Saviano Builders

I hired Saviano Builders to tear down my old deck and build a new one. From start to finish, the company was prompt, professional and honest. The owner of the company, Tom Saviano came out himself to oversee the work to make sure the quality of the work was up to his standards. I found him to be incredibly reliable and efficient. My deck was finished in a week and a half. It looks amazing. Most importantly is safe now.

Saviano Builders built a beautiful custom ADU, but there were serious problems. He only has two regular construction workers, and when they were out for weeks at a time, the project was delayed: 8 months to build a 500 sq. ft ADU. Worst, though, was that they did the plumbing and caused a leak under sink that ruined my hardwood floors (from underneath) and caused a serious black mold problem. For months, Saviano tried to blame me, insisting I "poured water on the floors"! Once his secretary read my detailed emails threatening to sue, he finally owned up that it was his responsibility - and he paid for new floors, black mold removal, etc. Thus the 3 stars: in the end I have a gorgeous place. But It took a tremendous amount of stress to get here - I would NOT recommend working with someone who denies responsibility for so long! Nice workers, though. I regret giving him a 5 star review on Google before discovering the floor damage, which took weeks to seep through.
