I moved into a home and thought that we would have to replace all the carpets. As pretty much all of my money was used on the purchase of the home, I explored carpet cleaning first. Boy, am I glad I did! I found Expert Carpet Care on Angie's list and Jim was out to look at our home within an hour. He told me I had a lot of life left in my carpet and they could clean it to the point where I would "get tired of the carpet before I would need to replace it." He recommended that I get it restretched first as over time the carpet had become loose. I immediately scheduled our appointment. The very next day the carpet stretcher came and worked his magic. The carpet was pulled up and re-laid in the morning and in the afternoon the two cleaning professionals arrived. They put towels down on the hardwood floors, bumpers on corners where the machinery might have marred the walls and banisters. They were polite and professional. No foul language, no smoking, no dilly-dallying. I also want to remark on the fact that the two men worked together as a team, demonstrating the same respect for each other that they expressed for me. In all of my dealings with home maintenance issues this has not been the norm and I was incredibly impressed. When the team arrived they set right to work and within 2 hours I had beautifully cleaned carpets. In these tough economic times, every penny counts. In this case I got the most bang for my buck. I have clean carpet that I will keep for YEARS. Carpet that I could not afford to replace right now has now become carpet that is absolutely fine. I was so thrilled with the honesty, integrity, and workmanship of every person in this experience that I hired them to clean the carpet in my former residence, a two story townhouse, that I was planning on renting. Again I thought for sure I'd have to replace the carpet as there were some serious high-traffic areas, especially on the stairs. Again, within 24 hours the Expert Care team was on their way. This time I could not be there to let them in but my comfort level was so high with this company that I left a key for them and said "work your magic, I trust you." When I stopped by later to see the work at the townhouse I was amazed. The carpet looked better than it did when I moved into the townhouse 8 years ago. Most importantly, I will not need to replace that carpet either! Without an ounce of reservation I absolutely recommend this company. I have the utmost respect for every person I dealt with- Jim, the receptionist, the technicians. The price was fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the professionalism remarkable.

I can't express how happy we are with the work performed by George at Expert Carpet Care! We called Expert for emergency repairs to two (2) areas of berber carpet that were damaged by our puppy. The home is a rental from which we are moving in THREE DAYS, so the work needed to be done ASAP. Tracy at the office was so incredibly friendly and helpful and George was at our door within 90 minutes of the call. Berber carpet is notoriously hard to repair (we tried unsuccessfully to do it ourselves) and the carpet now looks as good as new! George and Tracy totally saved us... THANK YOU!!!

Expert Carpet Care cleaned two rooms, five area rugs and three upholstered chairs. The price, for the amount of work they did, was extremely reasonable. They were on time and professional and I would use this company again in the future.

This is how every service call should go--the techs arrived on time, calling to let me know they were on the way. When they arrived they were friendly and professional and they got right to it. They were done pretty quickly, gave me post-cleaning instructions and welcomed me to call if a stain came back or if there were any other issues. A few days later the owner of the company called to make sure everything went satisfactorily and to again let me know that I should call if I noticed any areas that were not not cleaned to my satisfaction. The price was very reasonable, too. I don't see a whole lot of room for improvement, they did a great job in every respect.

We contacted Expert Carpet Cleaning based on their Angie's rating and scheduled the cleaning for the following Thursday at 830 a.m. They called shortly before the appointed time and informed us they were about five minutes away. Upon arrival the two technicians, Manny and Jake measured the room and provided a quote of $125, their minimum charge. Our room is approximately 15x20. We pointed out some areas we were concerned about. The last time we had it cleaned by one of the "big name" companies we were disappointed in the outcome, and were considering replacing the carpet which is about eight years old. They assured us they would give extra attention to these areas. The cleaning process took approximately one hour and we are very pleased with the outcome. The carpet looks great , even the high traffic areas we were concerned about. Both of the technicians were very professional, wearing uniforms, and their equipment was of high quality. We would definitely recommend this company.

They are great people and go above and beyond the job at hand. I would recommend them to anyone as a quality company who you can trust, we have used them several times and would never switch.

The two men were exactly on time and began their work almost immediately. They were both very cordial and professional. Although our carpet was very, very dirty, they cleaned it beautifully, except for a couple of spots, which had to be cleaned over and over. Even so, the carpet is in much better shape than it had been the past couple of years and looks nice now. We definitely would recommend this company.

I called for the appointment on a Friday and the job was scheduled for the following Monday morning. Repairman was on time, communicated what he was going to do, and gave advice on how to proceed with the second job. He worked quickly, quietly, and cleaned up after himself before leaving. I rate this company an "A" across the board except for Price, but only because I did not do much shopping around to compare their price to others; what they quoted seemed acceptable to me and that's all I needed.

Great overall experience from start to finnish.

The owner personally estimated the job, on site. Their price was very reasonable, and the owner was helpful and knowledgeable. He offered additional cleaning information regarding my granite countertops, even though the company did not clean countertops. I accepted their estimate, and set up an appointment to start the work. I was assured that the work would be performed by long time trusted employees of the company, and not outside contractors. A 2 - man crew arrived on the scheduled day and time. They were prompt and courteous, and spoke English. They completed the work in a timely manner, even putting in extra effort on a water stained area, with impressive results. They were very clean and neat, and did not leave any messes behind. They offered to leave disposable fabric shoe/slippers, to wear in the house while the grout was drying. They did a wonderful job on the tile. The grout was so clean and white that it looked new again. The tiles were sparkling. They also re-sealed all of the grout for a nominal extra charge. I will hire this company on a regular basis to keep the grout and tile in my home clean, and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Called them. They heard what I wanted them to do...they gave me a quote of between 65-85 bucks a chair. I chose them because of their proximity to the house, the fact that they use Green cleaners, and the feedback that I had read here on Angie's List. Manny showed up during the time frame they gave, took a look at the chairs and quoted me 65.00 per chair, which was a pleasant surprise. He went straight to work and worked steadily for about an hour and 45 minutes. When he was done he put everything back where it was and cleaned up after himself (not that there was any mess anyway.) The chairs were really wet, but he said they would be dry in 3-4 hours. It was more like 6 hours before they were dry enough all over to sit in, but that didn't matter because it was a weekday and he was here in the morning, and there was no one around to sit in the chairs anyway. The chairs look like NEW! We were very happy with the outcome. We will definitely call them in the future for other work around the house.

Expert Carpet Care was friendly and professional. They were on time and I would definitely recommend them.

They were incredible. I would rate them an A on everything. We will be having them out again. I spent $390 on that work. It was amazing because we have a cat which has had anxiety issues. The owner was incredible and the person who did the work was absolutely amazing. They were so upfront about stuff. The one room where it was really bad, they suggested we put a bamboo floor in. We got such great information from them. They were so honest about what would transpire with the cats and what wouldn’t. I could not believe what they could do.

They did good work, and the carpets turned out very well. They were very flexible with their time. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Techs arrived right on time, surveyed the job and provided an estimate of time and cost (which included measuring each area). Set up was quick even though job was on second story condo unit. Provided protectors for hardwood floors and wall corners. Work was as promised. Carpet was damp but not overly wet when they left. Cleaned up well after themselves. Very pleased with results.

They were good. My husband was here and I wasn’t here. I think he paid them about $120 for the service. They were fine and it was the same quality that we had before. The price was fair. I had someone else who had messed on those chairs over the years. So, I was really afraid of anybody touching them. However, I let Expert Carpet Care clean the chairs only because of the previous work that they had done.

When they left, carpet was not overly saturated with water. Dried super quick!

I call to make an appointment; I drop off my carpets; I get a call that the work is complete (always within timeframe promised); I pick up my beautifully cleaned carpets. Easy!

They did a really fantastic job. Their charge is the same as that of everybody else. They will be coming out again next week.

Phone reservation was friendly and easy. Finding a time to be home during working hours was the limitation, too bad they don't have weekend or evening hours. They let me know that not having power in the home was ok - they would run equipment from their truck. Communication was suboptimal on the day of cleaning. They set a 2 hour window but it wasn't quite clear that they could arrive anytime during that window. Sure enough they came one hour into the window, saying that they were delayed by the previous job. Single operator was professional and courteous, and described what he was doing. Layed down a limited amount of moving blankets to protect the hardwood stairs from the hoses. Cleaning appeared pretty thorough - multiple passes required over the same area of carpet. Tried to turn on a power fan to speed the drying process but without power, that wasn't possible. Took about 2 hours to complete work.

Not only was Jim (the President) very amenable to going out of his way for JUST an estimate, he was extremely forthright with me once he did observe the condition of the carpet. He explained some of the things I should be looking at. For example, there were dark areas on the edge of the carpeting that he indicated showed the age of the carpet. (I wasn't really paying attention to the edges of the carpet; I had focused upon the center of the room). He acknowledged that some rust-like spots on the carpet would likely not come all the way out. I was floored when he ended up suggesting to replace the carpet! He had absolutely no agenda and didn't benefit at all from this recommendation. In fact, he spent time giving me some "pointers" on what to look for when purchasing carpet. I was impressed with Jim's integrity and would certainly recommend him highly. That kind of dedication shows a high regard for customer satsifaction. It's clear he feels a personal commitment to each and every job.

My den carpet is approximately 10 years old and I contemplated purchasing new carpet. However, I decided that I would try carpet rejuvenation prior to that expense. Expert's first employee, George, a real professional, stretched and reattached the carpet and I was really surprised at the great change that made. The second appointment was for conditioning and cleaning and Brad (another professional) was the technician assigned. He started by conditioning and cleaning two of my large area rugs and finished with the den carpeting . What a wonderful result, all the carpeting looked brand new and it didn't cost anywhere near replacement. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The men assigned were courteous and professional. The appointments scheduled were on-time. I would hire Expert Carpet Care, Inc. for any of my upholstery or carpeting needs.

It was a good experience overall. Our carpet was new and this is the first cleaning. The condition wasn't bad to start with but it's good to have good as new carpet. I'd use this company again. They called to confirm the appointment.

My wife did the dealing with them and she was very favorably impressed. The one in charge of the company was on site and he talked to her, and oversaw all the work that was done. So she was very pleased with them. They are a fine company and they do reliable work. I don?t have a basis for the comparison of price. I can?t comment on the price because my wife took care of those things. They were responsive and punctual. My wife and I would use their services again in the future.

Tim and Doug arrived on time and went right to work. They worked enthusiastically for over two hours. In addition to their excellent truck-mounted equipment, they had several speciality cleaners that took out a variety of stains, including the dirty lines on the side of the stairs. They moved heavy furniture, placed plastic squares under all the chairs and tables, and foam blocks under the heavy pieces. We were amazed at their results because we had considered replacing the carpet. The owner, Jim, called two days later to follow up on the service. We will use them again and definitely recommend them based on the excellent results of their work.
