was very affordable and my house has unusual dimensions so I wanted to make sure the estimate was accurate. The owner, Stuart, came by and assured me (via email) that it was. They came as promised, cleaned all gutters of a lot of debris, packed it away for garden recycling and were done.

It went fine. The window washer did the insides of the windows and screens while the power washer started on the outside walls. As he finished power washing one side of the house, the window washer followed along and did the outsides of the windows. This is the fourth time I have used this company and they consistently do a fine job. I am very happy with them, will use them again and highly recommend them to others.

I confess, having negleced the care of my windows which represent a large percentage of my home's exterior surface, that I was quite worried about what I was going to have to face to bring them back to normal. From the Angies' List reviews, I called a few other window cleaning services and just didn't get the right feeling from their initial responses. The response from A-1 was an entirely different story. Not only was I to get an estimate promptly, imagine my delight when the owner arrived early! He systematically assessed the job, never once making a disparaging comment about the condition of some of the windows. His estimate surprised me at how reasonable it was. The crew was ready to work in a matter of a day or two and could work with my schedule. On the day of the work, two very polite and professional gentlemen came to rescue my windows. They worked so carefully, even wrapping any ladder surfaces that would touch the house which had been recently painted. Some of my older panes had a buildup of past cleaners which they worked very hard to remove. They also worked on mineral deposits on two windows that I had been unable to clear completely. In addition, when they realized that a couple of windows' surfaces could not take the conventional scratching to remove small imperfections, they stopped immediately to prevent further damage to the glass and notified the owner. I promptly received a telephone call from the owner to let me know that the crew was working about twice as long as expected to remedy specific problems, and what could and could not be reasonably and safely restored in its entirety. Of course, I compensated him for this additional work despite the fact that he did not demand further payment but only mentioned the number of extra hours of work performed. I believe a good job should rewarded and this was definitely a good job. The crew worked very hard, yet always remained so pleasant and upbeat. I was able to continue my work undisturbed throughout the procedure. The result was a houseful of sparkling glass. The brightness and clarity of the light is dramatically improved and the glass is so clean that it nearly brings the beauty of the garden inside. I know that, after this very positive experience, I will never neglect my windows again.

Stu came and gave me an estimate to wash the outside windows on the house that I rent. They are on the second floor. Ivan came and washed all of the windows, did a great job, removed screens when necessary, and even cleaned the inside of the bay windows at no charge!

A1 came to the house and gave an estimate that we agreed on, and we scheduled the work. They came on the agreed day, on time and performed the work exactly as agreed. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with and I would give them the highest recommendation.

I called for an estimate based on reviews here on Angie's list. The owner arrived the next day, looked over the property and quoted a price for a full days work at $340. I had never had the windows washed before (just bought the house) so I wasn't sure what it would involve. A-1 was able to schedule for the following Monday, so I hired them. One person (not the owner) arrived on time to do the work. He was pleasant and professional. He got right to work. My house has lots of very large windows that reach up to the top of a cathedral ceiling. He had the tools and know how to get up there and clean them all. I had tried to clean the windows myself and believe me, he did a much better job. It was not 100% perfect - there are a few streaks and drips, but I guess no one can do a 100% perfect job. I am admittedly a VERY PICKY customer! While I'm being picky, I will say he also left a few small puddles on the interior floors. The work was completed in 5-1/2 hours. That works out to $60 an hour, which I think is a bit high. Now that I know how long it takes, next time I might try to negotiate a better rate -- maybe by the hour. To be fair, they probably didn't know for sure how long it would take either! Overall, the windows look much, much better, and I am very happy with the service.

I stay in a hilly place and I have windows which are very difficult to reach. They send these two little Hispanic men with these little ladders and in four hours they clean the windows in such a way that I can?t believe. A lot of people in the past have not even wanted to do the job because they are too hard to do. They are fabulous and their prices are amazing too.

They were fine. I called them up and they cleaned the gutters as promised.

They were very professional. They were very quick on their turn-around time. They had the best estimate. I went with them because they were quite a bit lower in price. They did a great job.

This is the second time I have used this company and I will certainly use them again. There was some miscommunication regarding the time available to do the job, for which I will accept part responsibility. However, the company sent one person (who did all he could) to do what clearly should have been a two person job. Due to time constraints I decided the windows had to be the priority which meant the worker was only able to power wash the front wall of the house. The windows and screens were done perfectly and the front of the house looks great. The company made an appropriate concession on the price, and we agreed to wait until spring to do the entire power wash of the house when the windows get washed again. The "B' for professionalism is because the company should have sent a crew of two and did not send a power washer initially-the worker had to call a friend to bring one. The overall "A" is for the quality of the work and the price concession.
