NWP Heating and Air

I did a tune up with these guys, showed up on time and finished in an hour. A few weeks later my A/c unit broke down so I called to schedule an appointment. On Monday morning no one showed up, so I called up again only to be told "we have no appointment for you on record"!! After insisting , I was given an appointment eventually and they fixed up a fuse and charged $250 to replace the disconnect box. I wondered why the old box was not pointed out in the tune up, the tune up is supposed to be for pointing out what can go wrong !! Anyways , the technician was professional. He then said I need to replace the unit eventually so I set up an appointment for today with his boss for an appointment. He even noted the time on his sheet. And guess what , after waiting two hours they did not show up or even bother to call and update. I am never going back to these guys again !!

It went well. There were no problems or surprises.

I purchased a Big Deal and he charged us an additional $100.00 to add refrigerant. After we paid I read that they were supposed to check for a leak and then add refrigerant to the unit and that did not happen.

They had to reschedule first appointment after making me wait for 2 hours. On second appointment they never showed up, they did not call, and they did not answer the phone

I haven't had my AC units serviced in quite some time so I purchased the allowed 1 tune up and was going to pay full price for the 2nd unit. I noted my available times and dates during the service purchase phase but didn't hear back from them for over 2 weeks to actually schedule the service. I scheduled the service for a Saturday morning between 10-12 and was told that I would receive a call 1/2 hour before their arrival. Waited all day for them and never received a call or had anyone show up for the scheduled visit. Wasted a Saturday. Called the next Monday to reschedule and set it up for Wednesday of the following week between 4-6. They called at 11:30 wanting to come and perform the service, which was fine, but I was at work. No problem, they would keep the original schedule. I was still expecting the 1/2 hour courtesy call but they all of a sudden showed at about 3:40 and I wasn't home yet. They started the service work and when I arrived shortly after 4 they let me know that they were done with the service and inspection and everything if working fine but recommended about $800 worth of work that should be done. Just felt like they are offering a low cost service to get you to purchase unnecessary repairs. They did give me the second AC service for the discounted $49 for blowing me off on Saturday.

They provided a report and photographs on worn components and were very factual and low-pressure on urgency in terms of replacing them. I opted to replace 2 of 3 components and wait on the third. Very professional, thorough and low-pressure.

The service was fantastic! Everything was explained in detail, options were given and suggestions made. It was a very easy and painless process.

They never showed up. First appointment was cancelled by them after they said 2 people called in sick. I rescheduled for a week later and got a call within the time frame that 2 people called in sick. I cancelled the service.

I wanted the ac to be checked out and he told me I might have an issue with a part in the future and gave me the part number. He was not pushy at all and he tuned up the unit. It was a good experience.

The entire job was completed in about 2 & 1/2 hours by 2 technicians. For better understanding, all the necessary steps were clearly explained ahead of time. Supervised by owner Ceasar, the work was done in a timely, efficient, and professional manner to my satisfaction.

He was thorough and did a nice job inspecting. Came back with pictures of the parts that were worn and explained the consequence of their failure. No scare tactics, no upsell. He explained things very well and was very straightforward. We will have the work done by NWP when we decide to do it.

Jonathan did a great job. The inspection was thorough and the unit was cleaned up for another season. Jonathan showed me where I was getting some pitting and wear on the contacts and gave me the option of changing them out. He explained what could happen if they failed. I opted to wait another year, so we will see what happens. I would definitely call NWP again.

The work was done well but the communication was not well

Cesar and his whole crew were such a pleasure to have at our home. They are all very kind, friendly, respectful of my home and property, and incredibly hard working. I have never encountered a crew with such top-notch service and work ethic and I recommend them highly. The quote that we got got NWP was well below the quote from another company for the exact same setup. Besides, Cesar had ideas that the other company had not even thought of (things that we were told were impossible were actually made possible!). I know that Cesar worked hard to get a very good price for Fujitsu units which are top of the line. Cesar was very good as listening to our concerns and offering solutions to try to best meet our needs. For example, we had trouble deciding where to place both the indoor and outdoor units and we kept changing our minds but Cesar listened patiently and helped offer ideas until we made a decision we felt comfortable with. The work was completed very quickly and efficiently in a couple days. To get the job done on the last day they worked past 7pm with a smile still on their faces. The crew was very precise in their work and did not cut any corners. While the other company told me the line sets would have to run across the front of our house, NWP proposed that the lines be run under the house in the crawl space which was a brilliant idea! The crawl space is tiny and one crew member spent hours under there with no complaints. The end result is a clean aesthetic that blends in with my house. Since the line sets run on the outside of your home, there is the potential for it to look ugly. But they did a perfect job and it looks great. As a side note, I mentioned to Cesar that my garbage disposal switch had blown and I asked if he knew what I should buy to fix it. Next thing I knew, he fixed it himself by replacing the switch! I was so thrilled I didn't have to call in an expensive electrician to fix it. This is one example of how they go above and beyond what is expected. I am a very happy customer whose house is now comfortable all the time. I loved working with NWP and would recommend them very strongly!

Details up above. While out here I mentioned that I didn't want to have to cut filters to size any more. They ordered a box for me because my size is not available in stores. They will deliver them when they arrive at their facility, and at no extra cost to me. As you can see, this company treats their clients well. I have no reservations in recommending NWP to anyone. They discovered a problem with my furnace which caused my PG&E bill to double in one month.

I got my money refunded from Angies List. Could not trust the company after all the upcharging they were trying to pull. The were asking for $1420 in addition to the $1999.00 I already paid as part of the Angies List deal.

They gave me an appointment for the same day I called and they had the part. I am very happy with their service
