Description of Work: We had them come out last August to clean and inspect the chimney, so we had them back not to clean again but to determine if there was further settling/damage. There was, so they recommended installing an insert.

Description of Work: Highly recommend, especially Martin. Recently bought a house, and we needed a chimney cap and to determine if it needed a clean since we weren't sure when it was last used. Martin came over a little earlier than our appointment (which was awesome), gave us a great option on a chimney cap and had it installed within 10 minutes. We weren't sure if we needed a clean or how to tell if we did, and Martin showed us that there were just a few cobwebs but the chimney didn't need a clean yet. I loved this since a vendor could've duped me and charged me for a cleaning when I didn't need it. Martin showed and talked me through everything, which I also appreciated. Will definitely have them back out the next time I need a clean!

Description of Work: Martin and Jonathan arrived on time, set immediately to work, explained all of their work in detail, and did an amazing job cleaning my very dirty chimney. They were efficient, professional, and polite. Top notch service from start to finish.

Description of Work: Martin and Jonathon were on time and very professional. They cleaned my chimney from top to bottom and did not make a mess of my home. I thought they were both honest and did not try to hard sell me on any products. Martin made one recommdation that I get my chase cover replaced. Good work and I would hire this company again.

Description of Work: The scheduler promptly returned my phone message to schedule an appointment. Martin & Edwin arrived exactly @ the scheduled time. They thoroughly cleaned the fireplace/chimney and made some safety suggestions about the placement of the grate inside the fireplace. The vacuum blew-out quite a bit of dust when it was restarted, mid-job. Martin & Edwin were apologetic for that inconvenience. In the future, to avoid that problem, I would ask that they start the vacuum up outside, then bring the equipment inside. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with the job and would recommend Mister Chimney.

Description of Work: I requested someone to clean and inspect the stove-pipe chimney for my Franklin stove. I asked specifically to have the wires attaching the stove-pipe to the roof re-tightened as I thought one wire was loose. The repairman was late but Fatima (the considerate phone correspondent) called to say my serviceman was caught in traffic. The serviceman finally arrived. He spoke very broken English and communication was not optimal. However, upon hearing about the possible loose wire, he claimed he didn't have the proper tools to make the repairs, but he'd take a look to see what tools were required. I asked "If you have to come back to reinforce the chimney attachments, would I be charged for a second service call?" He said I would, so I sent him on his merry way and have now contacted another service hoping they will send out someone with the proper tools (i.e., a ladder, a screwdriver, maybe a drill?) to do the job in one visit.
