Martin was awesome. I called late on Tuesday, and even though he was booked solid, he agreed to come to my house Wed am at 7:30 to inspect the chimney. He took a look and said all it needed was a cleaning. It hadn't been cleaned in years (I bought the house 1-1/2 yrs ago and didn't want to use it until I had it checked). There are some gaps in the panels, and he explained why those were ok. He was on time, efficient, and done in less than half an hour. They had great service and are very pleasant to work with.

Martin from Mister Chimney came promptly for the inspection. After I consulted with the city planning department, I gave him the go ahead. Even with some rainy days, the work was done in less time than expected. I can't imagine getting a better job anywhere else. Ken G.

I called this company because of its high ratings on Angie's list. I left a message requesting an appointment and was promptly called back and got an appointment for my requested day/date. On the day of the appointment I was called to say the technician would arrive an hour late, but he arrived at originally scheduled time. I explained that I had been unable to use the fireplace because of excessive smoke. The technician examined the chimney and said it was actually fairly clean. The reason there was excessive smoke was because the grate was too low. He ended up cleaning the chimney anyway. The technician was polite and informative. He was careful to put down a tarp to protect the floor and kept the area clean. Total service time about 15-20 minutes. It must be a standard flat rate regardless of time spent, so in my case I was paying more for expertise than actual work. Still, my fireplace is working perfectly now and I'm very satisfied.

It went well, overall. The service person arrived 45 minutes late, after I received a call from his company saying he would be 15 minutes late. The worker was polite, clean and efficient, spending less than 25 minutes doing the work. He showed me the clean chimney (he had me look up the chimney with him) and gave me advice for future cleaning in about one year. He also informed me that the chimney did not need any repairs as it was in ''good shape.'' I would use this service again.

Arrived on-time, made sure that the surrounding area was kept clean as possible, and inspected the chimney. Quick, efficient. Only drawback was that price was higher than for another who'd recently had work done (on Angie's List).

Appointment was easy to make, very courteous on the phone. Made an appointment for 8:30am. The dispatcher called at 8:20am and informed me that the service man was running late, would be there in 20 minutes and he showed up in 15. Completed the service in less than an hour, start to finish, didn't leave any mess in the living room (threw down a rug to avoid scuffing or making the floor dirty). Overall, very efficient, courteous service man. I informed him of a minor leak on the chimney interior and he then recommended two things, get moss removed from chimney and replaced cracked chimney concrete topper, gave me a quote on the spot.

Following a chimney sweep by this company, I called back to request the additional recommended service of resurfacing the chimney crown. When I called back, the woman who answered the phone immediately recognized who I was and that I was calling for the additional service that had been quoted to me only two hours earlier! I was very impressed. Made an appointment for the following Tuesday and didn't have to be home because it was all exterior work. While I don't know what time they arrived, the invoice noted that it was 8am, precisely what they had said. When I looked at the work, I realized they had done a terrific job resurfacing and smoothing the chimney crown and even put a new chimney cap on as well. It looks much better than it did before, very professionally done. Mister Chimney mailed the invoice and while it was more expensive than quoted, I got a lot more than I asked. Please note that they do not accept credit cards, just checks. Very pleased overall!

The work was professional and efficient. The representative was on time (almost). It was $210 for TWO sweeps.

Chimney installer ( Alex ) supposed to come 9:00 am but show up 10:30. Other than that he was very good. Also sales rep. named Martin was very good too.

THE OPERATOR/OWNER MARTIN MENDOZA CAME AND WORKED WITH ANOTHER HELPER TO MAKE THE WORK FAST AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE FAST AND PROFESSIONAL. THE CAST-IRON STOVE WAS NOT VENTING PROPERLY BEFORE THE CLEANING BUT NOW WORKS JUST FINE.
