About us

Advanced Window Systems is a specialty Window and Patio door contractor serving the San Mateo County 650 area code in the San Francisco Bay area for 23 years. We specializie in replacement and new construction installation methods of installing windows , patio doors, bays , bows sill replacement and stucco patch and repair. We also do wall cut outs, wall cut downs and handle most dry rot repair that is needed. I have personally installed windows for building inspectors in Belmont,San Carlos and Redwood City. We have been in the same location in belmont for 15 years and buy direct from the major manufacturers and have never put a limit on our installations including caulking!

did a great job replacing older windows with energy efficient Andersen and Milgard windows. very professional and knowledgeable, are certified for lead safety. they do the installation themselves, which is great for quality (rather than buying from a dealer and not knowing what to expect with different installer)...and were able to install the day after the windows arrived. would highly recommend to anyone who wants high quality replacement windows without too many frills.

Don and Julie are on time, professional, and very competitively priced. He took care of all the permits and the inspector gave the job an A+ after review. They did a terrific job with all the window replacements, and are sticklers for detail. I highly recommend Don and Julie at Advanced Window Systems for any window replacement needs, and as we continue to replace old windows in our house, we?ll certainly be using them again.
Description of Work: We’ve used Don and Julie to replace windows twice now: once when we bought our new house in December 2010 (five windows replaced in total), and more recently in June 2012 where we had five of our downstairs windows and one upstairs window replaced.

Description of Work: Superb job replacing some older windows and sliding door. Very careful about details (building inspector seemed quite impressed). The new windows/door have held up well under high winds and rain since installation. Although the price was on the high side, I would use them for any future window project.

Went great. After trying the big box store which made the replacement window too wide by 1/8 inch even though they took a smaller dimension in the order this company did it right and it fit like a glove. Same price as the Big Box.
Description of Work: Built aluminum one double hung to my specifications for my installation.
