I contacted Consentino's today early afternoon to explain the problem. Alberto very kindly fit me at the end of the day. He arrived before 6 pm and asked if it was ok to fix the problem immediately. Of course!! He did a great job, the lock can now be lock and unlocked easily from the inside and outside and the door is not hitting the frame anymore. Thanks! My daughter won't have to fight the door anymore!

I have been using Alberto for a few years now and I love him. He always just handles things for me. If something turns out to be more involved than he originally thought, he always explains it thoroughly. He does exactly what he says he's going to. Even my husband loves him and he's never met him...having Alberto to call on has relieved a lot of "Honey Do List" tension in our house! And one extra bonus is that I really love the music he plays! :) I highly recommend Alberto for all your handyman needs.

Alberto was very professional, as well as capable of do just about anything.....He was quick and efficient, he's price was fair, Job well done....... I would highly recommend Alberto to anyone, whether your job is big or small.

Alberto first came to see what work we needed to have done so that he could give us an estimate. On that same day, he scheduled with us the day he'd come to perform the work. We needed to have a kitchen light switch rewired, doorbell fixed, knox box installed, and at Alberto's suggestion, a door fixed. He did all of these things perfectly, and we will definitely call Alberto again.

Alberto did a great job. He assessed the problem with a malfunctioning motor/pump for our whirlpool tub. After some tests, he confirmed that only the switch -- not the expensive motor -- needed to be replaced. Due to the location, it took a bit more time than would normally be expected to remove the old and install the new switch but Alberto certainly knew what he was doing. He also adjusted a bifold door so that it opened properly. We were very happy that Alberto was able to fit us into his busy schedule and with the outcome. He may be a bit more expensive than some handymen, but worth the cost.

Some years ago I installed hanging rods and shelving in my closet. Last week it broke away from the wall. Clothes in a heap. Major goof was I put load bearing attachments into drywall instead of studs. Alberto arrived promptly at 9:30AM as promised. Working in a small, hot bathroom, he removed all the pieces, patched the walls, went to two Home Depots and an Orchard Supply to find replacements for the pieces that were bent beyond saving. He must have gone out to his truck two dozen times to get different tools. He worked hard and obviously new exactly what he was doing. When he was finished he did a chin-up on the new bar! He put all hardware directly into the studs in the wall. It's not coming down again. I am very pleased with the result. I also took the opportunity to donate more than half the clothes to Goodwill. It's amazing how much we put in and how little we remove over 30 years! Highly recommended!

Although Alberto arrived late due to traffic, he quickly responded to my texts. He then made up for it by staying a bit later and not charging me for it. Alberto went above and beyond with each job that he did. After fixing lights, he washed the fixtures. He was very clean, explained issues that I should keep an eye on in the future and he made thoughtful suggestions on how best to handle repairs - fix it or buy a new one. Alberto was friendly, thorough and he will be coming back in a few weeks to do even more.

Alberto put on a second door on my outside utility shed to provide easy access to the water heater. He took out the old water heater and replaced it with a new one. He was sensitive to the cost of a new one and purchased a mid-level one that had a good warranty but didn?t cost an arm and a leg. I live in an older house and he noticed that some of the paint had come off and there were cracks between some of the boards. He removed the paint, put caulking in to cover the spaces between the boards, primed and painted it. The color of the paint blended perfectly with the older paint. It was a seamless match. And finally, Alberto replaced the external light for the driveway. He has multiple skills and it was a real convenience to not have to hire multiple contractors to get all these jobs done. He does quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Alberto also did have to move the electrical to install the light fixture but it looks good and my wife is happy. He does good work and is reliable.

Our experience with Alberto was an excellent one. He let us know upfront when we spoke on the phone that he would most likely tell us what the problem is but that he would probably would not have time to fix it. He let us know by text that he was running a little late. When he was diagnosing our problem he explained what he thought it might be and what the fixes entailed. The biggest concern was that the sound was in a pipe in a hard to reach area of the house that would require extensive demo and reconstruction. Alberto found the location of the noise in the crawl space in the garage. Plus, he fixed it! The entire time we felt like Alberto was upfront and clear in everything. He explained what he was doing and why, and he listened to what we did and how it affected the problem noises we were having. Overall we found Alberto to be honest, fair, and affordable. We will absolutely call him in the future when needed.

He takes pride in his work and made sure it was done right. He handles multiple jobs at one time so don't expect if you have a large job that it will be done at one appointment.... but his work is quality so it would probably be worth it. My only negative is that you don't have a sense for the cost of the job until he completes it. I like to know upfront the cost of repairs or a remodel.....

You get what you pay for. Cosentino cares about his work and provides quality work. He is busy so you might have to wait... but he is worth it.

He is professional, personable and just a really nice guy. I really enjoyed him working on my gazebo. He's very conscientious and just a pleasure to work with.

He came out to fix a problem and he ended up helping me out with another problem as well.

Everything went great and work great

Everything went very well. Other people I called felt the ceiling light was too difficult to reach. Alberto was resourceful in finding a cheap and safe way to get to the light. He was able to find a practical solution in rewiring the light using the existing wires, so that we did not need to cut into the ceiling to bring new wires to the ceiling light. It was a very odd job, and I had trouble finding someone to take it. Alberto was willing to try and he did a fantastic job.

Alberto was extremely thourogh in his work, making sure he did a complete and competent job. He was fair in his pricing and prompt and attentive in his communication.

Alberto is fantastic! We moved into our house two years ago and the list of things that needed to be repaired kept growing. It finally bothered me enough to look for a handyman. Alberto was on time, explained everything, and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Of course, I added a few extra things to my Honey Do list after he got here, but he didn't mind. He finished everything that I asked him to do. Super nice guy. Great work! I've already started on my next list for him. :)

It was a very difficult job with a lot of ambiguity. The work was OK, the scheduling of the work and the costing was fair. We never really knew what the costs were going to be and the job was kind of managed around other jobs and therefore not completed in a timely fashion. It as a very hard job and he did well with what he faced and therefore for tough jobs I would use Alberto again.

Alberto was professional, punctual, and very accommodating to our schedule. We had a list of things we wanted done around the house, and Alberto was able to complete each project in excellent time. Although some projects proved to be more complicated than originally anticipated, Alberto was able to give us exactly what we wanted. The quality of his work is superb. We were very pleased with his eye for detail, and he left every work space in a better condition than when he found it. We will call him again for future home improvement projects.

Alberto did an OUTSTANDING job. Came in under his estimate. Quality was top notch. He met my very high expectations and I would definitely hire him again.

Went great. Alberto's busy, which I took to be a good sign, and he was willing to fit me in even though my job was small. Came out for an estimate on a previous day. Gave me some options about what type of vent pipe to put in - flex circular vent, hard circular vent, rectangular vent box covering. I felt he was honest about the options and did not oversell (I did not want the rectangular vent box). We ended up doing the hard circular vent in the kitchen, then flex vent up to the roof in the attic. Came out for the actual work - he took about 2.5 hours and many many up and downs to my attic because of my space constraints. He left the pipe not-fixed around the ceiling so that the range hood installer would have some leeway to wiggle around. Came back on a third time after my range hood was installed to plaster around the hole in the ceiling. $270 labor + $30 for materials for the vent pipe (Home Depot receipt provided). Recommended.

As usual, Alberto did an excellent job. I had large sliding closet doors that weren't working anymore because the wheels were gummy, not properly adjusted, and the track was damaged. Alberto fixed them up like new. Then I had him take care of two very large, very heavy sliding glass doors that, after years of neglect, now required tremendous force to open. He fixed them both, which in one case meant completely removing them and building a new base for it (the old one was rotted and devoured by termites). This also included replacing some of the oak flooring, with which he took great care to match the stain and finish as closely as possible. Alberto is conscientious and meticulous and will always do top-notch work for you. He's honest and trustworthy. He's not the cheapest, but he's the best!
