This firm is not accepting new jobs and refused to do an estimate. They should not be on Angie's List wasting customers' time!

[Member Name Removed] contacted me to do some work. We are currently booked out 8 weeks at the moment and I have a baby due any day now, so I respectfully told her were were not taking on new buisness. She became angry and gave me a F review that I do not agree with. See full message thread between us below. I wish you the best of luck! 4:02 PM OK you should not be on Angie;s list then wasting people's time. My review of my interaction with you will reflect this. 4:48 PM Monday, Jan 13, 2020 Hi [Member Name Removed], I am not sure what you mean, We are currently running about 8 weeks out. Due to this we are not taking on new projects? I am not sure why you feel that we would be wasting anyone's time. Usually we can take on new projects but unfortunately at this time we cannot?

They performed the work but was incredibly expensive in my opinion. This was 2-3 years ago.

Repair of florescent fixtures and exit signs went as expected. Was quick. They found some wiring issue with one of the fixtures and sent another guy to follow up due to their scheduling conflicts. The new guy seemed to have taken way longer than he should have. Felt it cost more that it should have all told. They charge a initial trip charge which is not applied to work done. Hourly rate was reasonable.

Dominic Deluca did the work, and explained what he planned to do, and how the lighting would work with a desk and work area. He arrived promptly at the time we discussed, and when he completed the work,he left the place in the same condition in which he found it. I was very pleased with his work.

I had replaced the vanity in a hallway bathroom only to find that the countertop butted up against the bottom of two outlets. I needed an electrician to move the outlets so I went to Angie's List and found good reviews for Dominic who lived closeby. I called him on Monday morning and left a message. He called me that afternoon and scheduled a time to come Tuesday afternoon. He arrived promptly and took care of the job in less than 45 minutes. His work was good, and his price was reasonable. I'll definitely use him again in the future!
Description of Work: I needed to move two outlets higher up because the new vanity in our bathroom was too high.

The pool pumps stopped working. The wiring to the equipment goes over the roof. The electrician found the problem under the foam cover on the roof and repaired it. He responded to my call quickly and did a good job.

We selected Dominic to bid (against others) based on Angie's' List and Yelp recommendations. He responded most thoroughly with a reasonable bid, so we selected him. He completed very good work against a deadline to allow other work to proceed.
Description of Work: Dominic Deluca replace two bathroom fans with new ones that we owned, and procured and installed whole-house fan. One bathroom fan was in a difficult location under s sloping roof, which required cutting the ceiling that were were planning to replace to access the fan attachment point. To install the whole house fan, Dominic had to cut a hole in the hall ceiling where track lights we installed. He cut the track to accommodate the fan and reconnected the remaining tracks to retaining all of the lighting. He also successfully and neatly installed a fan switch in a finished wall where he had to locate a void, drill through the top plate, locate and drill through a fire block, and fish wires to the switch location.

It went very well. Dominic does great work. His prices are very reasonable. He is easy to work with. He shows up when he says he will. He completes his work quickly and thoroughly. His estimates are right on. At this point, we don't even look for another electrician. We just call Dominic.
Description of Work: Dominic DeLuca did 3 separate jobs for us. The first job he did was to install a whole house fan and an attic fan in conjunction with the roofing company we hired to replace our roof. While he was installing the fans, we asked him to also rewire our master bathroom which had been wired incorrectly when the house was originally built. The second job he did was to upgrade our main electrical service to 200 Amp. The third job he did was to install some track lighting. I was really impressed with his installation of the whole house fan. Our requirements were a bit strange, and he did a lot of research to find a fan that would be compatible with our limitations. He also recommended installing an attic fan and worked really well with our roofing contractors to install it. The second time we hired him, we needed our electrical service upgraded after installing solar panels. Dominic handled all the coordination/permitting/inspection with PG&E (which was awesome) and installed the new box. When we needed a small job of some track lighting done, we called Dominic. Again, he did a great job.

We asked DeLuca and three other electricians gleaned from Angie's List and Yelp to bid on the job with my typical detailed specification. Dominic DeLuca was one of only two who scheduled a site visit. He quickly assessed the possible difficulties of working in our tight attic, and recommended a fan appropriate to our needs. His bid was clear, thorough, and priced right. He was the only bidder to offer to procure the whole house fan for us, which gave me confidence that he had good trade relationships. DeLuca completed the job in one work day, which meant cutting the ceiling for the fan inlet, crawling around in our shallow attic, drilling holes to string circuits, and reaching into very tight spots near the edge of the roof line. The job was further complicated because our walls have a fire block about halfway up the stud bay. Dominic had to work "blind" to fish the electric line to the switch location, which was below the fire block. He persevered and was successful, relieving us of a possible need to patch the wall. He was careful to protect our house during all the cutting, drilling and wiring, but did cut a small hole in one bathroom ceiling to be able to attach the new fan to the structure. Before cutting, he discussed the need, and that he would not patch it, and I agreed that he could do that. He also provided an invoice that broke out the cost for the whole house fan so we can apply for an energy efficiency rebate.
Description of Work: DeLuca procured and installed a QuiteComfort whole house fan and replaced two old, noisy and not very effective bathroom fans with high efficiency, quite fans (that we already had).
