It was a easy transaction and I will have them do my next cleaning.

Jeremy was on time, friendly and VERY clean. He explained everything and then recommended a new cap since the old one had blown into the chimney and rusted. He made arrangements for the new cap and clearly talked me through his assessment of the inspection. A few days later Geraldo and Edgar came to take care of the cap. I asked them to go back to remove some ugly foil from around the chimney and they happily went back up to take care of it. It was a great experience and I'd recommend highly.

Gerardo arrived on time, did a good job cleaning. But I feel the $170 is too expensive for half an hour of work. Gerardo also recommended a new damper, but the company's price is again too expensive.

They came, covered the carpet so it wouldn't make a mess. Cleaned it quickly and efficiently without any left over mess.

The technicians were polite, kept my home clean, worked efficiently and gave me a verbal and written explanation of their findings and recommendations. I would highly recommend them.

I didn't know where to start to get this thing removed - have not used it for years and will never ever burn another fire in our fireplace! Searched under "chimney" and e/mailed several contractors on Sept 4 got a response from Linda @ Mr. Chimney later that day saying that fireplace insert removal is something they do frequently. (Some contractors won't deal with insert removals - they're extremely heavy, bolted into the firebox, etc). On Sept 8 the owner was here to give us an estimate and detailed explanation of what they needed to do. Then on Sept 12 the crew of two was here to remove the insert and the long chimney duct (part of the insert), clean the chimney and measure for new damper. By Sept 15 (that was fast!) the damper was ready, so I set up appt for Sept 19; Adrian came out again on Sept 19, mortared the new damper and bricks into place, and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the firebox to remove all of the old soot (that's a really messy, nasty job - lots of particulate matter in soot). I wanted the box clean so we could PAINT the interior of the firebox and use this new space to display art books, dried arrangements, (I haven't decided on a decorative feature just yet). Adrian did a very thorough, careful, and mess-free job for us. The other 2 guys were very careful with getting the incredibly heavy insert removed and out of the room safely also. Everyone we dealt with at Mr. Chimney was great! What I thought was going to be a big bad job went much more quickly than I expected, and was I glad to pay $1400 to get ride of the insert - it was very much worth it! Thank you MR. Chimney !

The team was efficient, and left the fireplace clean (or, as clean as you'd expect for a fireplace). They discovered a crack in the chimney, which meant it could not be used. They explained the options to deal with it - very practically, and with no 'hard sell'. We were having some remodeling work done on the house in the summer, so we had our contractors deal with the chimney. They agreed with Mister Chimney's diagnosis and recommendations.

Great service. We haven't used the fire place in some time and wanted to ensure it was safe to use. They did a great job.

Punctual, polite, and well spoken Mr Chimney was a terrific discovery. He is capable of doing many types of chimney repairs. The debris knocked out the the chimney was about 5 inches deep on the floor of the fireplace. Of course, he blocked it off so it did not make a mess. We were lucky, all this one needed was a good sweeping. My business is real estate and I will recommend Mr. Chimney to my clients without reservation.

The two servicemen were on time and finished the project within 30 minutes. They came prepared with drop cloths and shoe covers to protect the floors. I appreciated their professionalism and would use their services again.

Called and arrived early than expected. Quickly got to work and was finished with cleaning in 1/2 hour. Receipt included condition report for all parts of the chimney and fireplace. Answered all questions. Thought I heard I would get a call in the afternoon re cost of repair estimate for one part of the fireplace. I did not receive the call and need to follow up on their estimate.

Scheduling was quick and efficiently handled over Angie's List emails. Two man team arrived on time and completed the job without any trouble. Martin clearly explained the condition of my chimney without trying to up-sell me unnecessary additional services. Will hire again next time!

The provider did a good job. We purchased the house last year and hadn't use the chimney yet, but the previous owners weren't great at maintenance. So I decided to have a professional come in and clean the chimney, even if it wasn't necessary. Turns out our chimney was pretty clean and he didn't need to do much. But he showed up on time and worked quickly, so I'd use him again in the future.

The guy was very professional, kept my place very clean and showed me and told me everything about his progress as he did it. It was a very easy process and very good value.

Arrived a little early. Was quick, tidy and thorough. We are very pleased. He put a moving blanket over the hearth and into the room for protection. Went to the top and worked downward. Back inside, he vacuumed all the soot. He invited us to inspect the chimney which was easy to do with his light. He then removed all his equipment, gave us a verbal report on the condition of the chimney and had us sign the work order.

It went really well, we did an inspection both looking down from the roof, he inspected the entire length of the flue. He answered all of my questions. He very nicely cleaned up when he was done.

He did a great job, and we're very happy with the service. We plan on using him again.

After purchasing the special deal on Angie's List, they contacted us, and came out the next day. They did a great job and gave us advice on how to keep our fireplaces in good working order.

We brought them into our new house to make sure the fireplace & chimney were ready to be used. They told us within minutes that there were some substantial problems that needed repair. It wasn't in our budget at the time so we didn't really get to see their craftsmanship, but we have no complaints about their making the appointment as scheduled or their professionalism in inspecting and advising. We will consider them when we are ready to get the work done.

They were on time. They were polite and cleaned up thoroughly. They were fast.

Purchased a deal on Angie's list to have our chimney inspected and cleaned. We've never used the fireplace but believe the previous owners had so decided to get it checked out to see if it was usable. Received an email within the hr from them to schedule an appt at a time convenient for me 2 days later. Two men arrived to perform the work. They were courteous, clean, and proficient, and left things clean. They clearly explained what would be needed to make the fireplace/chimney safe for use and cleaned the fireplace and chimney. I had to contact the main office to get a bid on what the repairs would cost as the technicians could not provide that. A bid was provided via email within a few hours. Still considering whether to go forward with the repairs but appreciate the work and interactions I've had so far with this company.

The address on my account was wrong and they let me know they do not actually service the area I need the work done.

The provider was punctual, professional, and efficient. He explained what the service entailed and encouraged me to inspect before and after the service was completed. The provider covered the floor and left the area clean.
