+ 0 moreThey are wonderful. They do quality work. I had an issue with my neighbor and they dealt with it. They went out and got a city work permit even though I hadn't asked them to. That was the issue my neighbor had. I work nights so they didn't bother me. They worked quietly. They were clean. They put everything back the way it was. They were very fair in their pricing.
Description of Work: L & D Plumbing & Heating came out 4 months ago and replaced my main water line.

+ -1 moreHe was very helpful. I thought I needed a new water heater, but he determined that it just a new pipe I needed on top of the water heater because the other one was corroded. He came on time, he was very efficient and worked very hard. The total listed is for labor, material and tax.
Description of Work: He came out to look at my water heater. He also fixed the master bath faucet that was leaking a bit.

+ -1 moreI could not be more satisfied with Dave Ligtenberg's professionalism, honesty and the work he performed. This is the first time I have used L & D Plumbing and I would not hesitate to call them again if needed. I would however, make a special request to have them send Dave Ligtenberg.
Description of Work: I had very low pressure from one of my showers. I had already removed the shower head and checked for blockage and saw none. Dave Ligtenberg showed up the same day I called and found the problem within minutes. There was another part on the shower head that he took apart and found the blockage. While Dave cleaned up his working area, he noticed that my sink was spraying from the sink faucet. Dave removed the screen and quickly fixed the spraying faucet without me even asking and without charge. I also had a bathtub that needed a new spout, a toilet that continuously ran and a shower that leaked. First thing the next morning, he returned with the parts and fixed the tub spout and running toilet. Due to possible extensive damage from the leak in the shower, Dave offered to go under the house and evaluate the damage. He advised me against doing a temporary quick fix which I was willing to do. I felt absolutely no pressure to perform unnecessary work.

+ -1 moreSteve returned our call quickly. I told him to come the next day. He said his worker will be at our home at 8:00 am. The worker was there on time. Took about an hour to complete the project and cleaned up the area.
Description of Work: Installed a new single kitchen faucet with pull-out spray, supplied by me.

+ -1 moreThis company was the one that did the initial re-piping of our home. Therefore, they came and corrected the situation for us. There was no charge and they were very helpful with everything. They were able to respond very quickly.
Description of Work: They fixed a broken copper pipe under the foundation and they replaced it with a new copper pipe.

+ -1 moreSteve DeVries is very courteous and seemingly experienced. Since this was done through our insurance agency, I do not have the amount for the actual work done yet. I would use him again for other repairs. I just used $1000 as the amount paid for now so I could submit this report.
Description of Work: We had a sudden slab leak in our downstairs bathroom. On our home owner's insurance AllState's recommendation, we used L&D to do the pipe repairs. Steve DeVries came to our house within 2 hours to inspect the problem and quickly suggest a temporary fix until they could do the actual repairs. Steve shut off the water of the house, then rerouted the hot water from the problem area. We were able to use our bathroom again, minus hot water. Steve was in and out within 1/2 hour which was great. It seemed he has seen and done this many, many times so knew exactly what to do.

+ -1 moreWORKED WITH STEVE. VERY EFFICIENT AND COMPETENT. KNEW HOW TO DO LEAK DETECTION WITHOUT DAMAGING THE PROPERTY FURTHER. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I USED THEM AND WAS QUITE PLEASED BOTH TIMES, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR LEAK DETECTION.

+ -1 moreI HAVE USED L & D PLUMBING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROMPT AND DID A GOOD JOB ON WHATEVER IT WAS. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND I FEEL THAT A FAIR PRICE WAS CHARGED.
Description of Work: L & D PLUMBING AND HEATING DID SEVERAL JOBS HERE AT MY HOME. FIXED A WATER FILTER THAT WAS INSTALLED UNDER THE SINK, CHANGED KITCHEN FAUCET, REPLACED A TOILET.
