Tenret Tile

Jerry was a sub-contractor for our kitchen remodel, and was brought in by the general contractor based on his long experience of working with him on other jobs. We picked out the tile and grout through our kitchen designer, who also specified the layout of the backsplash and a decorative inset that went below the vent hood. Jerry had no problems working with the material, and was done in about two days. He has a good eye for design as well, and was able to work out some layout problems with the tile. His attention to detail shows in the end product, which is flawless. If needed we would call him again.

We did not select Jerry ourselves -- our general contractor, Eastwood Construction, uses Jerry as his tile contractor. We bought the tile through our kitchen designer, and Jerry installed it from the design that our designer came up with. In a nutshell, it could not have gone any better! Jerry showed up every day around 8:45, and completed the actual tile install in two days. On the first day we worked out some details that weren't clear in the original design but were quickly resolved. He came back a third day to grout, and finished with sealer the following Monday. He works with an assistant -- both were very professional and very personable. This morning he finished up by hosing down the back patio where he had set up his tile saw, and that was it. Tile setters are as much artists as they are craftsmen, and his work was excellent. We had a fairly intricate design as the showpiece of the remodel below the vent hood and above the stove and it came out far better than we had hoped. If we need tile work done elsewhere, we would definitely give him a call again.
