The initial telephone contact was professional SR was on time and ready to get to work... the estimator William was through, e.g. measurements and note taking (my care abouts) The job started on time... was methodical starting with roof removal & clean up This was followed by delivering roofing materials and installing the new roof The one thing that did not meet expectations was the clean up... lots on nails and stables left behind of which I cleaned up myself. Plus the workers stained my brand new paver driveway with some sort of beverage. I will say that George did send a guy to do the clean-up but at this point I wanted to be sure the clean met my expectations... so I did it myself. I do think that George would have continue to send his team over until the clean was done... taken care of. Overall I am very pleased with the price and quality of work and without hesitation or reservation I' recommend these guys to take care of your roofing needs.

They were on time every day when they were finished at night they cleaned up all the mess.I ask for a few things helping to fix a leak in my patio cover.they were great.We are very happy with the roof and the service.

The work was done well and in the time frame given. The area around my house was cleaned and left as it was before the work was started. The employees were diligent and respectful.

Everything went well from the beginning consultation to the last replacement of a skylight lid. Signature Roofing kept me informed by email and/or phone every step of the process including the final cleanup.

This was the most thorough roofing job from estimate though completion. At the point of estimation, Signatire Roofing provided us with all the pertinent information that we needed to make an informed decision. George made sure that we knew what we were getting into regarding, cost, materials, roofing options such as gutter replacement and types of roofing shingles. There was never any pressure to commit to the estimate. The workers came to the site as scheduled and our day was never interrupted. the work was completed on time and to our satisfaction. At the end of each work day, a cleaning crew came an made sure that the property was spotless of material from the day's work.The final inspection was scheduled with the city of South SanFrancisco at our convenience. Before final payment, George made sure that everything was to our satisfaction before submission. Ther was never any pressure to submit immediately after the work was completed. Thank you notes for choosing Signature and letting them perform the work were a nice touch. The company's integrity gets high points for extra work need to repair concrete that was damaged during the project. There was no hassle. The repair work was never an issue. This gives them high marks for being an upstanding company. I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat.

We are so happy that we chose Signature Roofing to replace our roof. From my first call to the company to the last detail and clean up, everything went just as expected if not better! The Assistant. General Manager came over (on time) and explained every part of the process they would preform. He explained all the best and worse case scenarios such as if they found dry rot and the solutions. The crew was professional, they introduced them selves and let me know what they would be doing each day. The whole process was completed in 3 days and the clean up was incredible. The President of the company, George, emailed and spoke with me directly throughout the 3 days to confirm what was next, and to see if we had any questions. The cost was so reasonable! Before we determined it was now time to replace the roof, I thought it could possibly cost up to double what we actually paid. Our roof looks amazing! Thank you Signature! I would tell anyone looking to replace their roof that this is the company to go with.

Signature roofing was the easiest company to work with, they provided a detailed quotation and informational package to help me decide how to select a roofing company and what was important. They were on-time, and actually finished ahead of schedule. They took care of everything that was required - permits, clean-up and contacting PG&E for electrical re-hookup. I would highly recommend using Signature Roofing.

The team was very organized and got the job done ahead of schedule. We were surprised that they were able to complete the job in three days. Everything went according to plan, and there were no surprises. George provided a lot of useful information in the sales cycle that helped us understand the work to be done and the decisions to be made. The company seems very popular, and had a healthy backlog, so we needed to wait in the queue for a little while, but it was worth the wait. The team did a great job!

I was impressed with Signature Roofing. We got three bids and they were the most thorough and detailed. They were also the best at communicating. They were the ones who followed up with us and took the time to answer all of our questions. The weather was a big factor and they were clear about when they could replace the roof. I was a little nervous because they were going to start on a Tuesday and the following Friday we were expecting a big rain storm. They assured us they would be long gone by Friday and they were! They finished up by Thursday before noon. The surrounding area around our house was clean and nail free (and there were a LOT of nails on the roof). We are pleased with the new roof. It's a big improvement to our home.

Since we don't replace the roof very often (the second in 45 years), their help with the front end of selecting the shingles, style, color and other pieces of a new roof was very helpful. Besides the usual catalogue material, they gave us an extensive list of their installations in our general area. This was very good for us as we are poor at visualizing a big area (color and texture) based on catalogue pictures. The scheduling was great and accomodated some conflicts in our schedules. Always appeared when supposed to and finished "on time." This also included an extensive cleanup at the end of each day so our house did not look like a construction zone. The crews that performed the work were very professional. Always worked at a steady pace without al lot of idle time and seemed to have some pride in doing a good job. We would be very comfortable in recommending this contractor to anyone considering a new roof.

I was impressed with how responsive this company was from the beginning, and they continued to be responsive throughout the entire process. William provided quite a bit of information up front, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The roof was completed in 3 days. I was home for 2 of those days. The workers arrived and started working each day at 8am and worked hard all day long. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Very good crew. George kept me updated throughout the day and I knew what to expect each day. The roof looks great and I couldn't be more pleased. Good job by all!

They did a great job! From beginning to end, they were very professional and responsive, George Belden came by regularly to make sure the work was being done properly and their clean-up every day was excellent. You wouldn't have known that any work was being done on the house. They discovered that we had 3 old roofs in one part of the house (that was a 1st!) but they dealt with that with no problem and we were very pleased with the final result. Definitely recommend them. We got three estimates for the job and could have used any one of those companies - they were all reputable - but Signature Roofing's price was on a par with the others, they were willing to take on some extra things (like removing and disposing of the old deck etc.) and it was their professional approach from the get-go that made us decide to use them. The men who did the work were very polite and helpful and it's clear that the company is well managed. A1 company!!

Signature was easy to work with and very professional. They quoted, quickly addressed any questions, set a start date and completed the job with no issues. I love my new roof. I would highly recommend them to others.

William was timely and thorough in his quote, as well as explaining some bells and whistles that are extra cost not needed for our gentle climate. I was given all the information I asked for and questions answered timely. Signature seems to send a lot of e-mails about process that I did not require. As soon as I asked them to stop, they did. I obtained 4 quotes from different vendors, Signature's price was a bit higher than I had hoped and they may not have put the Angie's deal in that quote, which I am sure they would have if I had asked. I inspected 2 of their previous sites and feel their work would have been good, they are well received by recent and not recent clients. My choice came down to Signature and one other company who were about neck and neck. I ultimately chose another vendor, in part because they offered me the Angie's deal up front, and a few other small details that helped in my lengthy decision making process. I believe I would have been happy with Signature work as well, and I would recommend them.

It went great! Received quote quickly, agreed to terms and executed! There was an issue getting the right solar fan - they came back the day after I had the fan and installed. I also noticed the garage was warmer than usual with the new roof, they came back immediately and installed a vent. Only issue is there was a little debris left after the work was complete - not enough to score lower on grade but enough to mention.

They were one of the lowest bidders. They provided a great deal of objective information up front regarding what to consider in selecting a roofer. They were very professional and performed additional non-roofing work at my request. They also did a great job cleaning up. The add on work cost more than I expected and they even agreed to reduce these charges.

Everything went well with the roofing installation. Signature Roofing had to take my antenna down to fix the roof, and the person they sent out did a terrible job putting the antenna back up. I had to call another company out to fix my antenna for me. I did have to pay for a new antenna due to old one not working properly. In all Signature Roofing did a good job with the roofing.

Upon invitation, the company exec, William, paid me a home visit, and explained the re-roofing process to me thoroughly. Out of 4 quotes, their work quote was not the lowest. The difference was however not too significant. I chose this company because I trusted their expert knowledge in their business, and they scored great reviews from past customers. They also furnished me with much valuable information so that I could come to an informed decision on the type and color of the roofing materials. The whole job lasted 3 days. On all days the crew arrived punctually, and started the work days at 7 a.m. sharp. On Day 1 my old roof was gone, and roofing materials were stacked up on top of my house. On Day 2 another team of skilled workers began installing the new roof. Since I was also adding a solatube and a solar attic fan to my roof, this team worked seamlessly with the suppliers. The new roof, the new vents, the gutters and downspouts were completed by noon on Day 3. On the afternoon of Day 3 the workers checked that they did not overlook anything, removed all debris, and made cosmetic touches on the roof. I personally climbed up the roof a couple times to inspect the work to my own satisfaction. Throughout the task, I found their workers happy, responsive, and very professional. William, as well as the company owner, George, knew what was going on all along. We maintained timely contact via emails and phone calls. Now I have a new roof that I am happy about. The roof carries a lifetime warranty which can be transferred to one other owner. At the same time I am confident that I have gotten to know much more about the roof above my head.

Owner George Belden offered a quote for the job of re-roofing. Quick to get estimate to me and very thorough email follow up pertinent information on roofing. Excellent with communication. Excellent quality work.

After reviewing five roofing firms, products, service and quotes we elected to have Signature Roofing install our new roof. We consider them for their integrity, professionalism, product, quality and price. Of all the five companies we interviewed, both William Cotter and George Belden, were the most professional in presenting their company, Product and examples of homes that they had installed roofs. They us modern satellite services to map the roof (which is much more accurate than the manual tape measurement. Plus, we had a perfect example of their workmanship when they installed a roof on our neighbor's house. In all, it took them only two days to remove the old roof and install the new roof. They coordinated with the city for the building permits and schedule of the building inspection. We have had several neighbors comment on how great our new roof looks. About the only difficulty we had was not being able to converse with the workers, as we do not speak Spanish. However, both William and George were very responsive to our emails and phone calls to answer any of our questions. I would highly recommend Signature Roofing.

I think they're great. They're very courteous. They keep you informed. They try to teach you things about roofing. They have a very good website. Their prices are also very good. They mainly do re-roofing. If you have a new roof, they are kind of lacking and don't know the common practices. They do not know what the city inspectors are looking for or recommending. I went with another roofer. Saber's price is probably lower or the lowest. They have different options. Their quote was between $12,000 and $13,000 for the felt and composite shingle. I was pretty happy about the price. Later, they came back and did further investigation. They said in order to do this, you need other add-ons. The roof will be inspected separately in different phases. They said I had to do the roofing twice. But they don't know. I did pay for more material labor to just put a cover on in order to pass city inspection and keep the project going. Before the final inspection, the temporary cover has to be pulled up and replaced with permanent material. They did that in the first visit. It's in the subsequent visit, they said you have to do the roofing twice. Basically, they are not very familiar with the actual practice. You are dealing with new roof on new construction. That's why I went with somebody else that deals with new construction. I think they are super because they have a lot of information for you. They keep on sending you roofing tips. They are not good at new construction but at least they try their best to come up with education for re-roofing. They have website that lists their past customers and the roofing materials that they use. The website even has their address. You can visit the property and take a look to get a real feeling about the final look. That's neat. They are pretty good.

I really liked William. He gave me a very thorough estimate. I definitely liked the company and their attention to detail and explanations I decided to go with a different company for the following reasons. 1. they did not use Ridge vents. (they preferred O'Hagen vents instead and wanted to install 6 of them.) O'Hagen vents are about $35 each. 2. they preferred to use tar paper instead of the tiger paw 3. The color I wanted was only available as a special order and would have cost a lot more money. 4. Their bid was significantly higher than company I chose even considering Signature included the cost of the permit in their bid. 5. They did not think adding ridge vent or O'Hagen vents to the garage would work because I would end up with negative air pressure.

Overall Signature Roofing did a great job of working with us within all of our constraints - time frame (we wanted to move in just before the wet season, and needed the roof before we moved), lack of driveway access / parking. We contacted other roofers before, who were unwilling to accommodate these constraints We mostly worked with William - he was great to work with and friendly & responsive. He helped us through the process, bringing sample boards to our place multiple times. The crew did a good job on both the roof and downspout / gutters. Highly recommend them.
