A few people had recommended Chris Leone and thought she was great. However, my experience was different. She did not come out herself, but sent an inexperienced electrician who took over an hour to attempt to locate the problem and had to call in a second, more experienced electrician to find out why my power was out to specific outlets. Once he located the problem it was fairly quick to fix, a tripped GFI. But once I understood what the problem was, I realized any electrician should have been able to trace the problem quickly. Instead, I was charged A LOT for the inexperience, the extended time to locate the problem and for TWO electricians at twice the rate. My understanding of her rate structure was different that what I was charged ($90 just to show up, when I had understood the $90 to be applied to the first hour of work.) When I called to discuss, she said I should have hired someone else. So next time I did, Maura of Lucky Electric, who was great.
Description of Work: No power to several outlets. The problem was a GFI switch that needed to be reset. Also replaced another outlet.

My experience with Chris Leone was not a pleasant one. I called and she came out and gave me an estimate of $9000 for the entire job. When the 400 Amp panel had been installed, she asked for the full amount of money claiming the quote had been for that alone. I paid her and was given a quote of $4500 more for the rest of the work, I asked for a written contract and was not given one. I ended up paying much more than the job was worth and when another union electrician came to look at the work that had been done, there were many short cuts taken, wires that had been cut incorrectly, and wires grounded improperly, and I am now in the process of paying someone else to correct these safety issues. Stay the heck away from Chris Leone.
Description of Work: They installed a new 400 AMP panel for my ceramic studio in what was a four car garage. They also installed all the new electric in the studio. Also included in the job was checking out and bringing up to code the existing electrical work inside my house, grounding out many outlets and switches and installing some new ones.
