Description of Work: Was hoping for them to come out ASAP since I had an issue with my cleanout, the said their earliest appointment would be 2 days from now. I couldn't wait that long. The call took almost 10 minutes after being transferred and placed on hold multiple times to be told they couldn't come out was frustrating. Called them first because of the good reviews but they didn't want my business.

Description of Work: They replaced our water main, the line from the street to the house. The work was professionally done and completed to our satisfaction. They were careful about putting back the sod to cover the trenching. The price was as you'd expect from a bricks-and-mortar store with overhead. A sole plumber probably could have done it for less.

Description of Work: I have used Benicia Plumbing twice. The first time all went well. The second time was a bit of a nightmare. I had a leak under the sink which was diagnosed as a leaking garbage disposal. Benicia Plumbing replaced the garbage disposal for over $300. The next day there was still a leak. After a few visits, it was determined that I needed a new hose for the dishwasher. I had to order it myself. When I got it, they were not able to send someone out to replace the hose that day. They made an appointment for the next possible day and then forgot it. I called the day of the appointment and finally got someone out to replace the hose. I have asked several times if the garbage disposal really needed to be replaced and never got an answer. I was not pleased. I felt that Benicia Plumbing didn't handle the customer service part very well. I have been told that they do good work, but I am not convinced.

+ -1 moreAnthony did an excellent job at each task I requested and even put on a fitting for my fridge for no charge, I bought lunch him for that. I really enjoyed the detail with which he took to make sure each fitting was well connected and on the right level. He even made sure to polish off the flux from his welds on pipes I would never see again. He took the time to explain what he was doing and give me heads up on any items that might need my attention. The only issues I really had were that the price was a bit higher than I would like as the demo work was already done and I did have to call the office at least twice before I heard back from Anthony.
Description of Work: The work was essentially a re-plumb of two of my bathrooms and kitchen. I also had a extra spigot put on the outside of my home and a new master valve for the house water supply.

+ -1 moreThe plumbing that was originally done in the house never had any shut off valves. It had to be a special compression fitting because of the types of pipes that they had used. They weren’t quite sure if it would hold. The plumber is very good. They were very detail oriented people which is really unusual for a lot of plumbers. I have had them do other jobs for me in the past. They have always made sure that the work they do is the way I wanted. They were the best. The price that they had charged was average especially for our area. They were very responsive. They came right out when I called them since I had some problems with the original work that they had done. They were very professional and I would definitely use their services in the future. In fact, I would be calling them when I need to change all my faucets.
Description of Work: I used the services of Benicia Plumbing about five months ago for installing some shut off valves for the water under my kitchen sink.

The installer also offered advice on where we may have gone wrong. Lesson learned sometimes best to call in a professional to begin with.

At the time, the rep said it wouldn't be a problem and would provide an estimate by Tuesday (12/15). A week passed with no contact until I called twice on Friday (12/18). By the time I had an estimate, they could no longer get the project done until after xmas. Very dissappointing as I have out-of-town guests. Quoted price seems good, but there's no longer an urgent need.

They came out and did the work about six months back, and I am very happy with the results. They were very professional and prompt, and did exactly what they had outlined. I recommended them to some neighbors and they have done a good job. I give them a high rating on all counts and will definitely use their services again.

Their customer service is excellent. They usually have the parts that they need on the truck. The accounting department is very professional as well.
