+ -1 moreWe had an emergency situation with a leak in the gas pipe (riser). Housecalls came very quickly and they very carefully removed the old riser which was corroded (had a hole in it) without breaking/disturbing the main gas pipe (not an easy task). It was a delicate procedure, and if not done properly (in haste or using the wrong tools/equipment), could easily have resulted in breaking the other connecting pipes, which would be much more expensive. (and I was told earlier by the So. Cal Gas company that most other dishonest plumbers would suggest replacing the entire main gas line - even if it was unnecessary - most of the times, it is the riser they said). I am very pleased with the results and thank Mark and his team for their honesty in that regard. I have also used Housecalls in other situations where we had a very difficult leak to be detected in the apartment unit (and he was very good at troubleshooting where the problem was and fixing it.). I highly recommend his services.
Description of Work: We had an emergency gas leak in the "riser" - the pipe that connects (90's) to the underground main gas line. The gas company was called and we were advised that it was most likely the riser and not the main gas line.
