I'm putting my house on the market and wanted it to look good. I think the work was scheduled a week after I called. I'm farily sure if it hadn't been during Thanksgiving cleaning rush, I could have had it done earlier. However, Brendan worked very hard to make my carpets look almost new again. To my complete amazement, he was even able to remove some dark hair dye from very light capret, truly a Christmas miracle! I was very pleased with the whole experience and Brendan was absolutely professional and great at his job. I see carpet cleaning "deals" everyday and am so glad I didn't fall for one of those. Stick to Angies recommendaions.

This company did an excellent service! I have had the carpet cleaned several times but the outcome has never been like this. The carpet looks new! I will call them again to clean the carpet. I highly highly recommend them. Expert Carpet Care is a wonderful company to deal with! I called them for a pick-up, and they were at my place the next day. Brian, my technician, was wonderful to deal with. He was unfailingly polite, very knowledgeable, and most importantly, always called & showed up on time!!!! This rug is huge, and white shag, so it is not an easy clean. They returned it today, less than a week after pick up, and it looked brand new! They are extremely thorough, and having them take the rug back to their facility allows them to clean it multiple times (white shag can get VERY dirty!!!) and return in dry and ready to be used. We are on the fourth floor, so in house cleaning isn't an option, but even if it was, I still think that pick up is the way to go! This is the 2nd time I have used them, and I will continue to do so in the future. They are reasonably priced, and their customer service is top notch.

I purchased a new home that had sat mostly empty for a couple of years. So I checked on Angie's List for a good flooring contractor. I chose Expert Carpet Care for their numerous 5-star ratings and the comments from other members. The entire experience from initial phone call for information and appointment scheduling to completion of work was the best experience I have had with a contractor of any type. Jim, the owner, showed up on time and gave a thorough inspection and quote. Great guy, very personable. He was very knowledgable and was sure he could get my carpets clean and the travertine floors and grout clean and sealed. I scheduled the cleaning for a week out and Manny and Kevin showed up on time and ready to work. They spent an entire day working on everything. Starting with the carpet in two bedrooms and then working on the travertine and grout in the 3rd bedroom and rest of the house - including the bathrooms, kitchen, entry, living room, and dining room. I can't believe the difference! Looks like new carpet and the travertine floors shine brightly. The dirty grout which I thought might need to be replaced turned out perfect.Manny and Keven were as personable and professional as Jim! NIce to see the pride of ownership that the whole staff had with regard to their business and reputation. Jim called a couple of days later to ask about the job and though it wasn't necessary, offered to come back and polish up the floors as well, at no charge! I took him up on the offer though not sure the floors could look any better. Manny came back a week later, which was as soon as I could be available. He showed up right on time and worked for a couple of hours. I think he went over the travertine floors 4 times with their special rotory polishing brushes. Amazing! These floors now reflect light across them like never before, better than new I think! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for expert knowledge, quality results, and exceeded expectations. You won't be disappointed.

had a room that the tenant had dogs... they did their best, however, i wound up having to replace the carpet. not a reflection on them, just what was needed.

My carpet in my condo was cleaned by Expert Carpet Care. I have a very small condo and half of it is carpet. The gentlemen were very polite and punctual. The carpet got a lot of wear -- since you basically live in a tiny space it's some serious wear. I had not had the carpets cleaned since I had them installed 7 years prior. I had many stains there that I figured were permanent. I also have pets -- two cats -- who did their own damage. Whenever that happened I cleaned up as well as I could, though the carpet wasn't like new, obviously. I didn't think that these stains would come out, since they often don't, but these guys got them out. They seemed to think that the staining was simply dirt that had hung on to the cleaning fluid I used. Maybe. All I know was that it worked out very well for me. The price was very reasonable. Making the appointment was very easy.

They've been amazing in the past. This most recent job however, was horrible. I think they might have a new crew. You could see that it was not clean. It was not up to their normal standards.

The workers were punctual and did the job, however, after several hours allowing the carpets to dry we felt they were not clean enough and called the manager (owner?) late that afternoon. He responded immediately and cleaned them again the next morning and we were pleased with the results. The grade on quality reflects the fact that the carpets had to be a second time. The actual bill was less than the estimated amount and we appreciated the owner's quick response.

I was very impressed with the whole experience of working with this company. I needed my carpets and upholstery done right away as my husband was going to be starting chemotherapy. When I contacted Expert Carpet Care they rearranged their schedule to accommodate my needs and did an exellent job. They were punctual and very courteous. I really enjoyed having them at my home. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The two men who cleaned the carpets were punctual, pleasant,, and did an extremely good job. I will certainly have Expert Carpet clean my carpets in the future. There was one negative: I thoroughly measured my areas to be cleaned and counted steps. This information was provided to the lady who answered the phone when I called to get an estimate. She gave me an estimate which I thought was reasonable. When the men arrived to clean the carpets, I was quoted a price considerable higher. After a short back and forth, a price of about same as the the estimate was agreed upon. I would have preferred not to have had to negotiate the price.

They showed up on time, were very informative and professional, and did a wonderful job cleaning our pretty dirty living room carpeting, even removing some old stains.

Staff called and were able to come early which helped me out. They were friendly and professional. Thoroughly cleaned sofa and loveseat. Only down side was the charges fell short of their minimum house call of $225, which I was advised of at the time. To offset the difference, they vacuumed a large oriental style area rug that I could not send out for cleaning at that time. Received a follow-up call to ask about satisfaction with their service. Very postive experience. Will use them again.

I called for a quote and spoke to a friendly and helpful person. It was hard to get an exact quote because I had no idea what the square footage was. They gave me a range and said they would give an exact quote when they measured. I was in a hurry so we agreed to make an appointment and confirm the quote the day of the appointment. They told me they would move the furniture, that I didn't have to worry about anything. Very large or heavy pieces would be left in place.The morning of the appointment they arrived about 10 minutes early. They quickly measured and the quote was lower than the original quote, plus they would give me a 10% discount because of Angie's list. I showed them some per stains and wrote out the check. They mentioned that they would also do, at no charge, the indoor-outdoor carpet on the front porch (to minimize new dirt coming into the house). I made a joke about the back stairs, and they said they would include them as well. I left for work as they began. When I came home that night, the carpet ( a light beige) was immaculate. All stains were gone (and they stayed gone). Most of the carpet was already completely dry, and the rest was dry by the next morning. There was plastic or styrofoam under the feet of all the furniture that they moved and it was easy to pull out. The carpet looks brand new (it's 8 years old). I was impressed with the professionalism, the responsiveness and the customer care. The front and back porches were a real bonus, bringing the price into a very competitive range. I've paid less before, and I've used dry cleaning services. Never again! I'll be using Expert Carpet Care from now on. They have my strongest recommendation.

Carpet and couch were extremely dusty after remodeling elsewhere in house. Gave an estimate over the phone based on carpet square footage & sectional length provided by me. Came out to clean within a few days of initial contact. Courtesy call right before arriving at my door. Prompt, courteous, quick and thorough. Actual cost was less than sight-unseen estimate given over the phone. I did not have a coupon. They gave me a 10% Angie's discount.
